The Goblin-Sprint is one of our most popular models, a special edition created just for Japan. It's a Japan-only model designed for the small waves in Japan. It's perfect for surfers who are busy with work and can only surf a few times a month or on weekends, or who, like me, have gotten fatter or older and their movements have slowed down, but don't want to ride a longboard-like board; they want to enjoy turns on a shortboard and feel the feel of a high-performance board.

That requires thickness, but the Goblin-Sprint is thick, has a gentle rocker, and is wide, so it has enough buoyancy to easily paddle in small waves. Even wearing a thick wetsuit in the middle of winter in cold water is no problem.

This model is available in two construction options. One is the "Flexlite Hyper," which is lightweight and features a beautiful UV-resistant white paint finish and two uniquely shaped carbon bands on the bottom. The other is the "Flexlite Limited," a special model that has it all. If you want a board with the ultimate construction, including looks, this is it.

The entire top is covered in a carbon-look sheet called Texalium, and from the tail to the nose it has a high-gloss finish with a black to silver fade color. The bottom has a smooth matte finish and features Fuse Carbon in the center, making it a board for surfers who appreciate its value.

This year's update, "GOBLIN-Sprint," has added a special design, so let's talk about it. First, we've incorporated the release channel "R2-C." "GOBLIN" is equipped with a large "elevator wing."

The Elevator Wing adds rail rocker to this wide, flat shape design, allowing you to turn deeper than normal when you engage the rail. The short, flat rocker and volume of the board allow you to get into the slope of the wave. This helps with quick left and right turns with a loose movement.

It's easy to turn even in waves where it's hard to keep a powerful pocket. The updated Goblin-Sprint features an Elevator Wing with an R2-C Release Channel. The R2-C Release Channel isn't parallel, but rather radiates along the quad back fin, curving out toward the tail. This R2-C Release Channel increases speed and control. Pushing the tail accelerates the turn and helps you pick up speed. It all works together to create a whole new level.

That's why we named it Sprint. It doesn't gradually increase speed, but accelerates explosively, like a sprinter. It also retains the design of the previous Goblin. We can see from the feedback that it's been well received. You don't have to surf like a top athlete on this board, just have fun surfing in a crowded ocean on the weekend. It can also be used to teach kids the basics.
The most notable feature is the improved acceleration performance achieved by the newly added release channel "R2-C," which is also the origin of the name "GOBLIN-Sprint."
