"Ian Crane"
I competed in Round 3 Heat 7.
If I could get 5.77 points, I would have won.
I couldn't catch any good waves and ran out of time, so I was eliminated in round 3.

"Evan Geiselman"
With his sharp backside movements and 100% successful frontside air reverses,
He took first place in both Round 3 and Round 4 heats, advancing to tomorrow's Round 5.
The board he was riding today was the "
POCKET ROCKET ." Nishii and I exchanged messages on his Instagram and it seems that this board is perfect for the fast waves at Shidashita and is in great shape.

"Sarah Wakita"
Although she is not on the team, she is riding a LOST/MAYHEM board that she ordered from Love Surf. The model is the coveted COCO Ho F1 model from the same VOLCOM team. She is a promising female surfer raised in Hawaii who surfs stylishly. She won Round 2 with an excellent ride of 7.5 points, placing her in first place and advancing to tomorrow's quarter finals.

"Anon Matsuoka"
She was the only one entered in the AM. Although she ended up in third place in Round 2, she earned six points in Round 1, which raised her score, and in both Rounds 1 and 2 she was able to surf in the heats that were good enough to beat past JPSA Grand Champions, so it was a good experience and gave her confidence for the future.

This tournament has good waves and is well worth watching.
The highest level contest in Japan will be held until Sunday, May 5th, so be sure to come and watch it in person!
