This surf video pays homage to the FISH board and its recent resurgence. During the 1996/1997 winter season, when the entire professional surfing world was riding 6' locked out thrusters, two Lost Team riders showed up on the North Shore riding 5'5" twin fins.
It was a very strange sight at the time, but 12 years later, the trend towards shorter and wider surfboards is clearly visible. This surf video, 5'5" x 19 1/4" Redux, is a compilation of 12 years' worth of surf footage of the world's best surfers on boards under 5.5 feet.
