It was the world's largest women's surfing contest.

WSL "Nissan Girls Pro" venue report from Nishii in Oceanside, CA.

Maria Ward is a popular TV and social media personality who is currently extremely popular. I was riding LIGHT SPEED.

Nishii is elevated from the beach below the pier. I took this photo in front of the lifeguard station.

Events are held on both sides of the pier.

Oceanside is It is adjacent to the training grounds of the Air Force, Army, and Navy. It's a town where many soldiers live.

It is a fairly large scale event that will be held over three days.

Spectators had been gathering on the pier since the morning.

Love Surf also offers complimentary use of popular sunscreen, SUN BUM.

The title sponsor is Nissan, If you register your name and information at the booth, you will be entered into a lottery to win the latest car!

After the lifeguard car, The concert schedule is posted.

You can also drink alcohol!

Nissan cars, the title sponsor, are displayed everywhere.

Since it was a girls' event, hair and makeup were also provided free of charge!

Tomorrow is the final day! "Coco Ho," "Tia Bronco," and "Caroline Marks" are all winning. I'll report back from the scene tomorrow!!

カリフォルニア滞在中の西井は、メイヘムの案内で最新ボードが制作されているファクトリー『バーシャムス』へ潜入してきました。 この『バーシャムス』ファクトリー内では現在ホリデーシーズンへ向けて2026年の新モデル「フォーミュラー1」が所狭しと制作されていました。 この「フォーミュラー1」は2026年先行モデルとして発売される新モデルで2025年WSLワールドツアーの試合でチームライダーたちが使い好成績を収めたモデルです。 一般的には「ドライバー3.0」として認知されていましたが、WSLの試合を実況するライブで話するアナウンサーたちは「ドライバー4」に乗っていると何度も試合で話していたのをご存知でしょうか？？？ この「ドライバー4＝フォーミュラー1」は「ドライバー3.0」から進化したものではなく、全く新しい別シェイプデザインです。なので「ドライバー4」とは呼ばずに「フォーミュラー1」としてリリースします。 この「フォーミュラー1」と言うモデルは、長年のLostサーフボードユーザさんなら知っているかと思いますが、過去にもこの同じ名前のモデルがあったのですが、その「フォーミュラー1」を最新バージョンにしたものが2026年リリースされる「フォーミュラー1」通称『F1』エフワンになります。2025年ヤゴドラをワールドチャンピオンに導いたボードがこれです。 ドライバー3.0よりもやや細身でロッカーも若干だけありレールは薄く削がれています。 シャープに動く速いボードで、とにかくチームライダーたちが『速い！』と絶賛しているモデルです。 「フォーミュラー1」モデルは、アメリカでは11月中頃に限定本数リリースされ、日本では年末頃にかけて限定本数を2026年先行発売予定となっていますので皆さん楽しみにしていて下さい。 ハイパフォーマンスモデルユーザの方はLOSTチーム達と同様に必修になるモデルとなりますね！
