Hello, I'm Kohei, a staff member.
When I went to southern Chiba the other day, the wave information said it would be high to medium high, but the swell was forecast to gradually weaken, so I loaded my SHONAN WARRIOR, which I've been using a lot lately, into my car and set off.

When we arrived at the spot, the size had decreased as predicted, and the size of the Momo Tama set was just about the same as the chewy one...
The shoulders were not coming together easily and even after taking off, the board would just slide a little to the side, so without hesitation I chose the SHONAN WARRIOR from the surfboards I had in the car!

There were about 30 surfers at the point, but they were all concentrated at the peak where there were a few more waves and the shape was still better, so I chose a vacant position a little away from the peak, and it turned out to be the right decision.
*Sorry for the grainy image. It was too much of a hassle to walk up close...

Since I started on the SHONAN WARRIOR, I was able to ride even the crappy waves off the peak without worrying, and even in sections where a shortboard would have ended it, I was able to ride all the way to the inside without stopping, and of course, in sections with shoulders I was able to perform shortboard-like actions.

I tried various fin settings, including tri, quad, twin, and twin stabilizer, but the ``MR/twin stabilizer'' worked best for me.

The SHONAN WARRIOR can be used in larger waves, but it is often used in conditions where the shoulders are not too stiff, so the MR/Twin Stabilizer, which provides moderate hold while also having excellent rotation, is our top recommended fin setting!
If you have a wide surfboard but find it a bit slow to move, we recommend you try the MR/Twin Stabilizer!

As usual, he caught waves like a demon, and I caught 38 waves in 3 hours, and went home feeling quite exhausted!

This time I thought about it again, "SHONAN
The WARRIOR can turn even crappy waves that are 10-15 points into waves that are 30 points or higher, so even if you don't have to fight hard at the peak of the good waves, you can have a lot of fun at the peak of the bad waves when there aren't many people around. This is a model that is especially recommended for people who always surf at crowded spots!
