Sneak peek! Report on the San Clemente "LOST Surfboards Exclusive" Glassing Factory!

Located in San Clemente, California, this is a LOST surfboard store. I sneaked into the GLASSING factory and here's my report! In this glass factory dedicated to LOST, We are currently producing resin tint color boards to be sent to Japan. The colorful "Resin Tint Color" takes more time and effort to produce than a clear board, but not only does it improve the texture of the board, it also increases its strength, and discoloration over time or due to exposure to sunlight is less noticeable, allowing you to ride in beautiful color for a long time, so at Love Surf we recommend "Resin Tint Color". Compared to boards made by simply painting foam with an airbrush, "Resin Tint Color" has a luxurious texture and gives the color depth and shading, making the board stand out more like a work of art. The resin is rolled up from the bottom and then semi-hardened on the rail, giving it a short time to be cut with a cutter. This is the moment when the cutter can carefully hand-cut the resin along the outline. This is done by the factory manager, Petty. This is a process called hot coating, where a thin layer of clear resin is applied with a brush to create the top layer of resin tint color. At this time, the tail is taped to create the edges. The person doing the work is veteran "Chato." The "resin tint color" is completed by repeatedly applying glass to the deck and bottom. Resin tint color boards are more expensive than clear boards because they require more time and effort to work with, but please know that they offer value and functionality that far exceeds their price! The RNF-ULTRA, a new genre of board known as the "MID-FISH" board, is a hot topic. "SHONAN WARRIOR" is currently being pre-ordered by surfers at small wave beaches, Stock boards such as the ever-popular "RNF-RETRO" model, which is always out of stock, are scheduled to arrive in May! We are currently accepting pre-orders, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact us with any questions or inquiries. Please call us at 03-3732-5532 or use this contact form ! We can also advise you on board sizes and provide information on available colors!

We've arrived in San Clemente, California! Nishii reports from LOST headquarters!

Nishii arrived in Los Angeles, California last night. I immediately went to the LOST Surfboards headquarters in San Clemente, We bring you Nishii's latest report! The person wearing the red T-shirt is Sho Kobayashi, a Luvsurf USA staff member. The boards that will be sent to Luvsurf are being completed one after another. Resin tint color boards. Although they are all resin tint colors, the finish is light, and when you pick them up and hold them under your arm... It's an exquisite finish that will make you think, "I want to ride it!!!" and "It looks great!!!" There were also many "CARBON WRAP" products, which have been popular since their release!!! This amount can be seen at once, making it the most popular brand in the USA. Because it's "LOST Surfboards"! In California, USA, people who have never ridden a LOST surfboard before are finding that it is fast, mobile, and that just by changing boards they can get in shape and become better surfers, so the surfboards are becoming increasingly popular! Many kids and young surfers look up to the USA's top surfboarders, Kolohe and Griffin, and LOST surfboards are now the most popular in the US, not just among older LOST fans from the VHS era! All the really good California surfers ride LOST boards! When choosing a surfboard, a true surfer places the utmost importance on riding the waves, and if they were to choose a board based on the performance that surfers are actually looking for, they would end up with a ``LOST surfboard''! Is there anyone who hasn't tried a LOST surfboard yet? If you want to improve your surfing, we recommend the high-quality, high-performance LOST surfboard! This is a look at today's work at Catalyst Glass Factory. The boards lined up are the resin tint colored " SHONAN WARRIOR " boards that were pre-ordered before they arrived, and there are only a few left in stock. The LOST crew is working hard to finish them so that everyone in Japan can ride them as soon as possible!

Must-see video! LOST TV:LOST『MAYSYM』Goofy vs Regular?

LOST surfboard shape designer MAYHEM began developing an asymmetrical tail board in 2013, and after many years of testing with his team of riders, he has finally reached the point where he will be releasing the "Mayhem" model in the spring of 2019. After years of researching how an asymmetrical tail works, and countless updates, with the help of Kolohe, Griffin, Mason, Ian, Nate, Shaw, and LOST Japan, we tested it on boards of all sizes to create this special asymmetrical tail design. There are regular and goofy stance versions, each with a rocket tail on the toe side and a round tail on the heel side. The bottom side of the rocket tail on the toe side has a hook channel, which allows you to turn towards the top on the front side and climb to the top at a steep angle. The rounded heel tail is designed to allow the board to change direction quickly and easily when flipping on the backside or top. Turns are easier and more fine-tuned on the front side, where you control them with your toes, so the built-in hook channel allows you to push the tail rail more to make a tight, straight turn on the inside, or apply weight slowly and for a long time to make a big, long drive turn. The heel side is a round tail. This design makes it easier to make bottom turns on the backside, and allows for better rotation and easier control of the board when doing top turns, lip action, carving, etc. on the heel side than a symmetrical tail. It is the width of the tail area that allows us to change the shape of the tail from left to right. The wide tail also has the advantage of allowing you to maintain speed in small, powerless waves or slow sections of the waves without losing speed. The performance and movement of the left and right turns are different, making left and right turns more efficient and easier without putting strain on the rider, allowing for more dynamic surfing. While regular asymmetrical boards have asymmetrical fin settings, this "Maesim" model is designed to be ridden with a regular 5-fin setting to eliminate the difficulty of riding and ensure that it can be enjoyed by a wide range of surfers when it is released to the market. I enjoy riding with tri-fins like Kolohe, quads like Nate and Shaw, and two small XS fins on one side and two large L fins on the other like Mason. This "Maesim" allows you to set the fins asymmetrically and use your imagination to enjoy surfing even more. Kolohe and Griffin also enjoy surfing here as a relaxing private spot during the off-season. "MAYSYM" is a model with a playful design that is typical of LOST and aimed at average surfers. The Ultimate Placebo surfboard features FLEXLITE technology for maximum rebound performance!

This is a photo of Nishii taken when I went out to take photos yesterday, Friday, March 15th. The board I'm riding is a PLACEBO 5'8" DIABLO-X FLEXLITE-ULTIMATE. The photo was taken at Higashinami Beach Break in northern Chiba. The water temperature in northern Chiba has risen, and some people are not wearing boots, so it's been a while since I last went. Nishii doesn't like the cold, but he went surfing in the northern Chiba area. Nishii was wearing boots, but the water temperature was certainly suitable for swimming without them. The latest evolution of the Placebo surfboard's "FLEXLITE" technology provides the best rebound performance. The Ultimate is efficiently equipped with seven carbon fibers, The strong and powerful rebound allows for fast action in slow, fast waves. It is significantly different from the previous PLACEBO "FLEXLITE" technology, PLACEBO users will be the first to experience this! The new lightweight and high-strength EPS foam allows even those with weak leg strength to turn. It sinks deep and big, and the seven carbon fibers will lift you up and help you go faster! Click here to purchase the PLACEBO surfboard, which underwent a full model change in 2019! If you have any questions or concerns about the size of the board you want to ride, please feel free to call us at 03-3732-5532! Or feel free to contact us using this "Contact Form" .
