Check out the photos of Nishii riding LOST's RNF-ULTRA!

Check out the photos of Nishii riding LOST's RNF-ULTRA! It's well known that the RNF model is my favorite, but I've been riding the RNF-ULTRA , which I designed and called a pioneering new genre called "MID-FISH," on a crowded beach during Golden Week, and it's in amazing condition. I'd like to share with you all that it's in great condition, so much so that it's no exaggeration to say that it's the best model sold exclusively in Japan to date. In Chiba North, I ride at Ichinomiya Beach, which is always crowded. Because it's Golden Week, it's three times as crowded as usual, but I've been able to catch good waves from the outermost point of every set. With a longboard, you can't move quickly, so you can just run and dig into the waves, but with the LOST RNF-ULTRA, that's not the case, and even with KID and foreign QS competitors from around the world, I'm not at a loss when it comes to catching waves. Moreover, the CL value is 30CL at 5'10", so the rails are thinner and sharper than the 5'5" 27.5CL ``RNF-REDUX'' that Nishii usually rides. With a length of 5'10", it's easy to pick up speed and ride in thick waves. If you can only surf in crowded oceans on weekends, we highly recommend the RNF-ULTRA ! Introducing Sarah Wakita, currently ranked 7th in the world, who drives the F1-COCO HO model.

"Sarah Wakita" She's the daughter of the renowned surf pro, Takayuki Wakita, and grew up in Hawaii, so she's fluent in English. She watched Coco Ho closely as a child, and her style is similar to Coco's, a fact WSL commentators frequently mention. Currently ranked 7th in the world on the QS, she was the top competitor and a favorite to win, but the heat took place during the worst time of the day due to strong winds on the low tide. Nishii was unlucky, losing to a weaker competitor who caught a good wave, and was eliminated in the semifinals, finishing in 5th place. After her heat, Nishii spoke with her father, who seemed very disappointed, but said she's still in the early stages of the competition and will practice from now on to ensure she never repeats that defeat. Sarah is looking forward to ordering a board at Mayhem's Japan event on May 17th and 18th. The final of the WSL Ichinomiya Open is scheduled to end on Saturday the 4th. On the 5th (Sunday), when the waves are forecast to be smaller, the Super Session and KIDS and GROM class contests will be held, and on the 6th (Monday), the final day of the Golden Week holidays, the All Japan Contest will be held, which will also serve as the Olympic qualifying tournament.

Check out Nishii's follow-up report from the WSL QS "Ichinomiya Open" on May 2nd!

"Ian Crane" I competed in Round 3 Heat 7. If I could get 5.77 points, I would have won. I couldn't catch any good waves and ran out of time, so I was eliminated in round 3. "Evan Geiselman" With his sharp backside movements and 100% successful frontside air reverses, He took first place in both Round 3 and Round 4 heats, advancing to tomorrow's Round 5. The board he was riding today was the " POCKET ROCKET ." Nishii and I exchanged messages on his Instagram and it seems that this board is perfect for the fast waves at Shidashita and is in great shape. "Sarah Wakita" Although she is not on the team, she is riding a LOST/MAYHEM board that she ordered from Love Surf. The model is the coveted COCO Ho F1 model from the same VOLCOM team. She is a promising female surfer raised in Hawaii who surfs stylishly. She won Round 2 with an excellent ride of 7.5 points, placing her in first place and advancing to tomorrow's quarter finals. "Anon Matsuoka" She was the only one entered in the AM. Although she ended up in third place in Round 2, she earned six points in Round 1, which raised her score, and in both Rounds 1 and 2 she was able to surf in the heats that were good enough to beat past JPSA Grand Champions, so it was a good experience and gave her confidence for the future. This tournament has good waves and is well worth watching. The highest level contest in Japan will be held until Sunday, May 5th, so be sure to come and watch it in person!

Fresh from the field! Nishii's report on the men's round 2 of the WSL Ichinomiya Open!

"Crosby Colapinto" He is the younger brother of Griffin Colapinto, who is making his first appearance in Japan. As a seeded player, I started from round 2, but I came in third in a heat of four. Only the first and second place winners could advance to the next round, round 3, so I was eliminated here. Even though he lost the competition, he spent the evening practicing surfing at Sidatora, the venue next to the competition. Let's work hard next time so that he can become a WT athlete! Noah Hill This is his first appearance on 24'S Blog. He is a surfer from the USA and is good at aerials. Nishii follows him on Instagram and has always wanted to see him perform live, and this was the first time he was able to do so. My lower body is strong so I wasn't afraid to attack the intense close-out sections, but I ended up losing by a narrow margin in third place. "Ian Crane" Nishii and I often surf together in San Clemente, so we're good friends. Today he was riding his favorite Sub-Diver . He's a great friend of Kolohe's, so I want him to go to the World Tournament soon, but every year he's just one step away from making it. This time, he's one of the favorites to win, so I hope he can win the 6000, which has a high point value, and become a World Tournament competitor. "Evan Geiselman" He is also famous as the winner of this year's competition two years ago. He is a tall, slim surfer from Florida. He's incredibly good at small beach breaks, and with the forecast calling for smaller and smaller waves this year, we can expect him to win again. He was riding his usual Pocket Rocket . Ian Crane and Evan Geiselman were in the same heat. Evan Geiselman came in first place and Ian Crane came in second, advancing to Round 3. So, please look forward to Nishii's report from the site tomorrow!!

The two photos of him holding his board were taken immediately after practicing for the second round in the afternoon at Sida Tora. Round 1 is scheduled for the morning of April 30th, when this blog is published. "Ikko Watanabe" Yesterday, the under 12 GROM class advanced to the final day. He is currently practicing to perfect his air reverse. "Kay Kobayashi" I participated in Heat 2 of MENS Round 1, but I didn't get a score and was eliminated in third place. After the JPSA contest in Keramas, Bali, I was caught in a double-sized barrel wave in Keramas. I hit my head on the inside reef during low tide, causing a serious injury that exposed my skull, so I forced myself to enter the water without having the stitches removed yet. So, look forward to Nishii's next report from the Ichinomiya Chiba Open!

Thank you to everyone who came to our store and purchased so many brand new LOST surfboards!

Mr. A, LOST " RE-LOADED " POLYESTER was chosen. He currently lives in Saitama Prefecture and surfs at spots in the Ibaraki area, but he will soon be returning to his hometown of Osaka, where he will have more opportunities to surf at spots with smaller waves. He purchased the special edition POLYESTER ``RE-LOADED'', which has ample length and volume to power through small waves. Mr. B, He chose LOST's " RNF-ULTRA " RESIN TINT. He is a heavy LOST user who has been using various new LOST products such as the DIABLO-X and RNF-REDUX. He was interested in the RNF, which is a longer board that can be ridden, so he came to our store as soon as it arrived. After seeing it in person, he liked the sharper outline than he expected and purchased the 6'0. Mr. C said, LOST " DIABLO-X " POLYESTER was chosen. Every time a new model comes out, he is drawn to each one and thinks about which one would suit him best. He carefully selects one that best suits his needs, and chooses the DIABLO-X, which has a good overall balance for a veteran senior surfer. After comparing two sizes in the store, he decided to go with the 5'8" size, which was his top choice. Mr. D, He chose LOST's " RNF-RETRO " RESIN TINT. The 5'5" BEAN BAG that he is currently riding is going well and he is using it in fairly big waves, but as he has been riding it a lot it has started to show signs of wear and tear, so he was looking for a different model that would be a little longer to ride. The RNF-RETRO seemed to suit his needs, and he decided to ride it at 5'7". Mr. E, He chose LOST's "TUBE PIG" POLYESTER. This board is a custom-order model that Taji Barou developed and designed with Mayhem for tube waves. It was made to special custom specifications in 6'8" size to attack the secret points of his home island of Ishigaki Island. Since it is for big waves, the weight has been increased to prevent it from wobbling, and to increase the strength so that it doesn't break with the power of huge waves, the cross has been custom wrapped with two layers of 6 ounces on the deck and bottom, with carbon fiber running all the way to the tail end on the deck, and carbon fiber running straight from the nose to the front of the end fin on the bottom. Everyone! Come visit us! Lots! Thank you for purchasing our new "LOST Surfboard."
