The latest installment in the DIABLO series! The design, focused on paddle and takeoff performance, inherited from LOST's original Japan-only model, the CONQUEST, has evolved and been passed down. The focus on paddle performance makes paddling faster and easier. The Japan-only model also features a "dolphin grab rail," which makes it easier to grip the buoyant rails of the board when dolphining, a feature now essential for this board. The DIABLO-X has a solid center thickness, but the rails are thin, making it the thinnest rail shape in the series to date. The rails are designed to be so thin you might wonder if the board's CL value is really that great, which allows the rails to penetrate and increase control even in rough, hard-surfaced waves with bad winds.
