Latest MB Fin Information! FCS unveils the new "MAYHEM" 3 FINS to be released next spring!
The new "MAYHEM" FINS, to be released by FCS next spring, will have updated materials and designs! The flex pattern has also been revised. Art design by @thesonofcobra. It will be released in three sizes: S/M/L. For now, the three-fin set will be available for pre-sale. A 5-fin set is also planned for release in the future. The planned retail price is 18,000 yen. The flexible, high-resilience epoxy EPS board is further enhanced by two patented carbon bands for fast response. The LOST Carbon Wrap surfboard is a board that has been tuned to provide more drive. The effect is more pronounced in waves with less power, It was actually ridden in a contest at the beach break by the LOST team. There have been many excellent results. The 45-degree crossed "X-Glass™" adds longitudinal strength and also promotes flexibility, spreading pressure radially outwards towards the rail for better edge control and rail work. The board is laminated with a special blend of fiberglass and carbon fiber using an optically bright, shiny epoxy resin. The carbon wrap enhances the feeling of drive and provides a springy feel. We have achieved lightweight design without sacrificing strength, achieving performance that is on a different level from conventional boards. By removing the wooden stringers from the conventional blanks, we have improved flexibility and control. The extremely light EPS core is wrapped with a carbon fiber band in the most strategic position. By wrapping it outward along the board's outline towards the rails, it creates excellent flex and control. This curve controls the torsion that occurs just forward of the fin. The carbon wraps from the bottom of the nose, around the rails, and out to the rear of the deck. This unique method creates a distinct carbon wrap feel, resulting in next-level speed and drive. The deck surface is equipped with "X Glass", which boasts strength that is incomparable to conventional EPS epoxy boards.
