Check out the glass shop "exclusively for LOST surfboards."

Check out the inside of the LOST surfboards dedicated glass shop in San Clemente. This is a BEACHBUGGY model that has been flooded with custom orders since TAJI won the ASP Championship. We have prepared marks and crosses for the glass to be used. The board that veteran surfer Chad is glassing is the "SUB-SCORCHER2" model. This model was just released in the spring of 2013 and is great for small waves and offers high performance. With its double wing super swallow tail, flat rocker, and a sharply curved nose, this is a cool model that makes you want to go surfing just by looking at it. This is the "STEALHII" model, custom-ordered from Japan. The FCSII fins have also been installed and are now being cured. Once the resin has hardened, we will begin sanding. Logos for LOST, MAYHEM, and each model are stored on this wall and in the drawers to the right of the photo, and the laminator cuts out the necessary logos from here for use. This resin for polyester boards comes in large drums. The amount needed for one glass is poured into a large white cup, and the hardener and resin are quickly mixed by hand to create the glass. The amount of hardener and resin is adjusted by the craftsman to suit the amount of board ordered, as well as the temperature and humidity. The RNF-CLASSIC has been a staple product of LOST for nearly 20 years. Using FCS II on such a classic board is a cutting edge and great idea. Here we are drilling holes to attach the fin cups before glazing. This is a task that requires precision, as holes are drilled into the form and no mistakes are allowed. The glass shop owned by MAYHEM is officially recognized by the city of San Clemente and is the only surf and glass shop in California to have a surf shop and a glass shop next to each other, a feat that would no longer be permitted. It has a 40-year history. Posted by Luvsurf .

This "LOST Hooded Zip Parka" is aimed at older men, so I recommend it.

Today was as cold as midwinter, so I checked out the waves at various places, including Salt Creek near San Clemente. There were zero surfers at most spots, and it was a day of small waves with very few surfers in the water. This is the LOST surfboards warehouse. It's winter in California, LOST surfboards are so popular that orders are constantly coming in and production cannot keep up. Once again, many boards to be sent to Japan were completed. Most of the boards are custom-ordered, so we want you to be able to ride them as soon as possible. We will ship all items together by the end of the month to Luvsurf via airmail from CA for immediate delivery to you. SHAW will be offering this to Japanese customers in 2014 when placing custom orders. I am creating an art design list for the board. At the LOST surfboard factory, blanks are delivered from blank companies, It looked busy with people coming and going, with shaped boards being transported to the glass shop and various other people coming and going. It was cold today, and Nishii and Mayhem were wearing the same LOST hooded zip hoodies. I highly recommend this LOST hoodie as it has a calm design and colours that are perfect for older men. It will be available at Luvsurf soon, so stay tuned! Posted by Luvsurf .

We visited Epoxy PRO, the company that laminates Lost's XTR boards.

Today I went to Oceanside to visit Epoxy PRO, the company that laminates the LOST XTR boards. Before the visit, we had a quick round of golf at Southside Pier in Oceanside. Meeting with Habiyar from Epoxy PRO. I'm happy to say that in 2013 we received many more custom orders from Japanese customers than we expected. As the number of free stock boards being produced is decreasing, I have requested that they increase production of the Japan-only "XTR-FX" board, as I am sure that demand will increase further in 2014. Habiyar-san showed me on a PC monitor that he was currently developing a design for an XTR board with an electric underwater propeller. He was delighted that even though the product wasn't even finished, there were people who placed orders without even asking the price, just by explaining the concept. Once completed, it will be faster to get out and take off extremely quickly. We found the XTR-FX for Nishii's custom-ordered personal board, "COUCH POTATO"! Here we found the 5'3" XTR-FX stockboard from COUCH POTATO ! You can pre-order before it arrives! The 5'3" " COUCH POTATO" XTR-FX stockboard is We are currently masking the outside of the square carbon rail to add a black pin line. As you can see, the XTR board goes through many steps to complete, which takes a lot of time and effort. It is a valuable board that is produced in extremely small quantities compared to POLY. All the boards lined up are custom-ordered by customers from Japan. In addition to the "XTR-FX," we also receive custom orders for the ever-popular "XTR V-FLEX." What is this sea urchin-like thing that Habiya showed me? Nishii is pointing at the foam-cutting teeth of the cutting machine, which has a black square brush attached. It is located inside the tool and this head moves to cut the XTR blanks (foam). On the work table where the XTR glass lamination was being done today, the owner of G-SLASH, a LOST surfboard store in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, There was Nomata's SUB-SCORCHER II . It's almost finished! The leash plug is also attached during the lamination process. The "TUNED FOR JAPAN" mark is also included as proof of official import. The XTR-FX board features cool, ultra-thin black stringers that are specially ordered from a stringer company and dyed black. This time we introduced We are now accepting reservations for the COUCH POTATO model XTR-FX board. All pre-made sizes will be available in December, so if you want to ride it first, please call 03-3732-5532. Or click here https://www.luvsurf.co.jp/contact.html Please contact us and say, "I would like to reserve the COUCH POTATO XTR-FX board before it arrives." While teaching his son how to make wax, he sneaks into the secret "FU WAX" CA factory!

In order to teach the latest manufacturing method of FU WAX to my son GUI, 21 years old, who is studying abroad in California from Brazil, He came all the way from Brazil to San Clemente. FUAD from "FU WAX" We teach the manufacturing method, We sneaked into a secret factory. Compared to the round ones sold in Japan, Apparently it's easier to make them by putting them in a long, narrow mold, cutting them into squares like this, and wrapping them in paper labels. Shaw previously worked at a sushi restaurant called 9 Styles in San Clemente. During the dinner meeting, I snapped off the FU WAX and explained that if you do it like this, you can immediately tell it's FU WAX. He told me that if you press FU WAX repeatedly with your finger and then release it, it will produce a string of smoke. This is because SEXWAX contains the same ingredients, so it does produce smoke, but the amount is nothing compared to FUWAX. By chance, Dane Dacaskas and his group were in the store and saw us holding a box of FUWAX. "Why do you have so many FUWAX products?" he asked me, When I told him, "This is FU-san," he was surprised. FU and GUI shared some of the FU WAX they had just made with Dane, who was very happy. FU, who will return to Brazil the day after tomorrow, said that when he came to California in 1970, there were not many people, let alone houses, around San Clemente. She immediately went to Hawaii because it was a lonely place, but she said she's having fun as a flight attendant now and doesn't want to go back to Brazil yet. FU's upbringing and other private matters, I was able to hear in detail about FU WAX's past and present, and I have become an even bigger fan of the band. You can purchase this high-performance "FU WAX" here! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/11847/ ▼For more detailed information, please see the 24'S BLOG here. What is the recommended model to use with the AUROLA "WARd 5" fins?

The waves have been small for the past few days. The set only has this much wave size, LOWER is so small that SUPs that are not usually found there appear. With the waves like that, Nishii has been enjoying small wave surfing with this 5'2" COUCH POTATO model for the past few days. The Couch has good maneuverability and rotation in small waves, and even in small waves, it can be used to its advantage by staying tight and inside. Because it can turn, this couch is better suited to knee-high waves than the LAYZ POTATO model, which is designed for larger waves. I'm feeling good. The fins used are AUROLA 'WARd 5' fins . As shown in this photo, I tried attaching a quad rear fin to the center fin, In this case, the fins are small and the turn extension is small, The QUAD setting gives a more extended turn, which Nishii prefers. The AUROLA "WARd 5" fin is a slightly thinner fin form compared to the G5, but it is long and curved backward, These fins have good grip when turning and are thin, so they don't make the board move too slowly. For small waves, use the QUAD setting. For waves over shoulder height, Try attaching a small center fin and surfing with five fins, as it works well. AUROLA "WARd 5" fins are These models are particularly well suited to this product, so please give it a try. LOST "COUCH POTATO" LOST "LAYZ POTATO" LOST "RNF-EVOLUTION" LOST "ORCA" Placebo "FISHQUEST II" Placebo "LAYZ ORCA" Placebo 『RNF-EVOLUTION』 We recommend installing this on models with less rocker and a wider tail. The waves are small so I managed to get a few surfers in, and today I'm doing some desk work on my LOST surfboard. This is the inside of the Luvsurf USA INC office located inside LOST Surfboards. Team rider Tadashi Kobayashi works as a staff member. Dagascus broke his leg in Akamata, Okinawa the other day and appeared in a cast. I came to pick up the MR TWIN board, which LOST is in charge of selling in the USA. The board racks at the LOST surfboard warehouse can store approximately 2,500 boards. Inside (in the foreground) are lined up boards to be sent to Love Surf. Posted by Luvsurf .

My son Gee taught me how to apply the FU family secret FU wax.

Today, 11/11 (Mon) in CALIFORNIA, It was a holiday called Veterans Day , a day to honor veterans . With FUAD from FU WAX, who came to San Clemente from Brazil I invited GUI and we went surfing at Trestles with small waves. When something happened to FUAD in California last week, There will be no one left who can make FU WAX, I taught my son GUI how to make it so that he could test use the FU WAX that he had produced. Apparently they made about 1,200 of them, but FUAD didn't approve any of them for sale. Apparently only about 200 were made towards the end. Nishii immediately used his favorite WAX BUDDY scraper to remove the old FU WAX. GUI-kun taught me the FU family's secret method of applying wax. When you apply both the base wax and the top coat wax in a cold, hard state, It can be applied in thin layers so that it can be applied thinly and without waste. After that, even if you apply it flat, there are recessed areas where you cannot apply wax. To avoid leaving any areas unpainted, carefully apply the paint to the corners and recessed areas in several thin layers. "You'll be able to apply FU WAX smoothly," he said, demonstrating the correct way to apply it in the FU household. Nishii's 5'2" COUCH POTATO finished with a TOP COAT/COOL. FUAD-san, you haven't been in the ocean for the past few weeks because you've been teaching your son how to make FU WAX. He was cruising on a longboard, looking very happy. He's really good. I'm riding the waves hard. FU WAX is also popular among longboarders. The long board that my son GUI was riding in the small waves today was, This is a FUAD model shaped by MIKE DORA in 1957. Gee-kun hands out FUWAX samples to the kids nearby. FU WAX's high performance and popularity, which is not sold anywhere else, are well-known in CA. The kids jumped up and down in delight, exclaiming, "Oh, FUWAX!!!" FUAD and GUI asked why FU WAX can't be made by other wax manufacturers. I was able to hear about the complicated recipe. The secret lies in the amount of ingredients, the order, and the temperature at which they are mixed. Apparently, this is because it is a complex formula that is very difficult to imitate. You can purchase FU WAX here! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/11847/ ▼For more detailed information, please see the 24'S BLOG here.
