Luvsurf TV:LOST “F1-STUB” Koji Nishii
Luvsurf TV:LOST “F1-STUB” Koji Nishii Rider: Koji Nishii Board used: LOST MAYHEM 5'9" "F1-STUB" FILM: Hidekaze Suma EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM This is a riding video of the ARCTIC Color Form "F1-STUB" model. The F1-STUB model is currently the most popular of Mayhem's standard high-performance tri-fin boards. The single concave design on the bottom and gentle tail rocker are well integrated with the tail shape, making this a board that is highly maneuverable and responsive to the rider's intentions. It has the ability to run well even in thick, slow waves where the waves don't dig in very well. Especially, it is easy to perform TOP action and high point ride is not only for competition but also for other purposes. It is designed to be enjoyed during free surfing. If you are aiming to become a surfer who emphasizes vertical movement, you should definitely try this MAYHEM riders' board. Try out the "F1-STUB" model, which continues to evolve thanks to extensive feedback. [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/54263265[/vimeo]
Learn moreWhy? We will explain why we recommend "AUROLA FIN".
Why Love Surf? I will explain why I recommend "AUROLA FIN". When you purchase a LOST or Placebo surfboard, the following items are included: This is a genuine FCS GMB (G Matt Biolos) fin with the MAYHEM logo printed on it. This GMB fin falls into the large fin group, labeled "L" on the FCS fin size chart. Therefore, it is generally designed for large waves, and is best used in waves of overhead size or larger that require large drive turns. The fact that a large area is in the water also gives the board a sense of stability, so beginners are recommended to use this fin even in small waves, as it helps to prevent the board from wobbling when paddling or taking off. However, for intermediate level surfers who want to perfect and practice lip action or move the board more, the large "L" fins are too large and feel heavy and slow. Therefore, we recommend using fins with a smaller surface area than the included GMB fins. As for what kind of fins are best, I recommend the lightweight, high-performance ``AUROLA FIN'' fins that I will introduce below. Now, please take a look at the comparison photos of the AUROLA FIN series with GMB fins. Top right: CHARGER fins have a narrow base and a low height. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/item_detail/itemId,1002/ Bottom right: The TRIPLE RAZER fin has a slightly narrower base and a shorter height. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/item_detail/itemId,178/ Top right: BAMBOO's side fins have a narrow base and a low height. Bottom right: BAMBOO's center fin is a small fin with a very narrow base and a very low height. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/item_detail/itemId,697/ Top right: The side fins of the CARBON 5 have almost the same base, but are slightly lower in height. Bottom right: When used as a CARBON 5 QUAD set, the back fins have a very narrow base and are very short in height. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/item_detail/itemId,1657/ Top right: When used in the FLEX-FIVE QUAD set, the back fins have a narrow base, a low height, and are small. Bottom right: The FLEX-FIVE side fins have a slightly thinner base and are slightly lower in height. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/item_detail/itemId,696/ The 4.7 MFF side fins are The base is almost the same, but the height is slightly lower, the tip is shorter, and the center is narrower. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/item_detail/itemId,181/ The 4.5 MFF side fins are It has a very thin base, a low height, a very thin tip, and a slightly narrower center. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/item_detail/itemId,180/ As you can see, no matter which fin is compared, it is smaller than the GMB, and there is a difference in the size of the fin area. The "AUROLA FIN" series is suitable for everyday waves in Japan, and just by changing the fins, * The board moves more easily *Easy board control *Improved technique sharpness Because of this effect, we recommend using the included GMB fins for larger waves. We recommend using the smaller ``AUROLA FIN'', which is more suitable for the wave conditions in Japan and the size of the waves you usually see. With the "AUROLA FIN" series, you can change the fins without any problems. Try installing AUROLA fins and improve the performance of your favorite surfboard.

Learn moreUpdated to FLEXLITE-TURBO specifications by MAYHEM!
Yesterday, the last shipment of Placebo stock boards of the year arrived. Among them, there is only this one model, Placebo's revival model has been updated to FLEXLITE-TURBO specifications by MAYHEM and is now in stock! This model was discontinued in the Presto FLEXLITE specification. We have received many inquiries from unique surfers. The revival version of the surf skate model FLEXLITE-TURBO has arrived. We will announce it on the 24'S blog first! We only have 10 in stock: 5 4'10" and 5 5'0". Very! Very! Very! Only a small number of these have arrived, making them an extremely rare and highly prized model. This surf skate model is difficult to find even in the second-hand market. Don't miss this opportunity! Skateboarding on waves... This is a category we're introducing for the first time in the world. Surfskates allow you to perform skateboard-style tricks and rail surf the wave. The low rocker gives the board instant acceleration upon takeoff, giving it the speed to easily execute tricks. The symmetrical nose and tail provide increased control when landing nose-first in reverse, increasing the potential for fakie, reverse, and subsequent tricks. The extremely short length allows for tight, vertical turns and the ability to turn hard, even in small waves. The deep concave between the fins evacuates water from the tail after a trick, providing speed and stability. The rail concave carved into the deck not only makes grabs easier, but also allows for more reliable flip tricks. It's also capable of performing tricks in small, shallow waves, transforming knee-to-waist wave sessions into a blast of fun. Designed by Rick Rock with input and feedback from development rider Josh Slay, Mayhem has updated the FLEXLTE-TURBO version to create the ultimate surfboard/skateboard. Josh has already landed countless skate tricks on this board in the waves. The possibilities are endless with these Surfskates. Retro fish are a thing of the past, but the boards of the future are here. Placebo “SURF SKATE” FLEXLITE-TURBO/FCS/3FINS ¥128,000 tax included *Sizes were corrected on November 5, 2012. Learn moreLOWERS size up for a video shoot session!
Today's LOWERS. The waves at LOWERS, which had good quality yesterday, have gotten even bigger. So it's time for a video shoot session! The board Nishii uses is the LOST ``F1-STUB'' model. Nishii's riding was photographed by Murasaki Sports rider Hidekazu. He came yesterday as well and is a good surfer who only rides for a short time and then calls it a day. Of course, the most popular and most commonly seen surfboard in San Clemente is LOST surfboards. Hidekazu-san, Kei-kun, who is off school, His father, Masaki, also appeared in "SUB-DRIVER" LOST's exclusive videographer, Noah, also joined in the video shoot session! The waves are good so it's crowded today. This is Bethany Hamilton. Nishii arrived at LOWERS beach by bicycle at 9am, and on the way there he passed her and exchanged greetings. It gets light around 6 o'clock, so I thought she had already finished one round, but when Nishii finished her round and got out of the water, she walked back to the beach and started surfing again. I was impressed by how hard she was working given her handicap. Nishii also filmed the people who participated in the video shooting session. The waves were good today so we were able to get some great footage!
Learn moreOrder a "DRIVER" tint color stock board!
Today at LOST Surfboards, We'll start writing lots of stock boards on the order form! USA staff member SHAW not only manages Luvsurf USA boards, but also the boards at LOST headquarters. The "WHIPLASH-TB" model has also been gaining a lot of popularity recently! Julian's board. This board will be on display in Love Surf around the end of October. The orange and blue are tint colors that are mixed into resin and then glass laminated like this. This is a newly completed point nose, but it has plenty of buoyancy and is safe for even heavy riders. These are two custom-order boards of the popular "SUB-DRIVER-JP" model, a high-performance board sold exclusively in Japan. I ordered a tint color design stock board for the "DRIVER" model, combining these colors. It has a resin color design, but it will be lightweight. West swells have started to come in and the waves are getting bigger at LOWERS Nishii test rode the "DRIVER" model and felt a comfortable sense of buoyancy even at 5'9". The outline is basic, but the unique MAYHEM shape gives it a cool look. The "DRIVER" has excellent buoyancy and runs very well! This model is also popular and we have received many inquiries.

Luvsurf TV:Placebo 5'8"『FISHQUEST 2』Hiroki Shirakawa Rider: Hiroki Shirakawa Board used: Placebo "FISHQUEST 2" FLEXLITE-TURBO FILM: Kouji Nishii EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM Love Surf team rider Hiroki Shirakawa, who previously rode a 5'6" size, recently tried out the 5'8" size for a test ride and says that the FISHQUEST2 runs better with the 5'8" size. The bottom is equipped with a Babeld edge and a VEE bottom that is about 1/4 longer than the tail end. And now, many surf brands, such as Samsung, both domestically and internationally, have copied the design, which is an original Mayhem design. This is because the elevator wing effect allows the buoyant board to move and be controlled with ease. The FQ2 is an easy board that allows you to bring out the best in its performance when ridden with great buoyancy. It has a fast takeoff time, so you have plenty of time to take off, turn 360 degrees, and then start running. The lip will also rise at a sharp angle if you step on the tail! I was always in the crowds, riding the wrong board and not being able to catch a wave. Even if you catch a wave, many people have trouble with their board stalling and shortening their riding distance. The FQ2 is a recommended model for those who want to enjoy surfing with the help of buoyancy. Now, let's take a look at riding FISHQUEST 2, where you can see the incredibly fast takeoff and extended turns! Luvsurf TV:Placebo 5'8"『FISHQUEST 2』Hiroki Shirakawa from Luvsurf TV on Vimeo .
