Located in the sports complex "Sporu Shinagawa," City Wave Tokyo I brought along "MAYHEM". There's a reason why I brought so many boards. For the development of the board for "City Wave Tokyo", The purpose is to have MAYHEM experience the waves here and design a board for them. We rented out "City Wave Tokyo" and prepared the first "MAYHEM" so that it could ride about three normal sessions. We had them try out various models and boards with different CL values, and had them ride them in order to develop a dedicated board. After the session, he said that the waves here are more like snowboarding than surfing. MAYHEM, who is good at snowboarding, surfed very well for his first time, I'm getting more and more excited to see what kind of designs MAYHEM will come up with! The theme was a competition in which three Japanese shapers would copy and shape Kanoa Igarashi's surfboard to see who could do it most accurately. A shaping contest was held (MAYHEM did not participate). The judges were three foreign shapers who had come to Japan to decide the winner. When the three were judging in the shaping room, they burst into the shaping room and attacked the three foreign shapers. He got a laugh by saying, "How can you guys judge if you don't even have a high performance board shape?" Recently, he was in the AM at the WSL/QS1000 and beat the previous JPSA champions, heating up the event. Anon-chan, who has become famous, also came to the event.
