Nishii held an event at Perfect Swell Shizunami in Shizunami City, Shizuoka Prefecture on Sunday, May 5th. This event is designed to help you improve your surfing by surfing in the WAVE pool and receiving one hour of coaching from Nishii. It's only 1,100 yen more expensive than the usual 8,800 yen, but not only do you get coaching for each ride, you also get to ride a LOST & PLACEBO test board. You can receive a non-sale original Love Surf quick dry beach towel and FU WAX wax as a participation prize, and you can also custom order a LOST surfboard with the 22,000 yen order fee waived. It was a very meaningful event for the participants. As soon as we announced that we would be holding this event in early April, reservations filled up almost immediately. After that, we received many inquiries from people who wanted to participate, but since the capacity had already been reached, If you were unable to attend this time, please join us next time. Thank you to everyone who ordered custom surfboards after this session! We are so grateful to everyone who rode our test boards and came back to our store to buy them later! On this day, each person was able to catch nine easy intermediate waves in an hour, but everyone was clearly better on the ninth wave than on the first, so Nishii also coached for the first time in a while. It was so much fun coaching everyone as they improved that the four sessions flew by.
