Nishii started using the Norwegian brand Db's travel and backpack in February 2016. At the time, Db did not have any surfboard cases. (Nishi's surfboard cases are Dakine.) Nishii's favorite travel bag, "Db," features a lightweight ABS resin side rib structure called "Rib Cage Technology." It is strong and can be stored compactly when not in use, making it suitable for Japanese housing conditions. We also wanted them to make a surfboard case that has the patented hook-up system that allows you to connect the case and bag, which is unique to "Db." I told my childhood friend and fellow surf trip buddy, Fukushima Haruyuki, the representative of "Db" Japan.
