Hello, I'm Kohei, a staff member. I've been interested in the PLACEBO 5'8" RAD DIABLO for a while now, so I've been riding it and would like to share my impressions with you! I got on at Chitose Point in the southern Chiba area. The wave conditions were thigh to waist high with sets up close to the chest, the wind direction was unstable but weak throughout the day and the surface was relatively good, but there were many early waves that were a bit damper, so at best the conditions were good for short rides. The PLACEBO 5'8" RAD DIABLO used by a 168cm, 62kg board is 27.5cl, while the all-round model I normally use is around 28cl, so the CL value is relatively low. However, the PLACEBO uses the one-of-a-kind FLEXLITE technology, which gives the board a feeling of buoyancy greater than the CL value, resulting in greater stability and faster paddling than usual. Everyone is curious about the speed of takeoff... I was surprised in a good way! PLACEBO's ``RAD DIABLO'' is based on LOST's ``RAD RIPPER,'' so it's extremely fast!
