A model called "EVIL TWIN" will be released in the US in 2019, but it was designed with a large size aimed at US surfers, so Nishii immediately asked Mayhem to tune the shape design to suit Japanese specifications and make it easier to ride in Japanese waves. This is a model that will be sold exclusively in Japan! We have made it so that the average Japanese surfer can easily ride the waves that are common in Japan and have fun surfing. Recently, early on a Sunday morning, Nishii went surfing for the first time in a while at Shintsutsumi Point on Katakai Beach in northern Chiba. As you know, the waves were Katakai's usual weak, gently sloping, thick waves, but it was precisely because of these conditions that the C4 allowed him to gain speed with every hop, clearly demonstrating the difference in board performance. After finishing his ride and heading out to sea to wait for the waves, someone nearby who was watching him ask, "How can you get so much speed?" Since the waves were such that he couldn't gain speed without a C4, he honestly answered, "It's the difference in board performance." The C4 is durable yet with a cork suspension that makes it glide across the water as lightly as a butterfly! Mayhem is a board that combines high performance and durability, and development began in late 2016, when this photo was taken, and it was completed after repeated fine-tuning. (You can see the C4 on the monitor.) The C4 gets up to speed quickly, maintains that speed, and even rips like a big-tournament entry. When you're flying through the waves and you set the rail and release, The board explodes beneath your feet and shoots off. The C4 is so strong that there is no comparison with other boards when it comes to deck strength. Even if your front foot somehow slips off the board and the impact causes your knee to hit the deck directly, it is very unlikely that the deck will be dented. "About the finally released C4" This surfboard technology, just released by LOST Surfboards, is called C4. This ultimate strength and unique surfboard technology It was developed by an epoxy range scientist in Florida named Drew Baggett. Matt Mayhem of Lost Surfboards wanted to use this C4 technology in Lost surfboards, so he partnered with Drew Baggett to bring this amazing, advanced design to market. A 1.5mm thick cork sheet is installed over the entire deck surface on top of the foam. So there is always a cork sheet wherever the surfer's feet rest. The cork sheet is coated with a dazzling "Sparkle White Paint." The cork is only visible through the carbon stringer lines in the center of the deck and the carbon patch panels on both tails, but the cork sheet covers the entire deck. C4 has two main purposes. For strength , the deck is made stronger than any other surfboard with a cork sheet. For performance reasons , it reduces deceleration caused by unnecessary vibrations while riding. What does C4 mean? It is an abbreviation for Carbon, Cork, Composite, and Creations.
