Must-see!! LOST 『V3-STEALTH』Explanatory video by the designer himself, “MAYHEM”

LOST 『 V3-STEALTH 』Explanatory video by the designer himself, “MAYHEM” FILM: Michal Van Mierlo EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM The V3-STEALTH was inspired by the Rocket model, so it also inherits the rocket tail. The V3-STEALTH was created because surfers who had been riding the Rocket model series since the beginning wanted to combine it with the nose of a high-performance board. The outline has been extended to incorporate the nose design of a high performance board, and the rocker has been gently applied only to the nose, eliminating the flat feel of the board rocker of the Rocket model. The "V2 Rocket" and "V3 Rocket" from the rocket model series are very popular and have sold very well. The "V3 Rocket" model combined a double wing and a rocket tail. It's one of the top four Lost Surfboards of all time, and many WQS surfers wanted to combine the performance of the V3 Rocket with the nose capabilities of the latest high-performance boards. So with the V3-STEALTH , we basically added rocker and length to the nose of the V3 Rocket. As you can see, it's probably a rocker similar to the performance board. You can also choose the option of the channel bottom that I developed. A lot of surfers have asked me about the channel and talked to me about it, I thought the timing was good. Then I shaped a few and the surfers in the channel loved it. I shaped a few more and felt that this was something that should be released as a new model. I shaped a lot of channel bottoms in the '80s and '90s, and back then the channels were parallel to the stringers and at right angles. Yes, the old channels were deep, square cuts, and all four were parallel to the stringers. In my modern design, I first decide on the position of the fins, The channels are angled radially, rather than parallel to the stringers. So the R4 channel on the Rost has the outer channel parallel to the front fin and the inner channel parallel to the back of the quad fin, and the channel lines are radiating out and wide into the tail. The angle of this channel makes pumping for acceleration efficient whether using 3 or 4 fins. The R4 channel is more responsive, quicker and has better turning ability than conventional channels. The usual channels that were popular in the 90s were simply good for straight-line speed, but this R4 channel is something completely different. I learned a lot from the old Channel Bottom. Another thing I want to mention about the R4 channel is that the channel grooves are gradually deepened little by little. The channel that started from zero is deepest at the tail outlet. It's not carved deep, but has a gentle curve. Deeply carved channels tend to create hollow areas that cause the tail to lift too much. It will repel the tail rocker. So the R4 channel has a subtle, gradual curve that leads to the tail outlet. It will be available to all team riders, Already top surfers from Kolohe and Carissa are loving it. This also looks great in combination with the V3-STEALTH carbon wrap! [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/214956939[/vimeo]

Must-see!! LOST Japan-exclusive model "ALIEN" explanatory video by the designer himself, "MAYHEM"

LOST Japan Limited Edition "ALIEN" Designer "MAYHEM" Commentary Video FILM: Michal Van Mierlo EDIT: ETABRIGADE FILM This is the "Alien" model, a limited edition model sold only in Japan. This model was created by Lay's Potato, a company popular with many surfers, and features a flat rocker with little nose or tail rocker. Rather than a strong rocker/concave combination, this board's concave is flat to V-bottom, meaning there's a V or slope across almost the entire bottom. The nose is flat, but this V-bottom design allows for easy turning even on a flat board with no rocker. It's a fairly wide design, but the V-bottom concave allows the board to lean and naturally initiate turns. Basically, this model is the second generation of the Lay's Potato, and Nishii's ideas are incorporated into it. Instead of a round nose, it has a pointed nose, making it a hybrid board style. And the tail outline has a sharp angle. It's a fairly deep double wing. By narrowing the area that penetrates the water surface, it becomes easier to control. It features an R2 channel that increases water flow, combined with a unique rocket tail. This combination keeps the rear foot in contact with the water, creating a riding feel that is different from the sliding and cruising feel of a skateboard. It gives you more control and more powerful turns. The R2 channel has a rocker effect. This model has a flat rocker, but the R2 channel itself has a slope and curve. However, the acceleration and turn extension are good because the center of the board is a straight line. Most surfers recommend a 4-fin setup for this model, as I think the flat rocker and V-bottom design tends to work better with a 4-fin setup, but for powerful surfers with strong legs, a 3-fin setup would also be good. And it comes standard with a grab rail. The grab rail also lightens the nose area, making the board even faster. Even with a big board, you can grip the rail firmly, making dolphin-throughs much easier. The flat rocker design makes it very easy to catch waves, and it's agile and quick to ride through even slack waves. And it's a great match with deep double wins! This is what Aliens is all about! https://vimeo.com/215119297

*Must-watch! PLACEBO 『FLEXLITE-LIMITED』 designer himself, “MAYHEM” explains the video

We are pleased to announce that an explanatory video by MAYHEM, the designer of PLACEBO's "FLEXLITE-LIMITED," has been released. This is a placebo made with new materials called "Flexlite Limited." As you can see, the entire top is glassed with "Texalium," a carbon-look fiberglass. The fiberglass of this "Texalium" is not oriented 90 degrees to the board, It is mounted at a 45-degree angle. This direction creates a great flex. So it's not going to be as stiff as the regular carbon that we're all familiar with. The deck surface is completely covered in Texalium, placed at a 45-degree angle to create a slightly faded look, and the surface is given a beautiful gloss finish. The deck surface is a gradation of metallic silver and gray from the nose to the tail. The lightweight glassing has been adjusted to maximize the balance between Texalium's performance and strength. That's why it's so light. This material is very expensive. It's like a Lamborghini surfboard. Everything about it is beautiful and it's a special limited edition surfboard made with special materials. The Flexlite Limited also has a carbon band in the center of the bottom where the front feet rest. This is because it is the area where the surfer's weight is most concentrated. The bottom surface has a matte sanded finish. It's the same as traditional handmade glass style. The "Texalium" on the entire top surface provides excellent strength and shocking high-performance flex. Similarly, you can think of it as being based on the idea of the LOST Black Dirt, which has carbon cross glass covering the entire deck. With its high flex performance, it is an exciting surfboard like no other. It has great acceleration, quick response, is lightweight, strong, and looks great. It's a board that looks like a luxury Ferrari, something you'll want to show off to everyone. This limited edition special edition board will only be released by LAS OLAS, the exclusive distributor in Japan. So, it's a must-see! LOST "PUDDLE FISH-JP" . This person wanted to ride a board like a PUDDLE JUMPER, We had them try out the latest version of this concept, the "PUDDLE FISH-JP ." I thought the board size might be too big, but it worked. I was surprised that I could take off faster than the people around me. This is an amazing board! At last year's test ride event, LOST's "PUDDLE JUMPER" was popular, This year, we have a new model from LOST, " PUDDLE FISH-JP" ! Customers who purchased "PUDDLE FISH-JP" at Love Surf also You won't want to ride any other board. Some people are saying that "PUDDLE FISH-JP" is doing well! PLACEBO " EL-DIABLO PLUS " FLEXLITE-HYPER. The waves were small, so I took off on the largest size 6'2" and went to the inside as fast as a long board. They enjoyed the long ride. LOST Carbon Wrap is a new material that many manufacturers are currently selling, with EPS foam boards being released, and many of them are based on LOST's carbon wrap. LOST Carbon Wrap is so theoretical that it has been patented. This structure gives the surfboard the ideal flex. Other manufacturers use two carbon fibers, At first glance, it looks similar, but I don't think it has a structure or performance that surpasses LOST Carbon Wrap. LOST Carbon Wrap This is a new material board that surpasses previous EPS materials and is so high-performance and reliable that it is even used in WSL and WQS competitions. I'm Natsuki PRO, a regular user of the "SURF GRASS MAT." I'm changing into the large-size ``SURF GRASS MAT'' that someone asked me to lend to them. This woman brought her own board "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" and He participated in the test ride to decide which new board he would like to ride next. Nishii recommends FU WAX to those who test ride the board. We taught everyone how to apply the paint to get the best grip. "FU WAX" provides a grip that anyone can experience, I could see that a lot more people have started using it than last year. If you have used it once and are worried about other waxes, or if you have not yet experienced the difference in grip performance, Please try using "FU WAX" ! The waves were knee-high, so I chose a model that is designed with an emphasis on take-off performance. For beginners to intermediate level LOST 『 DOS-DIABLO 』 『SUPER DIABLO』 PLACEBO " EL-DIABLO PLUS " and " GOBLIN " are the four models. For intermediate to advanced level students, LOST 's "V3-STEALTH" CARBON WRAP was the most popular. We exhibited three booths: "FU WAX", "LOST", and "PLACEBO". It was a busy day! To everyone who came to the test drive event and the organizing staff, Thanks to all the manufacturers involved! "LOST Surfboard Order Fair is now on! Today, April 23rd (Sunday) is the last day! Must see! A video explaining the "FLEXLITE-HYPER" by the designer himself, "MAYHEM" has been released!

This is the latest version of the Precevo surfboard designed for Japanese people. Of course, just like the LOST surfboard, it was designed by me. The latest version is made with reinforced carbon and a unique structure. It's called Flex Hyper . This year, we have further adjusted the Presebo surfboard from last year, The carbon band is wider than before. Two carbon bands that have been improved based on the experience gained from carbon wraps over the past few years. The distance is narrow in the nose area and widens towards the tail. If the distance between the two carbons is small, the board tends to be stiff, It works really well with the thin nose area. So it has excellent acceleration from nose to center, The carbon spacing is narrow, which means it has high rebound and explosive power. And as you move towards the tail, the flex performance increases. The carbon gradually becomes thinner towards the fin, sharpening the surface area. So the fin area, the back foot area, has more flex. The area that your chest touches when paddling is also the position of your front legs, This area has high repulsion and excellent acceleration. It's not that the movement becomes stiff or it becomes difficult to ride, Flex Hyper kicks the tail in when turning. It has a flex structure that springs up and accelerates. This flex structure uses two simple carbon bands that taper towards the fins. This carbon band performance is combined with the "Flexlite" technology that has been proven in Precebo surfboards for many years. It is lightweight, white, beautiful, strong, and almost indestructible. Even when it becomes a used board, the value does not decrease and the flex performance lasts for a long time, There's a positive added value. It's fun to surf, you can rip spectacularly in both small and rough waves, and it never loses its appearance or performance. If you buy this Flex Hyper , it will be easy to sell because its value will hardly decrease even after driving it for a few years. That's the newly evolved Presebo surfboard "Flex Hyper" ! So, check out the must-see explanatory video below! https://vimeo.com/213199881
