LOST&PLACEBO Surfboards' final day was a huge success! "Interstyle Yokohama 2015"
Today was the last day of "Interstyle." A lot of people came to visit us today! By the third day, you will be able to explain the board in more detail. We provide detailed explanations of the features and shape design of each model. Everyone was checking out the LOST surf skate too. FLEXLITE-BOOST has more rebound than TURBO They were able to experience it for themselves. When you put your whole body weight on it and bend it, it will be in front of the vaulting box. The person riding on it bounces up and down like on a springboard (a reuter-type railroad crossing board). LOST is also popular, with the new 4 models receiving the most attention. I received a lot of interviews from all walks of life. Some people found one day not enough and came for two days! I took a commemorative photo with Mayhem yesterday. The number of visitors to the LOST & PLACEBO special business meeting room has increased significantly compared to last year. It looks like it will be very popular again this year. I thought the standard performance form of the V2-SB might be too much for a beginner/intermediate surfer in his fifties, so I chose the 5'9" with 24.5cl for a slightly oversized buoyancy. For the first few rounds, I was a bit confused by the extra buoyancy, but I was surprised by the quick takeoff and maneuverability! Unless the waves were really thick and slow, I could enjoy surfing from knee-high to head-high with just this one board, and even during the summer small wave season, I ended up using my small wave board much less often. To be honest, I'm not the best at boarding, but the V2-SB's competition-style form is easy to handle... just like Mayhem. It's definitely a magic board! I was switching from a funboard and was a bit worried about the short length, but I think I've improved a bit thanks to the wide nose and super buoyancy. With a funboard, I could only go straight after taking off, but since I started using the LAYZ ORCA, I can now go a little to the side. Today I visited the Surfing Life magazine studio. This is to photograph the new PLACEBO surfboard. In total, I brought 19 boards into the studio. It takes time to set up the lights for each shot. The new FLEXLITE name is being revealed for the first time to those who are reading this blog! The photographer is the popular photographer Kenyu. One model's dimensions are 5'10"! To prevent reflections on the level used for photographing the concave Kenyu is as expected, taping up and blacking out his equipment.
