Check out the photos that weren't published in the Eastern Taiwan Surf Trip magazine!

"Announcement to everyone" I introduced this video yesterday on my blog, featuring Nishii and Masato from Surf Trip magazine, and I would like everyone in Eastern Taiwan to see it. We have received many complaints that even if you enter the hybrid code for watching videos, you cannot watch the videos. When we checked with STJ magazine, we discovered that the video had not yet been uploaded due to an encoding error, meaning that no one could view it. According to STJ magazine, the system used is provided by NTT, and the problem is on NTT's side. It is expected to be available to view tomorrow, Monday, January 26th, so please wait a little longer. Today, we would like to show you some photos taken by photographer Kenyu of Eastern Taiwan that were not published in the STJ magazine. The surf shop where I was staying was called 5 Surf. Part 5: Dining at the surf Masato arrives in Taitung It's a propeller plane. This is Nishii after surfing the afternoon of the day we arrived. This is the wave in the afternoon of the first day. When you see waves like this, you'll want to surf right away! After the session, we walked back to the beach, which was covered with driftwood. The two of them are having a conversation offshore. This is a shot that was a candidate for a PLACEBO ad. This is a photo that is typical of photographer Kenyou, with beautiful backlighting. Nishii has paddled a total of 360km since he started using it last year!

Nishii returned from Mexico last night to California, where he is having a three-day weekend starting today. I surfed the upper reaches of Trestles. The tide had gone out since I was checking the waves, and they had gotten smaller. I took the NEW-BUGGY for the first time in conditions similar to those in Japan. Photographer Masuda continues to accompany us closely from Mexico. This is the NEW BUGGY, which allows Mayhem to set quad fins. So, of course, the fins are set to QUAD. I also record it on my GPS surf watch. Nishii has paddled a total of 360km since he started using it last year! It's amazing that something like this is on the record. If you haven't used it yet, please start using it as soon as possible. You'll have more fun after each session. It will still record even if you tuck it inside the sleeve of your full suit instead of on top. I'll try riding the NEW-BUGGY again tomorrow! Posted by Luvsurf .

Report from the LOST factory! Mayhem has a policy of not wanting to put out boards that are not in good condition.

Today's waves at LOWERS. The surfer on the left is a kid, so it looks like a big wave, but it was actually a small, waist-high wave. Nishii records every wave with his GPS surf watch. LOST Surfboard Factory. The second AKU machine installed at LOST is steadily cutting the foam. Mayhem is looking at the boards waiting to be transported to the glass factory. These are the boards for the Interstyle Show in Japan in February! LOST 2015 traction pads. I checked out Mayhem and the final design. From all black to small flashy to large flashy, narrow to wide, The colors and designs are available to suit a variety of needs depending on your board! This is the "best" for surfboards with LOST and PLACEBO's MAYHEM shape design! With this, other brands are a mismatch! Mayhem was away for two weeks at an exhibition in Long Beach, Florida. I brought about 20 boards that I had completed two weeks ago back to the shaping room. I made some more adjustments. Apparently the details of the rails are of interest. As always, I don't want to put out a board that's not working properly, so I won't compromise on this point. This is a delivery van for Inasher Glass Shop, with three bunk beds. It is covered with a soft sponge that is gentle on the foam. I also found this awesome board! This is Mayhem's personal board. White Mayhem LOGO, red board and dark board, This arrangement, combined with the LOST mark, is also popular among flight attendants! Posted by Luvsurf .

If you are considering the LOST "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" model, please take a look at the side view.

Nishii joined "CALIFORNIA" last night! I immediately went to LOWER to surf, and the waves were waist-high. There were few waves and the wave information was 2-3 feet, so some people in CA said it was flat. The waves were small so it was empty. However, the 2014 US Open champion, Flipe Traid, and his friends were filming and we got to see some amazing surfing. The board Nishii rode was the LOST CONQUEST EL-DIABLO EFC by HydroFlex, available in CALIFORNIA. If you are considering the LOST "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" model , please take a look at the side view. You can see that the board has rocker in the nose and tail. As Mayhem says on the model introduction page , from the front fin to the tail, The rocker is slightly stronger so that the board can be turned easily around the tail. The rocker design has been adjusted. Notice how the board is thick in the center but thin in the nose and tail. The hind legs always end up on the wing, The width from the wing to the tail is narrow. This width makes the board easy to maneuver. The key to the design is the squash tail width, which is the same as a regular high-performance board. This rocker and tail shape prevent the board from moving like a fish board. The other day, I had the Kimmies Okuyama couple, who came from Japan for work, ride this board. When he first picked it up, he was worried that it was thick and wide, and wondered if it would move or if it would be okay. From the first run, the takeoff was quick, and it was moving so fast that it was in good condition. I received some feedback! Freepe said, "That's a really fast board!" The paddle is moving so well that it's like giving up the wave. After all, the LOST "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" model is the best for older guys to beat the younger guys. Posted by Luvsurf .

New Luvsurf TV: LOST 『CONQUEST EL-DIABLO』Koji Nishii Koji Nishii

Luvsurf TV: LOST "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" Koji Nishii Rider: Koji Nishii Board used: LOST 5'7" CONQUEST EL-DIABLO HydroFlex EFC FILM: Hayato Masuda EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM Nishii's personal board, LOST 5'7" "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" HydroFlex EFC, one of two This is an all-white epoxy resin tint color board. Recently, when the waves are really small I ride the "SHORT ROUND" model, and when the size is big I ride the "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" model, so I've been riding these two models exclusively. Since the takeoff can be done while the waves are still rolling, you can save time before the first turn. There is a difference of a few seconds in observing the waves and predicting how they will break. The great thing about the CONQUEST EL-DIABLO model is that it can handle a single wave well. You can surf with constant speed, even on slow sections of waves like this. The ability to slash is another great feature of the CONQUEST EL-DIABLO model. The more you get used to it, the more you can control the board. It's no wonder Mayhem spent so much time developing and test riding it to perfect it. With the CONQUEST EL-DIABLO model, if you turn by putting the entire rail at the top of the board rather than raising the lip straight up, you can get a big spray like this and maintain speed, allowing you to ride well. Starting this time, we've included some aerial footage taken by drone, so please take a look! [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/116330701[/vimeo] * Posted by Luvsurf .
