This is a report from inside the Lost Surfboards headquarters in San Clemente.
This is a report from inside the Lost Surfboards headquarters in San Clemente. A rack of colorful boards ready to be shipped across the US. Julian's board is placed on the stairs leading up to his office on the second floor. This is the board that Kolohe has finished using. The bottom side looks like this and is still rideable, so I immediately secured it for display at Luvsurf. The yellow one is the beach buggy model and the red one is the driver model. It will arrive at Luvsurf in early September, so look forward to seeing it on display!! These are FCS wrenches. There are as many as there are boards, so there are a lot of them. This is a stock of FCSII plugs. Glass shops will take as many as they require from here. TAJI's board for LOWERS is almost finished. It is a tint color specification created by LAYZ GRIGO, but it has a very light finish. Two of the models are WHIPLASH-TB and one is BEACH BUGGY. All FCSII plugs. For FCSII fins, we recommend these lightweight, high-performance fins, sold separately. This is the type of fin used by FCS team riders. This fin is a prototype fin, an orthodox fin made of fiberglass with just two lines sprayed on.
Learn moreThis is an undercover report on the Lost Surfboard Factory in San Clemente.
Posted by Luvsurf . The brightly colored boards that have been popular since last year were seen everywhere in the factory. The stripes and polka dots are a 70's design and color. Terry Singh, the LOST surfboard airbrusher familiar to readers of the 24 blog, painted this board freehand using an airbrush. It is Cocoho's personal board. This is a skull and flare design, drawn in the finest detail using Terry's signature freehand painting technique. This is a work by LAYZ GRINGO, which we introduced the other day. This design is also resin work, not airbrushed or painted. This is a work by LAYZ GRINGO, who was inspired by LUCKY BUSTERS. This board has the same design and color as LOST's most popular board shorts this year . It's simply a combination of two colors, but depending on the colors you combine, it can look very stylish. This is the 2014 version of JW Design. There are many other beautiful color boards, but I will refrain from revealing them because LOST's cutting-edge designs are quickly copied. FCS II plugs have become common in California. The previous FCS/FUSION plugs cannot be used, so please do not specify this when ordering. FCS II will be the world standard plug from now on.
Learn moreNishii is in California. When I went to LOWERS, Kolohe was there.
Nishii is in CALIFORNIA. The water temperature is cold and I'm wearing a 3x2mm full suit. When I went to LOWERS, Kolohe was there. The board is apparently a DRIVER model. Kolohe is currently focused on his next game here at the Lowers. I brought two boards and rode them interchangeably. They were FCSII plugs. As you all know, Kolohe is also a FU WAX user. World Junior Champion Caio Iberi from Brazil, who uses FU WAX, was there and showed off some cool surfing skills. Dad Dino Andino also paddled out. Kolohe was surfing for quite some time today. It's not just about the duration, but also about selecting the waves that will give you the highest score within that time from the most crowded peaks. They practiced and had their personal cameraman, Noah Alani, videotape everything. Apparently the waves have been small for the past few weeks, and there were a lot of good surfers in the ocean, from WCT level to WQS top level, including local kids. It's hard to catch a wave, Nishii had a great time surfing on the 5'2" COUCH POTATO, which has a fast takeoff. The fins are WARD5 fins in a QUAD setting.

As the days of small waves continue, Many customers have come to our store to purchase second boards for small waves! Mr. A, Placebo 5'10" "LAYZ ORCA" FLEXLITE-TURBO material was selected. Mr. B, Placebo 5'9" "FISHQUEST II" FLEXLITE-TURBO material was selected. You are currently using the TABLET II model, size 5'8", and are satisfied with the takeoff performance. He has been losing strength over the past few weeks and purchased this for smaller waves to make riding more comfortable. Mr. C said, Placebo 5'10" "FISHQUEST II" FLEXLITE-TURBO material was selected. Compared to the Rays Orca of the same length in the store, the outline is rounded and the maneuverability is good. This is the place they chose. They are planning a surf trip with their children in a camper van during the Obon holidays. Mr. D, Placebo 5'10" "FISHQUEST II" FLEXLITE-TURBO material was selected. I heard that this FQII model is popular for small waves, and once you get used to it, it is also good for medium-sized waves. They came to our store, saw the actual product and made a purchase. Learn moreTEAM Luvsurf "Kei Kobayashi" Latest video from Nicaragua!
I just recently returned from a month-long surf trip to San Clemente, California. TEAM Luvsurf's Kei Kobayashi introduces the latest surf video filmed in Nicaragua. Nicaragua is such a tropical place. It goes into the barrel and comes out all the time. Is it the quality of the waves? The speed is really high. Maybe because he's surfing in board shorts, he's light and his air is high and he spins quickly. It was a great practice to surf in a place with good waves. To barrel in with a backhand grab rail, you need to be able to read the timing with the wave. At this age, you've already learned it. And then the layback huck turn in the closeout section! That's amazing. I improved my skills by doing upswings and accelerating inside the tube. Now, let's take a look at how much you've improved. [vimeo]http://vimeo.com/72321151[/vimeo]

Luvsurf TV:LOST MAYHEM 『SUB-DRIVER』Malia Manuel Rider: Malia Manuel Board used: LOST MAYHEM "SUB-DRIVER" FILM: Kouji Nishii EDIT: TABRIGADE FILM This is a collection of riding footage taken at the 2013 US Open held in Huntington Beach, California. Coco, Carissa and her girlfriend "Maria" are one of the three princess riders of the LOST MAYHEM board. She has beautiful surfing skills and is good at turning to create spray at the top. For bottom turns, lower your body position and center of gravity to release the weight of the turn and transition into a drive turn. She's a girl surfer, but she's powerful. You can see his beautiful, relaxed approach to whitewater over and over again. He's also good at backside snaps, spraying the ball with sharp movements. The DRIVER series is perfect for the waves in Japan. Anyone interested in trying out Mayhem's classic SUB-DRIVER ? [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/72170624[/vimeo]
