New LOST Japan-exclusive model "LAYZ POTATO" released in advance on Lay's Potato 24's blog!

Posted by Luvsurf . The new LOST Japan-exclusive model "LAYZ POTATO" is available to those who follow the blog in advance! This is a Japan-exclusive model that adds performance and driving ability to the couch potato model! Mayhem has created a new design for couch potatoes who want to ride bigger waves! "Features of LAYZ POTATO" ・Can be ridden in small waves even with a head oversized board - The paddle moves quickly and you can take off quickly. ・Easy to ride drive and quick board ・For intermediate and advanced players. ・Recommended to be oversized from knees and waist to head. * The couch potato model has been designed to be easy to ride even for those with oversized chests and heads, and has excellent drive and performance. Introducing an improved board! *This is a board that will fly and run like crazy! The Couch Potato is a hugely popular second board for small waves. Its powerful takeoff and maneuverability made it a huge hit for Lost in 2013. However, its only weakness was that some people were a bit worried about it getting bigger. It's true that a very short board can be a little unsettling when the waves get big. Plus, its width makes it difficult to dolphin (duck) dive. So Mayhem has done some magic tuning to the Couch Potato. They've added a little length, reduced the width of the center outline to allow for a longer turn, and narrowed the tail design. They've also added a double wing to make it easier to control the tail with your back foot. The semi-rounded nose is less rounded than the Couch Potato, and the rails appear to be thinner than you'd expect, but rest assured that there's still enough buoyancy and volume to make it easy to ride at an intermediate level. The bottom features a deep single concave. The long vee bottom that runs from the tail end to the front fin, combined with the kicktail design, allows the board to rotate easily during top turns. This board balances the takeoff and paddle ability of a couch potato with performance, and its rounded outline makes it fun and easy to ride in Japanese wave conditions. This Japan-exclusive model is designed for freesurfing, and is suitable for both small and overhead waves. This is a recommended board for couch potato lovers who want an all-around board for riding in larger waves. ■LAYZ POTATO size lineup 5'5" x 19 5/8" x 2 1/4" (165 x 49.8 x 5.7 cm) 27.5cl Intermediate 47-52kg Advanced 52-57kg 5'6" x 19 3/4" x 2 5/16" (168 x 50.1 x 5.85 cm) 29.0cl Intermediate 50-55kg Advanced 55-60kg 5'7" x 19 7/8" x 2 3/8" (170 x 50.5 x 6.0 cm) 29.0cl Intermediate 55-60kg Advanced 60-65kg 5'8" x 20" x 2 7/16" (173 x 50.8 x 6.2 cm) 32.9cl Intermediate 60-65kg Advanced 65-70kg 5'9" x 20 1/8" x 2 1/2" (175 x 51.1 x 6.35 cm) 33.6cl Intermediate 65-70kg Advanced 70-75kg 5'10"x 20 1/4" x 2 9/16" (178 x 51.4 x 6.5 cm) 35.0cl Intermediate 75-80kg Advanced 80-85kg 5'11"x 20 3/8" x 2 5/8" (180 x 51.7 x 6.68 cm) 36.5cl Intermediate 80-85kg Advanced 85-90kg 6'0" x 20 1/2" x 2 11/16"(183 x 52.0 x 6.83 cm) 38.5cl Intermediate 85-90kg Advanced 90-95kg 5'9" 5'10" 5'11" These three sizes will be in stock mid-September. Check out the new model "STEALTH II" and the new material "XTR-FX."

Posted by Luvsurf . This is the mark for the new model "STEALTH II." The latest stealth aircraft is designed as the model mark. The outline seen from the deck side looks like this: The wide point is located in front of the center, which is a feature of the "STEALTH II". When paddling, you can move your body forward more than with a regular board, This system inevitably allows everyone to take off faster. The tail area has the same double wing rocket tail design as Placebo's V3-ROCKET. It is narrower than high performance boards such as SUB-DRIVER, When you step on the tail, the board turns over with the lightness of a competition model. The board size is determined by the wide point at the front. We recommend choosing the shortest length possible. A good guideline is to choose a board that is 2 to 3 inches shorter than your regular board. This is the ``STEALTH II'' with POLYESTER Carbon Tail Patch. The fin system is equipped with FCSII. This "STEALTH II" with POLYESTER Carbon Tail Patch is also The XTR-FX "STEALTH II" model that we introduced earlier is also available. The first stock boards will arrive in mid-September, so stay tuned!

Today the "NECK TANS" team will be having a session at LOWERS.

Posted by Luvsurf . There are still swells coming in from the south, and the waves are excellent today at LOWERS. Nishii is using the soon-to-be-released NECK TANS surf towel in black. The product KEI is using is the prototype FUWAX/COOL. Doug from the NECK TANS team. He has the new CALIFORNIA flag sticker on his bike. My body has become toned and lighter through training, and my surfing is in top form. Shaw from NECK TANS participated in the filming again today on the LOST 5'8" SUB-DRIVER-JP XTR-FX. The model my father, Masaki, chose today was the LOST "BEACHBUGGY" model. Cameraman Masuda shot the video. The blue color of the NECK TANS surf towel is this. The three-day weekend has started, the weather is nice and midsummer, and the Ward family has also appeared. The bike Chris was riding was a V2-ROCKET. He wowed the beach gallery with his heavyweight power surfing.

Today we have an early morning session at LOWERS with "Mayhem" and "Kolohe".

Today we have an early morning session at LOWERS with Mayhem and Kolohe. Mayhem is a 5'9" COUCH POTATO from C3, and KOLOHE is a 5'10" DRIVER. Nishii's is the new yellow POTATO model that will be released soon, and the new XTR from SUB-DRIVER-JP. KOLOHE is an FCS team, so it's only natural that they are FCSII. The wax is, of course, FU Wax. He buys a year's supply in Brazil and keeps it stored at home. There are a lot of surfers in California, and the stock is low, so they sell out quickly and it's extremely difficult to buy them in stores. Luke Davis' younger brother, Jamie, also joined the session. Afterwards, we guided the Murasaki Sports group to LOST Surfboards. Tajibarou/BEACH BUGGY was almost complete. The airbrush is cool! Taji's BEACH BUGGY was developed as a board for rough waves, but it can also handle Japanese beach breaks. This board has more buoyancy and volume than its appearance or image would suggest. For a detailed explanation of the model, please click here!

This is a report from inside the Lost Surfboards headquarters in San Clemente.

This is a report from inside the Lost Surfboards headquarters in San Clemente. A rack of colorful boards ready to be shipped across the US. Julian's board is placed on the stairs leading up to his office on the second floor. This is the board that Kolohe has finished using. The bottom side looks like this and is still rideable, so I immediately secured it for display at Luvsurf. The yellow one is the beach buggy model and the red one is the driver model. It will arrive at Luvsurf in early September, so look forward to seeing it on display!! These are FCS wrenches. There are as many as there are boards, so there are a lot of them. This is a stock of FCSII plugs. Glass shops will take as many as they require from here. TAJI's board for LOWERS is almost finished. It is a tint color specification created by LAYZ GRIGO, but it has a very light finish. Two of the models are WHIPLASH-TB and one is BEACH BUGGY. All FCSII plugs. For FCSII fins, we recommend these lightweight, high-performance fins, sold separately. This is the type of fin used by FCS team riders. This fin is a prototype fin, an orthodox fin made of fiberglass with just two lines sprayed on.

This is an undercover report on the Lost Surfboard Factory in San Clemente.

Posted by Luvsurf . The brightly colored boards that have been popular since last year were seen everywhere in the factory. The stripes and polka dots are a 70's design and color. Terry Singh, the LOST surfboard airbrusher familiar to readers of the 24 blog, painted this board freehand using an airbrush. It is Cocoho's personal board. This is a skull and flare design, drawn in the finest detail using Terry's signature freehand painting technique. This is a work by LAYZ GRINGO, which we introduced the other day. This design is also resin work, not airbrushed or painted. This is a work by LAYZ GRINGO, who was inspired by LUCKY BUSTERS. This board has the same design and color as LOST's most popular board shorts this year . It's simply a combination of two colors, but depending on the colors you combine, it can look very stylish. This is the 2014 version of JW Design. There are many other beautiful color boards, but I will refrain from revealing them because LOST's cutting-edge designs are quickly copied. FCS II plugs have become common in California. The previous FCS/FUSION plugs cannot be used, so please do not specify this when ordering. FCS II will be the world standard plug from now on.

Nishii is in California. When I went to LOWERS, Kolohe was there.

Nishii is in CALIFORNIA. The water temperature is cold and I'm wearing a 3x2mm full suit. When I went to LOWERS, Kolohe was there. The board is apparently a DRIVER model. Kolohe is currently focused on his next game here at the Lowers. I brought two boards and rode them interchangeably. They were FCSII plugs. As you all know, Kolohe is also a FU WAX user. World Junior Champion Caio Iberi from Brazil, who uses FU WAX, was there and showed off some cool surfing skills. Dad Dino Andino also paddled out. Kolohe was surfing for quite some time today. It's not just about the duration, but also about selecting the waves that will give you the highest score within that time from the most crowded peaks. They practiced and had their personal cameraman, Noah Alani, videotape everything. Apparently the waves have been small for the past few weeks, and there were a lot of good surfers in the ocean, from WCT level to WQS top level, including local kids. It's hard to catch a wave, Nishii had a great time surfing on the 5'2" COUCH POTATO, which has a fast takeoff. The fins are WARD5 fins in a QUAD setting.
