17-year-old Kolohe wins 6-Star Brazil event!
17-year-old Kolohe Andino wins the 6 Star Brazil event! This is the first time we have won outside of the USA! In this contest, I used four different boards. The model was apparently using SUB-DRIVER and DRIVER. Kolohe has now risen to 34th in the world rankings. There is a strong possibility that he will qualify for the 2013 WT Tour! This morning I went surfing at Upper, This was the best waves I've had in my three weeks in California. The waves were big, had a glassy surface, and powerful waves, with even a barrel section appearing. In the afternoon, we went to a surf industry exhibition being held in Del Mar, San Diego. I went to an exhibition called "SACRED CRAFT." This is the LOST Surfskate booth. In the square in front of the booth, There was also a classic slalom event, and the winners of each race were awarded Prizes include t-shirts and LOST surf skates. In the square, kids on LOST surf skates made tube waves out of blue sheets. We enjoyed barrel skating, gliding through it on skateboards. There is also a surf art corner. Today. From yesterday's stormy conditions with strong winds and rain, The weather has changed and the air is clear and sunny in Orange County. This photo is of Salt Creek. The waves are worse than usual, but they're still big enough to be surfable. This photo is of a secret beach break. The green grass land has been for sale for quite some time, but it is so expensive that no one can buy it. You can see the direction of the swell coming from the north. It looks good in the photo but it's actually a LOWER that's not good. This is T-STREET. Locals checking the waves. The waves were a bit choppy everywhere due to the wind yesterday, but the quality of the waves here was the best. Nishii isn't always at the beach. I went to CALIFORNIA for work, so I got a business visa and am staying in the US. In order to complete the visa renewal procedure, I have to go to the office district of Costa Mesa to meet with a lawyer.
