New Luvsurf TV released! "SUB-DRIVER" Luke Davies

Luvsurf TV: LOST MAYHEM "SUB-DRIVER" Luke Davis Rider: Luke Davis Board used: LOST MAYHEM "SUB-DRIVER" FILM & EDIT: Tabrigade Films This is a surf clip of Luke Davis riding the SUB-DRIVER model. I'm using the SUB-DRIVER model for contests at beach breaks on the QS where the waves aren't very good, with the aim of competing in the WQS and joining the WCT. As he says in the video, the SUB-DRIVER model has rounded rails, slightly less rocker, a slightly wider tail and nose, and good buoyancy, making it Mayhem's high-performance design that is well-suited to the wave conditions in Japan. The Luke and SUB-DRIVER models are brisk and have excellent maneuverability despite the board's volume. The waves are small and not very good, but the speed of these riders gives you an idea of what it's like riding the waves in Japan. This model has a very good reputation and is very popular at test drive events. As a new model for 2012, it is now arriving in stores at Love Surf. Please try the "SUB-DRIVER" model, which is suitable for the wave conditions in Japan. Comparing the designs of "SUB-DRIVER" and "F1-STUB"

We compared the design differences between LOST's popular high-performance models, the SUB-DRIVER and F1-STUB, clearly showing photos of the actual boards and screenshots of the AKU machine's design software. *The comparison is based on board sizes of the same length of 5'10", width of 18 1/2" (47cm), and thickness of 2 1/8" (5.4cm). Comparing the outline, the SUB-DRIVER is slightly wider and rounder than the F1-STUB. Comparison of nose outline. The SUB-DRIVER is slightly wider and rounder than the F1-STUB. This is a comparison of the shapes of the center section cut into a ring. The rail shape of the "F1-STUB" is slightly thinner, while the "SUB-DRIVER" is more rounded. The concave depth of the "F1-STUB" is slightly shallower, while that of the "SUB-DRIVER" is deeper. If you hold the actual rail shape in your hand, you can see the difference. The "F1-STUB" is thinner, while the "SUB-DRIVER" is more rounded. Here's a comparison of the balance between the bottom line rocker and the overall thickness of the board. The F1-STUB has less flat rocker on the bottom, while the SUB-DRIVER has slightly more. Compare the thickness of the board from the tip of the nose and the tip of the tail, about 1/4 of the way down the board. The thick parts of the board are more in the nose and tail of the ``SUB-DRIVER'', while the ``F1-STUB'' is thinner. This is the easiest comparison to make with the SQUASH tail shape. The SUB-DRIVER is wider than the F1-STUB. I recommend both boards, but the SUB-DRIVER is better when compared at the same size. The board has a voluminous design, which means it has a lot of buoyancy and contact area, making it easier to gain speed and suitable for less powerful waves. On the other hand, the F1-STUB has more rocker and thinner rails, making it a more maneuverable and sensitive board.

Check out Mason Ho's original surf style!

Mason's new movie has been released on LOST TV, so let me introduce it to you. Mason is a big hit at autograph signings and has an original surfing style that is entertaining to watch, making him one of the few surfers to have that style these days. Mini Air is also available as an entry. It looks like slow motion because it stays in the air for a long time, but it's not. Sick full weighted rail turns in close out sections Even though his feet are separated, he grabs and holds the board with his right hand, and inserts his left hand into the lip to use as the axis of rotation. This air also has an incredible horizontal distance. There are fewer and fewer people who do this kind of interesting surfing, so it's exciting to see him surf. (Astrodeck advertising shoot) The HO family doesn't use grips, so the deck grip is just written in magic marker. https://vimeo.com/40205061 ↑Here's the video!

Please take a look at the photos of the ARCTIC factory that LOST uses.

See photos of the ARCTIC foam factory. The other day, while on a surf trip to Mexico, I met Andrew from ARCTIC foam, which LOST is a big fan of and uses mainly, in the ocean, and this is a photo I took when I was given a tour of the foam factory in Mexico, the first time a Japanese person had done so. The factory is spacious enough that a car can easily drive through it. This is to check that there is no air in the finished foam. In this way, the form is inspected by holding it up to the light and looking through it. A stencil for marking forms ordered by LOST. This is the initials of the person who inspected it and the manufacturing number of the form. A machine that cuts the finished form in half. There are so many different types of wooden stringers available, and they can be customized to fit your board's rocker, color, and thickness. This is a rack where the finished forms are lined up. There's a lot of it, as it's delivered from here to all over the world. Please also take a look at this Colorform article again. http://luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=12556
