★About the types of parabolic stringers.

We've received a lot of questions about the different types of parabolic stringers recently, so let us explain. Choose which of the three parabolic materials is your preference. ■EPS(marko) / Paraboric ---------- ¥175,000 body / ¥183,750 tax included EPS is a foam bead that is glass coated with epoxy resin. The foam itself is light, making it easy to reduce the finished weight of the board, so it is often ordered by competitors and is in high demand for competition use. The advantage is that the board is lighter, easier to handle, and allows for more agile surfing. The downside is that it absorbs water easily, so if you crash, you need to get out of the water quickly. Because it's lightweight, it's best suited to calm conditions or slow-breaking waves, where it takes off quickly and moves effortlessly. However, it's not suited to fast-breaking waves, digging waves that require you to quickly get to the bottom, or strong offshore conditions, where takeoff is slower and it's not suitable. While it's not suitable for all conditions, it offers excellent performance in suitable waves. At Lost, we carefully select MARKO brand EPS foam from the many manufacturers available. For competitors who prioritize a light ride over durability, this is the board for you. ■XTR 5.C / Paraboric -------- ¥175,000 (excluding tax) / ¥183,750 (excluding tax) This is the parabolic stringer version of XTR foam, manufactured by the well-known Oceanside company Epoxy Pro. XTR is available in three laminate finishes: 5.0, 5.2, and 5.C. We recommend the 5.C finish. The dual-stringer design provides increased strength over the standard center-stringer XTR 5.C finish. Unless you're looking for a particularly strong board, the 5.C finish is usually the best choice. XTR's advantages include its water-wicking properties, high foam density for strength, and its all-around performance, durability, and durability in all conditions. Storage caution is required when storing the board, especially in extremely hot places like a car. The rails are clear and simple. Stronger and longer-lasting than EPS, this is the board for all-around use. ■XTR 5.C / Dual Density Paraboric -------- ¥180,000 (excluding tax) / ¥189,000 (including tax) This is the same product as above, made by XTR, but this one has Styrofoam on the rails on both sides of the outside of the stoner. This Styrofoam is generally only available in blue, which is why it turns out blue. A typical example is S-CORE. Think of the rails as being made of the same material as S-CORE. The advantage of Dual Density Paraboric is that this Styrofoam is denser than XTR foam, so using it for the rails increases the strength of the rails. The disadvantages are that it is more expensive and that it will inevitably result in blue rails. If you don't mind the rails turning blue, this one is strong enough for you! Which parabolic stringer is your preference?

About Parabolic Stringers

Here's a video of Mayhem talking about the Parabolic Stringer: It's available on the US Lost website. This interview was conducted at the ASR trade show in San Diego while Nishii was in California. The URL is here: http://www.lostenterprises.com/prod/newsArtical.php?ID=1016 Or here on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HYXnUw7k9E&eurl= It's about 7 minutes long, and Mayhem's performance is at the very end, so don't miss it. Even if you don't understand English, you can understand that parabolic stringers do not cause left and right twisting. Take a look and you'll see what Mayhem's gestures say about this amazing new board. What do you think? Parabolic stringers are the keyword this year! By the way, I'll also include Chris Ward.
