The board I was riding at the time was a 5'4" round nose round with fins. Nishii is surfing with the original fins he is currently developing. This fin is a Twin Fin Plus One, which has the same combination as the MR Twin +1. I'm sure you've all known how great the PLACEBO RNR DURA-FLEX5 is since it was released two years ago, but it's the perfect board for testing the fins that Nishii is currently developing, and since I was able to test both tight turns and driving turns on the reef break with its characteristic waves, I wanted to change the shape of the fins a little more. It's been almost two years since I got it through a custom order, but it's still my favorite and the board I use the most. All of our new stock boards sold out quite some time ago, but we now have some used boards in good condition in stock! The used "MICKS TAPE" that has just arrived is a special MADE IN VIETNAM "Black Sheep Built" that cannot be produced even with a USA custom order, with the image color blue printed across the entire deck surface! The blue on the deck surface has been deliberately given a distressed tint in places, with elaborate processing that allows the carbon inside to show through, giving it a vintage look! The MICKS TAPE is the model that won the No. 1 spot at the Electric Acid Surfboard Test, an event hosted by STAB in the Maldives, where the waves are perfect and everyone envies.
