Nishii rode the previous model of this board, "ZEKE," I remember winning the Japanese surf contest in California in 2019! For Nishii, it was the "ZEKE" winning board! This "ZEKE2.0" is an updated model of the previous model "ZEKE". Both are operated by elevator wings. It's great that a thick board can move like a thin board. What has been updated to version 2.0? There are two main ones! The first one is, All fins are FCS2 fins, making it a 5-fin system. This means you can now use your FCS2 fins in a tri-fin or quad configuration, something that wasn't possible with the previous model. Of course, it can also be used with the MR TWIN + 1, which Nishii and Hiroki recommend as the best match for the ZEKE2.0 ! The second one is, It's a two-channel bottom! These two channels are located around the end fin at the very rear of the tail, where the most resistance is created. This reduces drag when water hits the fin and forces the water out of the board, improving speed. It's designed to let you surf faster than the previous model, the ZEKE, which didn't have two channels. One more thing to know is that the big difference between this and the older "GOBLIN" series, which is often compared to it, is that "Improved drive performance." The board outline of the "ZEKE" series is different from the "GOBLIN" series. The board has a long, straight outline in the center, It allows for more extended, larger drive turns.
