Breaking news! Kei Kobayashi, 15 years old! Wins again after last week!
We have received an emergency report from California, which finished local time on Sunday! Held over two days at Salt Creek Kei Kobayashi wins Surfing America Prime event, following his victory last week! The level is higher than the WSA competition that I won last week because only selected players can participate. What's more, he competed in the under-18 class, which was older than his age, and achieved the amazing feat of winning! And Kei, who loves competitions, entered the double class and came in second in the under-16 class! A double class final is also amazing. Congratulations to Katsura, who won and was being carried after the heat! Boys U18 (top left): 1st - Key Kobayashi 2nd - Nic Hdez 3rd - Daniel Glenn 4th - Colt Ward Boys U16 (bottom right): 1st - Nolan Rapoza 2nd - Kei Kobayashi 3rd - John Mel 4th - Griffin Colapinto This is not the riding for this contest, This is a photo of me riding at the Surfing America Prime competition held in San Clemente last month. Kei appears at the very beginning and the latter half of the video, so please take a look. This time, he advanced to the finals of the tournament and finished in 4th place. Learn moreThe trusted PRO SHOP "Love Surf" can suggest "CL value".
I received a question asking, "How do you calculate the CL value?" I will explain it in this blog. Nishii and MAYHEM use the digital surfboard design software AKU, owned by LOST Surfboards, to cut blanks (forms) called "AKU." You can design everything from the board outline and concave, rails to the rocker curve of the board. Open the "master file" of each model created by MAYHEM. Enter the length, thickness and width. This AKU software function displays the CL value. The liters written is the cl value, and for some reason it also calculates how many bottles of beer it is. To access the "master files" of each model created by MAYHEM, Only a limited number of people involved with LOST are allowed to use it. The file data for each model is updated by LOST Mayhem, so There may be some slight discrepancies in the figures depending on the production schedule, but it is not a big difference. You may want a different model with the same CL value, or with 1 CL less, or 0.5 less, If you tell us your wishes, Nishii will use the AKU software to create a design that meets your needs. We can suggest board sizes to suit your desired model. If you are thinking about ordering a custom bike for your 2014 bike, feel free to contact us here. https://www.luvsurf.co.jp/contact.html We look forward to hearing from you at Love Surf, the trusted professional shop! Learn moreWe looked at the photos and videos we took and exchanged thoughts and opinions about Mayhem and the board design.
All Photo by Masuda"MARS"Hayato The waves are small in San Clemente, but Oceanside, about 20 minutes south by car, has good waves. I went there. It was a fine Sunday morning, and there were many people on the pier. This photo shows someone entertaining children with a giant soap bubble performance. The waves were at their biggest set, about this size, and the water was very beautiful that day. Back in San Clemente, Mayhem has completed an improved version of the new model they are testing, We decided to do a test ride and checked the waves for the evening test session. We decided to surf San Clemente's powerful beach break, State Park. Popular as a balance training for surfing Andy and his son, the developers and owners of Chic Trick, were also there. Andy is also a dedicated father who regularly teaches his brothers Cannon and Carson how to surf. Nishii filmed the Mayhem test ride to check the Mayhem and its condition. I'm in charge of videography. I changed the wide point from the previous design and made some changes to the outline. The connection between each turn has become smoother. Return to the Mayhem house, where the magic boards are stored on the ceiling of the garage. While looking at the photos and videos we took, we had a cocktail session with Mayhem. We exchanged thoughts and opinions about the board design. Posted by Luvsurf .

This victory will give him the right to participate in the upcoming Triple Crown event, This was a big win as he earned 1,000 points to join the WCT in 2014. Mr. A, You chose the LOST "COUCH POTATO" POLYESTER specification. I also have the TABLETII model, but it's a wide, fast-paddle board that can be used in small waves. We were asked whether to get the "Orca" model or this one, and we had a reservation before it arrived. Mr. B, He chose the LOST "STEALTH II" POLYESTER + CARBON TAIL PATCH specification. He was riding the Lost "RNF-QUAD" model, which he loved, but this time he was riding a board that He wanted to ride a new board with a slightly increased buoyancy, so we asked him for advice. This "STEALTH II" model was purchased. Mr. C said, Placebo's "FISHQUEST II" FLEXLITE-TURBO specification was selected. I felt that the LOSTWCT I had purchased previously lacked buoyancy, so I also used a funboard that was easier to take off. I was dissatisfied with the movement, so I carefully considered it on the website and purchased it. Mr. D, You have selected the Placebo "TITAN" FLEXLITE-TURBO specification. This time, the board has a little more buoyancy than before, and he chose it as a switch to a performance board with a pointed nose. It allows for sharper movements and makes takeoff a little quicker. Mr. E, You have selected the Placebo "TABLET II" FLEXLITE-TURBO specification. Until now, he had been riding a longer than usual 6'7" pointed nose board, He was dissatisfied with the board's slow movement due to its length, so he came to our store. After consulting with us, the customer purchased the TABLET II model, which has buoyancy and is safe to use. Mr. F, Placebo "ISLANDER" POLYESTER + CARBON TAIL PATCH specification was selected. While I was considering this "ISLANDER" model made of FLEXLITE-TURBO material, If only one of the same model was produced in each size at a sale price, It's valuable and, above all, the price is low! That's what made him decide to buy it. There are lots of great deals on sale boards listed on this page! There is only one model that fits your needs and has the right size, so Don't hesitate to buy it! It's a bargain! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/topics/sale.html You can also purchase from our convenient online store here! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/category/item/itemgenre/sale-corner/ Thank you everyone for coming to our store and purchasing so many new boards!!!
