Nishii is staying at Playa Hermosa Beach in Costa Rica. The hotel is called Surf Inn Hermosa. I share two bedrooms with Mayhem and his family. Playa Hermosa Beach is a powerful beach break with hollow waves. There was an abundance of wild animals, and an iguana had been hit by a car on the road. There are wild birds like in a zoo, and apparently many tourists come from all over the world just to see the birds. Mayhem is an expert on Costa Rica and has many friends there, and legendary surfers welcome him, so the Nishii family is having a comfortable time.

It's a six-hour direct flight from LA. The time difference with LA is one hour. We boarded at 11pm and arrived at 6am local time. We rented a car at the airport and drove for about two hours. We headed to Playa Hermosa where we were staying. Check in to the hotel on the beach. I'll be staying there for 7 days so stay tuned for my report!

In an interview with Surf Trip Journal magazine I am on Simeloo Island in the Sumatra archipelago in Indonesia. It is a remote area where the entire island becomes unusable due to heavy rain. I haven't been able to update my blog for the past few days due to poor Wi-Fi environment. I managed to get it working this morning so I was able to update. I changed planes three times. Lastly, there is this propeller plane. Akira Shindo PRO Tomoyuki Onozuka PRO It's coming. The photographer, I'm Kenyu Takahashi, the CAMARA man. "Simeru Island" is what Nishii is pointing at. It is an island located just north of the Mentawai and Nias islands in the Sumatra archipelago. It is not yet a popular island in Japan, It is still a place that has only been developed in the last few years, even on a global scale. Because there are so few people, I went on an overseas surf trip, There were lots of other surfers, locals and guides. I recommend it because you won't have trouble catching waves like you would in Japan. The hotel is clean and It doesn't upset your stomach, The food is delicious, The islanders are also friendly, The security situation is also good. Wild cattle and Goats and Cobras are common. The waves are regular heaven. From this main FUN WAVE, If you take a small boat to a remote island, There was a world-class BIGWAVE that only a professional could ride! As the air and water temperatures have been getting colder recently, I'm sure there are some people who are planning a surf trip to a warmer place, escaping the cold of Japan. Shaw Kobayshi, a Love Surf USA staff member and pro team rider, I went on a trip to Nicaragua with my NECK TANS team member Aaron. The video is now complete, so I'd like to introduce it to you. According to SHAW, this beach break in Nicaragua called "Playa Colorado" There is almost no wind in the morning, but the wind picks up in the afternoon, but the wind is offshore, so it is a dream place for surfers who can enjoy tube riding all day long. The water temperature is tropical and warm, and you can even surf in board shorts. I'd love to go! This video of Shaw Kobayashi was also one of GO PRO's top three videos of October! So take a look!
