POLYESTER properties
This material is the mainstay of surfboards being made all over the world. It is easy to process in all manufacturing processes, from producing the base foam, shaping, glassing (laminate coating), and sanding, and it is the material that requires the least time and effort, allowing manufacturers to offer it to the market at a low price.
Of all the materials, it is the material that can be used to produce boards in the shortest time, so it is often used for competition boards used in contests where the board change cycle is fast.

The competition boards used by pros are lightweight for better response, but they are less durable and more prone to breakage, resulting in a short lifespan. However, the ride feel of standard commercial POLY is characterized by a firm, stable float while sinking in the water, making it a familiar and popular material for experienced surfers who like to draw solid lines.
This POLY material is priced relatively cheaply, making it the most economical choice for users who change their equipment frequently. It also has the advantage of being the cheapest repair material compared to other materials, making repair costs the lowest.
