Check out the unpublished photos from STJ magazine of Nias Island, Indonesia!

Featured in the STJ magazine released this month, KENYU took this photo during our trip to Nias Island, Indonesia. There are many unpublished photos, so I would rather not let them go, so I will share them with you all. The inside section is a fun wave. The water looks shallow, but in a normal wipeout you won't hit the reef. The risk is so low that you don't even need reef boots. It is inside the village king's house at the top of a high mountain. He is sitting on the king's chair. There was a large hearth inside the house, and it was eerie to see the rows of pig jaw bones that had been cooked there. This is a photo of me having tea at a cafe in the village. A rare Japanese person for children. After surfing, Nishii walks back to the inn. Local surfers were watching TV and playing billiards. The exact name of the spot is "Lagundri Bay" on Nias Island. You can ride a tremendous distance from the outside to the inside. The usual quiver shot was rejected for publication. Last November, we released "XTR-PARALLEL-FLEX" I brought the FLEXLITE-TURBO to Nias and did a test ride. There's more to come so I'll post it later.
