First up is early morning surfing at UPPERS.
The board I chose after seeing the best waves on the long wall was
I rode the "SUB-BUGGY-JP" model with QUAD fins.
Stock boards are arriving at Luvsurf one after another, so please come and see them! This is a great board that even those who don't like quad fins should try!
Starting next week, the tournament will be held at the same highest level as the US Open, with the highest points.
When I went to check out LOWERS where the Prime Event contest was starting,
Powerful players from all over the world are gathering to make a name for themselves.
The level was incredible.
Among them, Ward is in left field and Kolohe is in right field.
Leveraging local knowledge
The two of us were riding a great set of waves.
CT rookie rider Wiggory Dantas, who rides a LOST MAYHEM board, will also be making an appearance!
It was my first time speaking to him, but he was a cheerful and nice young man.
He is also a CT surfer, so he is one level above QS level.
But Kolohe stood out the most! I hope he wins in his hometown.
I went to meet MAYHEM, who had just finished his shaping session for the day, as he was in the office. He said he had been on a family trip to Hawaii during spring break and was feeling refreshed and ready to get some work done.
Tomorrow, depending on the waves, I plan to shoot with Mayhem.
Here is a report from San Clemente, where the WSL Prime Contest starts next week. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=30791
