This photo was taken during practice when Kei Kobayashi was competing in the JPSA Ibaraki in September.
The waves at the bottom, where boulders, reefs and sand are mixed, are mushy, irregular and quite peculiar.
"Kay" surfs these kinds of waves on T-Street in San Clemente, so he's an expert at adjusting to the waves. The clear spray coming out of the three fins evokes speed!
The V2-GRINDER runs well even in thick waves, making it a model that can handle Japanese waves well.
Take a close look at the quality of each of Kei's surfing actions, which place him at the top level in the World Junior class.
