Unlike sponge boards, the PLACEBO "ORCA" is made by shaping the {center stringer EPS foam} used in standard surfboards, gluing the deck surface with two layers of 4oz + 6oz cloth with epoxy resin, then attaching bamboo on top of that, and then attaching a soft top on top of that, making it a very labor-intensive surfboard.

Unlike ordinary sponge boards, the PLACEBO ORCA has been made with great care and attention to the materials used, so the inside and bottom surface are the same as a regular surfboard, allowing you to ride like in the video above!
It's completely different from riding on a sponge board, isn't it?
The deck surface of the PLACEBO ORCA is covered with PVC rubber, which provides a firm grip when wet, meaning you don't need to use wax, which is a great feature!
The PVC rubber is impact resistant, making it ideal for kids and beginners to practice in crowded waters.
It has a very fast take-off, and once you get on it, you can easily pick up speed right away, so you can ride it all the way to the inside!

The fin system uses FCS II, so you can use your existing fins, which is great!
