As long-time readers of this blog know, The red order form is for a board ordered from Japan. It has a grab rail (for dolphin-through), which is not available on the USA model. What MAYHEM showed us here is a board made of a new material called "Carbon Wrap." It is patent pending and has undergone extensive testing. This is the board that will be released as the production version. Mayhem has a new board for "Taj Burrow" The board with the orange FCSII plug on the rack is Masato's SUB-BUGGY. "Carbon Wrap" is a high-performance surfing LOST team riders are raving about it, and the wrapped carbon and the material of the board itself have a reputation for helping you get ahead and ride faster. Moreover, it is finished at around 2.3 kg, the same as POLY's WCT boards. The deck is made of a special cloth called X-Cross, which is epoxy glass, making it much stronger than POLY. Shaw Kobayashi, who is leaving for Japan tomorrow, will be taking this LOST Carbon Wrap Masato SUB-BUGGY board with him, so it looks like Masato will be riding it at the Silver Week surf skate event in Chigasaki, Shonan on the 23rd. This board really shines in the soft waves of Shonan, so be sure to check out the exhibition heat that day. Masato will also be livening up the event as a DJ on the 23rd. And here's today's highlight! This time, it was produced to coincide with MAYHEM's visit to Japan. The new LOST logo is now complete and can only be used by those who order a custom LOST surfboard from Japan! The "RISING SUN" design is a favorite of Andy Irons, who also rode the LOST MAYHEM board. Please make sure to use it for the custom order boards at this MAYHEM event in Japan!
Learn moreFull of Masato! Introducing the latest issue of "Surfing Life" magazine, which will be released tomorrow, September 10th!!
Introducing the latest issue of Surfing Life magazine, which goes on sale tomorrow, September 10th! The reason for this is that, of course, for Lovesurf users, We would like anyone who is considering purchasing a LOST or PLACEBO surfboard to take a look. Professional golfer Nobuyuki Osawa gives his impressions of riding the LOST and PLACEBO. I heard some stories from the shoot, and apparently he was surprised at how well the PLACEBO CQ EL-DIABLO worked when he rode it for the first time, and that he also rode the LOST SHORT ROUND II model with great riding skills. These rides can be played back by downloading the app and scanning the camera. You can watch professional surfer Nobuyuki Osawa riding on LOST's "SHORT ROUND II" and PLACEBO's "CQ EL-DIABLO." The waves were good due to the typhoon, so the footage was filmed in Shichirigahama and Chigasaki, making it a must-see for those looking for inspiration! And more! The DVD included with this issue contains footage of Masato riding on a trip to Simeulue Island with his close friends, the professional diver Kaito. We took a quick look and saw them having a blast surfing the tropical waves on a Funassy-colored LOST "SUB BUGGY" model! Masato and his friends wrote a proposal and had it reviewed by Surfing Life, which was accepted, but it seems the waves were great and it was a memorable trip for them and their friends. This cool ad could easily be mistaken for an ad for "FU WAX"... This is an advertisement for GORILLA, Masato's surf accessory sponsor. It's a global design so it looks really cool! This design is also on the sign of Surf Hardware, an importer of FCS and Gorilla products in Ichinomiya, Chiba Prefecture, so be sure to check it out if you're passing by. It's on the sign alongside Julian Wilson! This is a double page spread of Masato, with Skullcandy on the right page. The left page is the actual advertisement for "FU WAX." The designer at Surfing Life made repeated revisions to the jagged equalizer lines to create a design that is truly representative of Masato. FU WAX is so popular at Love Surf that the WARM version is almost sold out as the season gets into full swing. The obvious difference is that even pros sponsored by other wax manufacturers actually use FU WAX, so please keep that a secret!
Learn moreThis photo was taken in Chiba yesterday. Hiroki is riding the new 6'6" LOST model!
The bike Hiroki is riding in these photos is the new 6'6" LOST model. This is a photo from yesterday in Chiba. The board is a whopping 6'6" long! But what's unique about this model is that it doesn't look long! Just hearing the name 6'6" makes you imagine how easy it is to ride the waves. This new model from Mayhem moves when you step on the grip! It's a long and big board that can be enjoyed by people of all levels, from beginners to advanced riders! "EZ UP" This board was born from my personal experience. This board can ride small waves as well as slightly larger waves, and is also ideal for everyday riding by beginners. I spent that summer surfing close to home at Couch Potato. As the big winter swells started to roll in, I quickly realized these boards were just too small to perform well. By extending the length of the board to the extreme and widening the maximum width accordingly, The outline is also rounded along the length of the board. The nose flip prevents pearling by preventing the nose from getting stuck during takeoff, which is very effective for beginners learning to take off and for advanced surfers doing late drops on hollow waves. The template for the rear half of the board from the center is remade and concave is added. The tail outline has been slimmed down to reduce surface area and the pintail has been rounded for control. The finished look is reminiscent of a 1970s double-ender, but with a more refined and aggressive rocker, contours and rails, this board is a joy to go surfing. It's a very friendly board that many surfers can ride well at any level and in any wave. With a silly name that allows anyone to step up their surfing game, The funny thing is, even when the waves aren't great I still have fun and feel good. LOST "EZ UP" Easy Up 6’4” x 22” x 2.88” (193 x 55.9 x 7.3 cm)43.9 6'6" x 22.25" x 2.88" (198 x 56.5 x 7.3 cm)46.97 6'8" x 22.50" x 2.88" (203 x 57.2 x 7.3 cm)48.19 POLYESTER ¥150,000 (excluding tax) 『FCSII』 5-fin plug specification standard We have completed the most recommended board for beginners so far! However, it is also a fun board for advanced riders to ride for fun. It's long and buoyant, making it the perfect board for learning takeoff. This is a very versatile board that can be used by advanced surfers to ride in small waves to large waves! A special page and a list of newly arrived stock boards will be released soon!

Learn moreWe will explain the foil of the ``QUAD rear fin'', which is divided into two major parts.
We will explain the foil of the ``QUAD rear fin'', which is divided into two major parts. First, let's take a look at the familiar tri-fin shape. The front side fins are The inside is flat and the outside, on the rail side, is curved. These side fins are shaped like a "foil" so that they can bend when turning. A foil designed to bend is called a side fin foil or flat foil. The center fin of this tri-fin is curved on both sides. Of the three tri-fins, only one has a different shape, so you can easily tell the difference when attaching it to your board. This fin, which has curved surfaces on both sides, is called a CENTER FIN foil. The fins attached to the two rear wheels of the QUAD can be broadly divided into two types. "Side Fin Foil (FLAT)" and "Center Fin Foil (50/50)". The "Side Fin Foil" has good turning ability and turns inwards when turning. This "center fin foil" gives you a longer turn and more drive. So, the board you ride in QUAD according to your preference and wave quality is, It is recommended that you understand the characteristics of the QUAD rear fin foil before selecting and using it. The side fins usually have a FLAT foil ratio of "curved 100/0 flat", ↑I feel like I want to try using "80/20" like this. There's also a foil quad rear fin with interesting proportions. We recommend the following QUAD rear fin. "0/100 Foil" S size http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/33987/ "80/20 Foil" M size http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/30514/ "80/20 Foil" M size http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/33813/ "80/20 Foil" S, M, L sizes http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/22503/ "50/50 Foil" M size http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/33851/ Try to get a lot of fins and use them in different ways!
