Learn moreI recommend the new technology "C4"! Cork decks are clearly different!
I recommend the new technology "C4"! Cork decks are clearly different. Nishii surfboard test course, We're testing our new C4 board technology at Trestles in California. When I rode on these smooth waves, I felt a huge, clear difference! It allows you to turn comfortably and easily even when the sea surface is rough. The C4 board is made of cork, which absorbs shock, sound, and vibration. When I tried riding on a wave like this, it felt even smoother than normal! When the waves are good, you can really see the performance of the board! Being able to test the boards on such amazing waves reminded me once again that the boards shaped by MAYHEM are highly refined, fast, dynamic, and in good condition. I highly recommend "C4" to anyone who hasn't tried it yet. It is stripped from trees and processed to make Feel the difference in the comfort of a board covered in cork!
Learn morePLACEBO 『DIABLO-X』 Flexlite-Limited! Session with Chucky Part 2!
At the Southside Pier in Huntington Beach, where the northwesterly wind waves from last night were still lingering, I had my second round of photoshoot with Chucky! The board is the same as last time, the PLACEBO 5'8" DIABLO-X Flexlte-Limited ! As promised last time, Chucky has changed his fins from size M to size L this time. This is the `` MF L-size TRI fin '', which is popular worldwide. Fins are a very important part of surfing, and just like surfboards, they need to be chosen to suit the waves. In small waves or thick waves that don't dig in, use small fins to make tight turns. For large waves or wave conditions where you need to run sideways, use large fins. It's a good idea to be able to make big turns. Chucky also has a PLACEBO 5'8" DIABLO-X Flexlite-Limited . I was surfing with large fins and holding the turn. It looked like he was in good shape! Today there was a lot of riding towards the backside, Since it's " DIABLO-X ", you can ride long distances, Chucky had gone south in the blink of an eye. This is the placebo version of DIABLO-X , the best-selling model in LOST in 2018. The Flexlte-Limited is a premium construction boat with a flexible and powerful Texalium deck. 10 "5'8"", 20 "5'9", 10 "5'10", This is a limited edition model with a total of 40 units, so be sure to get yours before they sell out! This fair is available now!
Learn moreThe ultimate combination test board is complete! LOST 『EVIL TWIN-JP』C4 Technology!
MAYHEM is working with C4 Technology, If you combine this model with LOST's "EVIL TWIN-JP" He said he thought it would be the best board, I ordered, Now that the test board for that combination has been completed, I got on right away!!! LOST "EVIL TWIN-JP" C4 Technology! The fins are MR twin fins, We put LOST's original fins in the center box and tested them in "Twin +1". I was able to turn with more rail lean than with the Single Fin +2. That means it would also go well with PLACEBO "ZEKE" !! I didn't have much time so I could only ride for about an hour, It felt good for a first session. As expected, the shock-absorbing effect of cork on surfing can be clearly felt! Well, Love Surf is also selling well, and there is no need for a human photographer. The automatic tracking robot camera "SOLO SHOT3" I think it's because the product was released earlier in California, where the distributor is based, than in Japan. More people use it than in Japan. Nishii has also become a common sight in Chiba on Sundays recently, Today in San Clemente, California, six units were in use with tripods set up on the beach. The surfing photos of Nishii featured this time were also captured from footage shot with " SOLO SHOT3 "! " SOLO SHOT3 " is a very excellent surf gear, so please give it a try! If you take a photo regularly, you can see your own surfing and make corrections every time. You'll definitely improve your surfing, and best of all, it's fun because you get to watch your own surfing every time!
Learn moreSneak peek! Report on the San Clemente "LOST Surfboards Exclusive" Glassing Factory!
Located in San Clemente, California, this is a LOST surfboard store. I sneaked into the GLASSING factory and here's my report! In this glass factory dedicated to LOST, We are currently producing resin tint color boards to be sent to Japan. The colorful "Resin Tint Color" takes more time and effort to produce than a clear board, but not only does it improve the texture of the board, it also increases its strength, and discoloration over time or due to exposure to sunlight is less noticeable, allowing you to ride in beautiful color for a long time, so at Love Surf we recommend "Resin Tint Color". Compared to boards made by simply painting foam with an airbrush, "Resin Tint Color" has a luxurious texture and gives the color depth and shading, making the board stand out more like a work of art. The resin is rolled up from the bottom and then semi-hardened on the rail, giving it a short time to be cut with a cutter. This is the moment when the cutter can carefully hand-cut the resin along the outline. This is done by the factory manager, Petty. This is a process called hot coating, where a thin layer of clear resin is applied with a brush to create the top layer of resin tint color. At this time, the tail is taped to create the edges. The person doing the work is veteran "Chato." The "resin tint color" is completed by repeatedly applying glass to the deck and bottom. Resin tint color boards are more expensive than clear boards because they require more time and effort to work with, but please know that they offer value and functionality that far exceeds their price! The RNF-ULTRA, a new genre of board known as the "MID-FISH" board, is a hot topic. "SHONAN WARRIOR" is currently being pre-ordered by surfers at small wave beaches, Stock boards such as the ever-popular "RNF-RETRO" model, which is always out of stock, are scheduled to arrive in May! We are currently accepting pre-orders, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact us with any questions or inquiries. Please call us at 03-3732-5532 or use this contact form ! We can also advise you on board sizes and provide information on available colors!
Learn moreNew model! PLACEBO "DIABLO-X" FlexLite Limited makes a big splash in Huntington Beach!
The DIABLO-X FlexLite Limited PLACEBO for Chucky is now complete, The QS1500 contest was held until yesterday. I heard that Chucky was going to take his first ride in Huntington Beach, so I went to take some photos. The fins are size M. Chucky said that the rails are thinner than the previous model, EL-DIABLO. He said that the turns drive big. Certainly, it moves quickly, He was making explosive power turns. He even barreled in, surprising his fellow local surfers. Since the rails are long, he would like to try QUAD or L-size tri-fins in his next session! PLACEBO “DIABLO-X” FLEXLITE-LIMITED Please give it a try!!!
Learn moreWe've arrived in San Clemente, California! Nishii reports from LOST headquarters!
Nishii arrived in Los Angeles, California last night. I immediately went to the LOST Surfboards headquarters in San Clemente, We bring you Nishii's latest report! The person wearing the red T-shirt is Sho Kobayashi, a Luvsurf USA staff member. The boards that will be sent to Luvsurf are being completed one after another. Resin tint color boards. Although they are all resin tint colors, the finish is light, and when you pick them up and hold them under your arm... It's an exquisite finish that will make you think, "I want to ride it!!!" and "It looks great!!!" There were also many "CARBON WRAP" products, which have been popular since their release!!! This amount can be seen at once, making it the most popular brand in the USA. Because it's "LOST Surfboards"! In California, USA, people who have never ridden a LOST surfboard before are finding that it is fast, mobile, and that just by changing boards they can get in shape and become better surfers, so the surfboards are becoming increasingly popular! Many kids and young surfers look up to the USA's top surfboarders, Kolohe and Griffin, and LOST surfboards are now the most popular in the US, not just among older LOST fans from the VHS era! All the really good California surfers ride LOST boards! When choosing a surfboard, a true surfer places the utmost importance on riding the waves, and if they were to choose a board based on the performance that surfers are actually looking for, they would end up with a ``LOST surfboard''! Is there anyone who hasn't tried a LOST surfboard yet? If you want to improve your surfing, we recommend the high-quality, high-performance LOST surfboard! This is a look at today's work at Catalyst Glass Factory. The boards lined up are the resin tint colored " SHONAN WARRIOR " boards that were pre-ordered before they arrived, and there are only a few left in stock. The LOST crew is working hard to finish them so that everyone in Japan can ride them as soon as possible!
