Nishii's answer is LOST's "CARBON WRAP"! LOST's Carbon Wrap is the perfect board technology for riding in small, powerless beach breaks, side and onshore conditions! We'll explain the LOST Carbon Wrap in detail below! The LOST Carbon Wrap surfboard is a flexible, high-rebound epoxy EPS board that's further tuned for faster response and more drive with two patented carbon bands. This board is especially effective in weaker waves, and has been used in beach break contests by the LOST team, where it has achieved many excellent results. It can be said that this board is perfectly suited to the wave conditions in Japan. The surface is made of elastic epoxy resin, making it highly resistant to damage and breaking, allowing you to ride the LOST `` CARBON WRAP '' surfboard for a long time. The extremely light, fused-cell, high-density EPS blanks gave us the base for a unique construction. We shaped the high-density EPS blanks and then wrapped them with carbon fiber bands in strategic locations. We started by aligning two carbon tips in the nose, then ran our proprietary carbon fiber bands down the length of the board, curving them toward the rails, creating a torsional flex pattern that controlled the board's flex. The carbon bands are wrapped around the rails and towards the deck, which is how they release power during weighted turns and generate speed through high-rebound elastic flexibility. The result is high speed and drive when riding. The carbon fiber extending to the tail acts as a power point (a point for drive and control) where you place your back foot. It also minimizes pressure damage to the tail area. The deck center is reinforced with Webfuse Carbon for strength and drive, while the smoothly tapered tip adds flexibility and prevents dents in the deck. The 45-degree crossed "X-Glass™" adds longitudinal strength and also promotes flexibility, spreading pressure radially outwards towards the rail for better edge control and rail work. The board is laminated with a special blend of fiberglass and carbon fiber using an optically bright, shiny epoxy resin. The carbon wrap adds drive and bounce for unparalleled speed - the propulsion that will take your surfing to the next level. The board is lightweight without sacrificing strength, achieving a level of performance that is different from conventional boards.
