Check out the photos of Nishii riding the new 5'4" PLACEBO 'RNR' model at Shizunami Surf Stadium. The other day, when I went to an event at Shizunami Web Pool, I tested the new model Round Nose Round in the WAVE pool. Riding the machine waves in the WAVE pool makes it easy to compare the surfboards, and it was clear to see that the tail is more rounded and bull-in than the original RNF'96 model, allowing for tighter up and down movement. The unique, calculated flex structure of the "DURA FLEX" gives it a cored flex that's somewhere between an EPS board and a PU center stringer board.
