This is the "BABY BUGGY" model I developed for Taj Burrow. It's been five years since Taj started riding my boards. He's a legendary high-performance board. But he's not young anymore, at 36, and he's had a kid. He's been surfing professionally for a long time. One day Taj said to me, "As a professional surfer, I ride thin, high-performance boards for contests and photo shoots, so I want you to make me a board that I can just enjoy surfing on for my own personal use." In other words, what Taji wants is something that is easy to surf, a little shorter, a little wider, a little thicker, and closer to a regular board. They told me they wanted me to make a board that would allow me to just enjoy surfing, not surf as a job to win contests or leave photos and videos. Taj just had a baby, so he named this model "BABY BUGGY." This is a really fun board to surf and it looks like a high performance board, The rocker in the tail and nose has been relaxed, and the rails have been given volume.
