Yesterday, Nishii tested three new and exciting products that have just arrived in stock.

Yesterday, Nishii tested three new and exciting products that have just arrived in stock. First up is the TRACE . Attach it to the nose and surf! *Number of rides * Riding distance * Riding time * Paddling distance *Maximum speed *Average speed * Paddling time *Number of turns *Turn angle *Rail roll angle * Number of airs *Air height *Time spent in the air * Calories burned will be recorded. If you shoot a video, the app will automatically sync it. You can link it to the video and watch it! The video will be released at a later date. For more information about "TRACE", click here! The waves were waist-high and came only occasionally, We have mixed and installed two new FCSII fin models. Only the two front fins are "SPLIT KEEL" fins , "SPLIT KEEL" is a QUAD set, I only installed the front fins. The center fin is a different model. Mayhem is a respected legendary shaper who created the twin fin and became a world champion with a board he shaped himself. This twin + stabilizer is fitted with only a small stabilizer in the center. The board is "GOBLIN" to match the waves. You can ride loose in weak waves where you would lose speed if you put too much rail in like this! The board will turn smoothly! These two fins just arrived in store at Luvsurf yesterday. How about some small wave surfing this weekend? http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/store/43683/ We look forward to your visit!

Must-see video released! LOST "SUPER-DIABLO" model designer talks about the video

LOST "SUPER-DIABLO" model An explanatory video by designer Matt "MAYHEM" Biolos himself has been released, so please take a look. This is the new 2016 model " SUPER-DIABLO" This "SUPER-DIABLO" is based on the hugely popular DIABLO series, a model exclusive to Japan. Unlike the previous DIABLO series, which had a sharp nose, the SUPER-DIABLO has a wider, shorter, and more voluminous design. This design gives the board as much buoyancy as possible. The rails are full, but the grab rails lighten the volume of this area. Starting this year, we've been using thin redwood stringers for thicker board designs like the SUPER-DIABLO . Using these thin stringers makes for a light, flexible board. The SUPER-DIABLO is a short, thick board, so it doesn't break easily. That's why we can use these light, flexible, thin stringers. The tail is the familiar single wing squash tail. The first 30cm from the tail is similar to a high performance board. The rails, rocker, and outline give it excellent paddling performance. It's easy to catch waves. You'll be able to win the wave battle during peak weekends when the waves are crowded. You can catch waves with the same feeling as on a longboard, softboard, or big retro fish. But if you put your foot on the tail, it moves like a high-performance board. The tail end is V-shaped and has a deep concave. This deep concave runs straight from the center to the tail for improved acceleration. However, the rails are curved from the center, making it easier to turn. It's not a board that doesn't bend like a retro fish or funboard. The bow-shaped rail line created by the concave allows you to glide freely through the waves and even create a vertical lip. It's a short, wide and thick board, but it turns easily. It may look like a simple design, but it's packed with powerful ideas. It has a buoyant concept like a retro fish, but also moves like a high-performance shortboard. That's Lost's "SUPER-DIABLO." https://vimeo.com/157387943

Must-see! PLACEBO's "GOBLIN" commentary video by Matt "MAYHEM" Biolos

This is a LOST surfboard mat, and of course, this PLACEBO surfboard is also my MAYHEM design. Introducing the new PLACEBO model "GOBLIN." The "GOBLIN" is a new design based on the FISHQUEST model concept. It's a short, wide, and thick, compact surfboard. It's the easiest model to paddle and is perfect for riding small waves. It has ample buoyancy and a slight rocker, yet still has good turning ability. It has a very deep concave for increased float. This extra float allows you to ride the wave from the peak. It also gives you the speed to glide effortlessly on small waves, making it easy to surf. It also has the design to be a high performance board. It has a single wing swallow with a thin tail and an extremely deep wing. Thanks to this wing, even with a thick board, you can easily make sharp turns by placing your foot on the tail. This wing becomes the axis of rotation. The elevator wing also further improves turning performance. There is a gentle elevator wing with a step of about 16 cm that runs toward the front fin. The tail is wide, but the elevator wing allows for easy and smooth rail turns. When you put the rail in, water flows along the elevator wing, which makes it possible to turn in narrow areas and prevents sliding. The rail rocker is added to the elevator wing area. So even though the board is wide and thick, this rail rocker acts as an axis to enable sharp turns even in narrow pockets of small waves. The area in front of this provides forward propulsion and speed, while the tail area where the back foot is located provides excellent turning performance. The curved carbon line on the bottom, a feature of the FLEXLITE-BOOST structure, gradually widens from the nose to the tail. The buoyant front foot area, where the carbon is narrow, is firm and moves forward when you step on it, increasing acceleration. And by ending the carbon in front of the front fin, the rear tail area, which is free of carbon, flexes, converting it into speed. This grab rail allows you to grip the rail firmly even on boards with buoyancy, making dolphin-throughs easy. The grab rail grooves also reduce the buoyancy at the front of the deck slightly, making the nose of the board lighter and easier to turn. This is the new PLACEBO model "GOBLIN" designed by me, Mayhem. So, check out the video! [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/157386278[/vimeo]

Nishii-style trip "How to store a surfboard in a board case"

Nishii recently went to Amami Oshima for 3 nights and 4 days with Surf Trip Journal magazine and brought 3 boards with him. I took some photos to show you how I store the boards in the board case to prevent them from getting damaged. From Nishii's 34 years of experience on surfing trips, the bottom of the board case, which is the part that is most likely to break when you hold the handle, is the part that is most likely to break. If the board is placed here with a bang, the rails of the board will break. So Nishii placed "SURF GRASS" in this area, The board wraps around the three rails to protect them. I had two wetsuits with me, Wrap it around the nose and tail, The nose and tail may also be placed vertically. It's a good idea to guard against it. The trick is to use a beach towel and a change of clothes to protect your board well. "SURF GRASS" is When we changed into our new clothes at the destination, everyone said, "It's comfortable~♪ It feels good~♪" I was happy to use it. It can also be used as a change of clothes for everyday surfing, It can also be used as a board guard, This is a very convenient and stylish surf item. Click here to purchase!

I'm glad I brought "GOBLIN" to Amami Oshima. Here's my DAY 3 report.

The waves at the main break this time were small, with the maximum being chest-sized, so I'm glad I brought "GOBLIN." This board is fast and quick and works great! I had Midori from Green Hill do it for me, On the island, There is a reef break where you can surf. There were so many that I can't remember them all. This trip is to report on surf trips that can be easily taken all year round. This time, I used Vanilla Air. It costs less than 10,000 yen one way, and if you book through a campaign it can sometimes be as cheap as 3,000 yen. It takes about two hours one way, and you can get there for the same cost as commuting from Tokyo to Chiba. It's crowded every weekend, The water temperature is mid-winter, so you only need a 3mm full suit and no boots. Japanese island trips are likely to become popular in the future! When you make a reservation at Green Hill, please mention that you saw Nishii's blog. Mom and Dad will treat you warmly and kindly!

We rode Gob-chan! Day 2 report from the Amami Oshima Surf Trip Journal.

Nishii rode the PLACEBO "GOBLIN" FLEXLITE-BOOST . It's not a board that's typically ridden in reef breaks, but it was perfectly ridden and durable, so he was able to ride it safely in shallow waters. He was able to take off super fast, even in clean, waist-chest-high offshore waves. We went around checking out the waves in lots of different places. I was surprised to find that there are so many great spots in Amami. There is no other place where you can drive around on both the right and left reef breaks in such a concentrated area. Maybe you've never been there before. Photo taken under a banyan tree. High-floor warehouse. According to Midori from Green Hill, this used to be something that every home had. I took some behind-the-scenes shots with a drone. It was windy so I was a bit scared to take the photo. This is a photo of the members of this group taken with a drone. Takaichi from Tabligeide's new equipment. It's incredibly heavy. Nishii's Tehiro's PLACEBO "GOBLIN" FLEXLITE-BOOST. In the morning, I surfed on the Pacific coast. In the afternoon, I went surfing at a right break about an hour and 20 minutes away on the East China Sea side. Akira JET Nakaura in Tehiro Fin Out Twist Air The FU WAX grip is really effective. Close-ups of Masato. These are cut-out images from a video screen. He controlled LOST's "CHOPPER" with ease and his air and curves seemed to be in good shape. Please look forward to the release of these videos!!

This is a report from the first day of Surf Trip Journal's surfing coverage of Amami Oshima.

This is a report from the first day of Surf Trip Journal's surfing coverage of Amami Oshima. We are staying at Green Hill. FU WAX is available in our store, chosen by local surfer Midori. Yagijima, a break on the East China Sea side Nishii rode the LOST 5'7" DIABLO-SPARTAN! Masato's signature model is the LOST 5'5" CHOPPER. Masato Yukawa and Akira JET Nakaura are two members of the FU WAX team. While checking the waves, they were onshore today. Nishii is talking about Makino Daichi, the island's youngest professional golfer at 19 years old. Photographer Char is very interested in Nishii's secret weapon, the OSMO camera. Char moved to Amami Oshima a few years ago. Masato's combination makes for an incredible lunch. After surfing, we went around to check out some spots. The wind was blowing from the Tehiro area and the villas on the Pacific side, Because the size is small, today we will be looking at the onshore East China Sea side. I went surfing at Hatohama. The wind was strong so we surfed when the tide was going out. Since it's not yet published, I can't reveal too many photos, With waves like this, It was a peculiar wave that peaked onshore. I hope the waves will be better tomorrow.

As with "GOBLIN," we are accepting reservations for these two sizes for the first shipment at the end of March.

Gob-chan, who is monopolizing the conversation PLACEBO's "GOBLIN" We have a board that will be arriving for the first time at the end of March 2016. I'll let you know once more. it is, This is PLACEBO's most popular model and has been the best-selling model since its release last year. PLACEBO "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" FLEXLITE-BOOST . New to this model are 5'9" and 6'3". As with "GOBLIN," these two sizes are available for pre-order for the first shipment arriving at the end of March. Mayhem had been riding a 6'2" PLACEBO CONQUEST EL-DIABLO FLEXLITE-BOOST , but after testing the 6'3" size, he finds the new, larger 6'3" size suits him better. The 5'9" size is a bit thin and short for a 5'8", but The 5'10" size is long and suitable for those who find it too big. I think there are many people who are at the right weight for this intermediate size, Please consider the 5'9" size again!
