Learn moreThis is a summary report of the final day of the Yokohama Interstyle Exhibition "DAY3".
This is a summary report of the final day of the Yokohama Interstyle Exhibition "DAY3". PLACEBO “CONQUEST EL-DIABLO” FLEXLITE-BOOST The two new sizes, 5'9" and 6'3", were also popular as they were never available before. The wing design on these two new sizes has been updated! The performance remains the same, but the appearance from the deck side has changed. LOST's " BEAN BAG" is an amazing model that Nishii can confidently recommend to everyone, so I explained in detail how it's round and short and how it moves. This is the LOST "BABY BUGGY," a high-performance standard beach break model that will represent LOST from now on. Its volume makes it a good fit for Japanese quality. It's a global model that's sure to become popular worldwide, so keep that in mind. It's also recommended for those who want to ride LOST from other brands. This is a standard model packed with MAYHEM's shaping knowledge. Nishii rides it, and it functions flawlessly and lets you surf any wave. If you're an average paddler, it's a good idea to choose a board one inch shorter than normal. I also explained why the LOST "PUDDLE JUMPER-JP" uses a ROCKET tail. It's because it's tailored to Japanese waves and the size of the rider's feet. The rails are shorter to improve maneuverability, and the board is designed to make it easier to control the tail for Japanese riders with feet of around 25-27cm. The LOST Carbon Wrap technology board has been getting a lot of press. The carbon lines are not just decorative to look good, but are wrapped around the board like this to optimally flex the stringerless EPS foam and convert it into speed. The LOST "BLACK DART" surfboard was extremely popular due to its beautiful appearance and luxurious texture. By combining techniques such as tint, opaque, and trash, you can create a unique custom board. Because of its excellent strength, it is the perfect material for classic models that you want to ride for a long time, such as the DIABLO series. FU WAX was also on display at the exhibition, along with other Brazilian surf waxes. However, the surfers who make their living from surfing in the WCT and WQS don't use them. If a surf wax with performance superior to FU WAX were to appear, I'm sure Kelly, Dane, and other tour surfers would use it, but everyone still uses FU WAX, now and forever. I've seen many pro surfers sponsored by other surf waxes in Japan use FU WAX. It's also well-known in the USA that a certain popular surfer uses FU WAX. FU WAX's high performance is clearly noticeable when you use it: it doesn't melt, doesn't stick to wet surfaces, doesn't migrate, has long-lasting effects, and has excellent grip. Since you're already using it, you've experienced the difference for yourself! Even so, the PLACEBO "GOBLIN" was the most popular model. If you want to experience sliding off the waves like on a longboard, then you should try this "GOBLIN"! PLACEBO "GOBLIN" FLEXLITE-BOOST /JPY138000+tax We are now accepting pre-orders for the first shipment arriving at the end of March! As of today, there are only a few sizes left, but you can still make a reservation!

Learn moreThis is the best model for riding in Japan! New model "PUDDLE JUMPER-JP" announced!
If you're riding a Puddle Jumper in Japan, this is the best option! It comes tuned up with a cool ROCKET tail! Yet again! The new JP model "PUDDLE JUMPER-JP" has been announced! The US model Puddle Jumper has been tuned for Japan to suit the waves! Easy to ride regardless of level! No quirks! A NEW-JAPAN design for a wide range of users. "PUDDLE JUMPER-JP" model explanation The Puddle Jumper was the most popular board in the USA in 2014-15. We requested Mayhem to tune the original design of this board for riding in Japan, and they made improvements to the board design to suit Japanese waves and riders, resulting in a Japan specification that exceeds the performance of the original model. The tail shape uses the "ROCKET" tail, first designed by Mayhem, which was a global hit. The "ROCKET" tail is an ambitious tail design that combines the best performance of three different tail shapes: the "Squash" for speed, the "Round" for light movement, and the "Diamond" that makes the board shorter than its actual length for easier riding. With a very subtle rocker vent from nose to tail, this board is stable and glides well. It handles small waves with ease and performs better in larger, more powerful waves than the original Puddle Jumper. The rounded outline, straight center rail line, and solid nose rocker make it easy to control even in large waves, and it's perfect for both reef breaks where you need to draw long arches, and beach breaks where you need to maneuver quickly. The thin rails mean you can ride powerful waves at open-face points or reef breaks without any instability. The bottom features a single-double vee concave, designed with Japanese surfers in mind for speed in both small and large waves. The bottom concave connects to the vee at the tail, and the wide outline is designed to easily catch any wave, anytime, anywhere, and provides good balance and stability while riding. This vee bottom with concave lifts the board, allowing the board's wide design to move effortlessly and even allow for radical top-to-bottom movements. The Japan-exclusive "PUDDLE JUMPER-JP" model, equipped with a ROCKET tail, is easy to ride regardless of skill level and has no quirks. The new model "PUDDLE JUMPER-JP" can be ridden by beginners to intermediate level riders who have mastered takeoff and paddling. With its wide and low rocker, it is suitable for everyone from beginners to experts. If you want to ride a Puddle Jumper in Japan, this ROCKET tail JP specification is the best! Learn moreLOST announces new Diablo model! What is the "DIABLO-SPARTAN"?
LOST announces new Diablo model! What is "DIABLO-SPARTAN"? This board was created by reducing the volume and re-adjusting the design of the DOS-DIABLO model to further improve its maneuverability. Mayhem has super-tuned the DOS-DIABLO to be able to win competitions. "DIABLO SPARTAN" model explanation The DOS-DIABLO was such a magical model that we tuned it to a level that could even compete in competitions. We received many custom orders for the DOS-DIABLO from surfers with long experience and average paddling skills who didn't need the same buoyancy as the DOS-DIABLO, but wanted a little more volume (buoyancy) than other JP models, such as the SUB-BUGGY-JP or SUB-DRIVER-JP. Mayhem saw this and realized that there were so many customer needs, so they decided to create a separate model, tuning up the size and design of the "DOS-DIABLO" to meet their wishes. The model was named "Spartan," which represents its fighting power. When Love Surf rider Hiroki rode this model, he said, "This is the best Lost model I've ever ridden," and he decided to use it in a competition. The thickness of the rounded outline is less than that of the standard high-performance DOS-DIABLO, lowering the CL value. The width is the same as the stock size of the base DOS-DIABLO model, but the thickness is less, so the CL value is set to be approximately 3cl less. The reduced buoyancy makes it very agile and significantly improves its maneuverability. The width of the nose and tail is slightly narrower than the DOS-DIABLO. The bottom rocker has the same gentle rocker curve as the DOS-DIABLO model, a performance board. The tail design is a rounded squash tail with rounded corners that allows it to ride any wave. The DIABLO-SPARTAN is thinner than the DOS-DIABLO, but it still retains the Diablo series' most distinctive feature: fast paddle and takeoff performance. Of course, it also features the traditional dolphin grab, making it easy to grip the rails and preventing fatigue during repeated dolphin runs. Highly recommended for those who are overweight or whose physical strength has declined with age. This model is of course a Japan-exclusive model developed by LOST Japan. Take on the Spartans and dominate your rivals with waves and victory. ▪️Size lineup 5'7 x 19.25 x 2.25 (170 x 48.9 x 5.7cm) 26.5cl 55-65kg Intermediate 55-60kg Advanced 60-65kg 5'8 x 19.50 x 2.32 (173 x 49.5 x 5.85cm) 28.0cl 60~70kg Intermediate 60-65kg Advanced 65-70kg 5'9 x 19.75 x 2.38 (175 x 50.1 x 6.0cm) 29.5cl 65-75kg Intermediate 65-70kg Advanced 70-75kg 5'10 x 19.88 x 2.44 (178 x 50.4 x 6.2cm) 31.0cl 70~80kg Intermediate 70-75kg Advanced 75-80kg The DIABLO SPARTAN is a model that I have shown the markings of on this blog several times. It has the least buoyancy and is the most agile model in the Diablo model series. Even though it has the least buoyancy, rest assured that it has the most buoyancy of all the other performance line models.
