Learn more about LOST's "CARBON WRAP" surfboard! These are the specifications for the production version of the popular LOST "CARBON WRAP" board. This is the "CARBON WRAP" mark, which was used during development. The smallest letters say "PATENT PENDING." This means "patent pending." This "CARBON WRAP" mark is included on products sold. The smallest letters on this say "PATENTED." This means that the product is a "patented product" and is proof that a patent has been obtained. Also see the difference in carbon used. The board on the left is under development, and the one on the right is the production version. The carbon in the center of the board is different. It is connected to the deck from the bottom and is wound up from the rail. As you can see, the two carbon fibers are different types between the development version and the final product. In this way, we aim to make the LOST Carbon Wrap surfboard even better. We continued to test and develop the product by changing the carbon material and the glass used. We are now accepting custom orders for LOST's "CARBON WRAP." Please consider it! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=33746

Nishii has returned from her job as a flight attendant and will be working at the Love Surf store starting today, the 11th (Friday)! This is the LOST TEAM board in San Clemente, This is a warehouse where boards for trade shows are stocked. Like LOST, it's colorful yet uses cutting-edge materials. It was produced with pride in the brand concept of "high performance and high quality." There are lots of boards stored. This is Catalyst, a glass shop that specializes in Mayhem's POLY boards. Currently, the custom order LOST mark is the red circle LOST mark in the increasingly popular "tie-dye" color! This is the LOST surfboard headquarters warehouse, located in another location. This is a photo of the ROCKET tail of the ``PUDDLE JUMPER-JP'', which I've been enjoying riding for a while now, when it was finished. This one was not finished well when it was finished, so I had it remade. This is a custom-ordered BEAN BAG board from a Japanese customer. In this way, even minor imperfections in the finish that would be considered perfectly acceptable in the USA market are not a problem. At Love Surf, we have thorough quality control so that you can purchase our boards with confidence. After completing daily meetings with Mayhem, Nishii returned to Japan last night. I will be working at the Love Surf store starting today, Friday the 11th, and look forward to seeing you there!
Learn moreEarly morning barrel and air session with LOST's "DRIVER" Masato Yukawa at Grubs!
LOST DRIVER x Masato Yukawa This afternoon, I took Masato, who was flying to Japan, and we went to Grubbs in Salt Creek at dawn to take some photos. Today Masato chose the magic board he brought from Japan, the LOST "DRIVER" POLY . Early in the morning, I barrel rode the first wave I found in the dim ocean. This is a shore break and looks like a damper wave at first glance, The waves are deep so it's great for photography. Even carving the waves to the inside makes for a picturesque scene. The local birds were also very interested in Masato as he flew around. This is Nishii's favorite shot of the day. The LOST "DRIVER" is a high-performance model with a thick center and thin rails. This is a Mayhem masterpiece, created through a collaboration between Julian Wilson and Mayhem, with repeated test rides and design adjustments. This model was released a few years ago, but it's one of Mayhem's classics. It's currently available for custom order!
Learn moreLOST's "CABON WRAP" is the center of attention in the US! Everyone is looking back!
I took a lot of photos today too. First up is Salt Creek. It was early on a Sunday morning, so just like in Japan, it was the busiest time of the week and the beach was bustling with surfers. It was Newport Beach in the afternoon. You can tell right away when you ride the LOST "CABON WRAP." Just by turning, you can see the two carbon lines on the bottom like this. This is what it feels like at the bottom turn! This is also true for laybacks and carving! If you do it in the air like Masato, you can see everything! Even when you're gliding straight, you can see the carbon on the deck. If you're familiar with this LOST "CABON WRAP" board, it's obvious! As you can see, it has become the center of attention in the US! Everyone is turning their heads! We have received many inquiries about the LOST "CABON WRAP." Currently, we only accept custom orders. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/24sblog/?p=33746 Click here for more details. Please try riding your favorite model and size. Your surfing will improve!
Learn moreThe LOST "CARBON WRAP" session had great spring acceleration on the arriving north swell!
LOST SUB-BUGGY x CARBON WRAP x Masato Yukawa LOST SUB-BUGGY-JP x CARBON WRAP x Koji Nishii The "LOST CABON WRAP" board has been added to Masato's magic board stock list. The model is LOST's "SUB-BUGGY." The wax used is, of course, "FU WAX" and the seasonal type is "COOL". Today's shooting location is UPPERS again. Due to the time difference, it's Saturday. The waves have finally picked up in size. It seems to be the first winter swell of the season. We shot over three hours of video and photos, so please look forward to their release in the future! As the sun was backlighting and the wind was blowing, Nishii took over from Masato, who had come up. The board is Nishii's magic board model "SUB-BUGGY-JP" , It is a standard size of 5'8". And finally, the long-awaited "CABON WRAP" is finally completed. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the LOST mark is a new tie-dye color! The LOST " SUB-BUGGY-JP" CABON WRAP that Nishii is riding has the exact same specifications as the official version that goes on sale. I had previously ridden the same model and size CABON WRAP test board, This new carbon specification uses a different type of carbon and is inserted in a different way, making it more flexible and providing amazing spring acceleration! It accelerated with great force even in sections with small waves. This is a cutback to hit the whitewater coming from behind. The board had great lift and return, so I was able to ride well right away. I can't wait for everyone to try out the CABON WRAP!
Learn moreIt's a CARBON WRAP board, and Masato keeps saying, "The rails fit in."
LOST SUB-BUGGY x CARBON WRAP x Masato Yukawa This morning's shooting location was UPPERS. According to the Surfline wave information, the size was expected to increase. The waves only increased in size a little. Before the wind blew, it looked clean and about this size. It's a CARBON WRAP board, and Masato keeps saying, "The rails fit in." If you compare the photos and videos to the POLY board, you can see that for sure. CARBON WRAP boards have no stringers, making it easier to apply weight when starting a turn. The board bends quickly, so it sinks well into the waves and makes rebound turns. The reaction is also very sensitive The difference with POLY boards is the soft, deep flex and bounce. The structure in which two carbon strands are wrapped around the EPS foam, which is already highly resilient, This further enhances the rebound effect. The flexibility of a surfboard is very important for surfing. Masato is also fully demonstrating the performance of the CABON WRAP board. Today, after that, Chucky said, I heard that the waves were getting better at 23rd Street in Newport Beach, so I went there. Friday afternoon, Local surfers from the area who had finished work gathered together and it was a super session. Masato's LOST CABON WRAP board was the center of attention during this super session. Even in the USA, LOST CABON WRAP boards are still only ridden by team riders. Not only is it new in the surfboard industry, but its high performance is also a hot topic. It looks cool and everyone would like to ride it at least once.
Learn moreWe will explain in more detail about LOST's ``CARBON WRAP.''
LOST SUB-BUGGY x CARBON WRAP x Masato Yukawa Today Masato is riding the same board as yesterday, the SUB-BUGGY CARBON WRAP. I went surfing at a beach break called Salt Creek. It's a wide beach break There is a small cape in the middle of it, and only the area around it is a reef. There are waves that break into right and left. This photo is from the right side, and Masato is doing air on a rock and standing on it. We will explain more about CARBON WRAP. MARKO's high performance EPS foam It is the lightest and strongest at 1.9 ounces. The deck is equipped with a special, high-performance, uninterrupted "X-Cross," which is much more expensive than a POLY board. This "X-Cross" is woven vertically and horizontally, unlike regular POLY board cloth. It is knitted diagonally at 45 degrees, Furthermore, it is woven with white polypropylene cloth, The flexibility is outstanding, Since the cross does not break, the board is strong enough that it rarely breaks. The resin is epoxy resin, which has soft clay that absorbs shocks and does not easily break, and boasts a surface strength approximately five times that of poly board. *Please note that Like polyboards, high temperatures and UV rays can cause discoloration, so be sure to store your board in a board case. When leaving it at the beach, cover it with a towel or something similar, and when storing it in your car for a long time, take measures such as leaving the windows slightly open or covering them with a shade to prevent it from getting too hot. High temperature measures are necessary not only for CARBON WRAP, but for boards made of any material, as they will melt the wax, so be sure to take measures against high temperatures. Patented, LOST CARBON WRAP technology boards are currently the center of attention around the world, Today, it was the center of attention both in and out of the water. The other day, Masato went to Australia, Apparently, a lot of people spoke to him there too!
