The rear foot is a small wave competition model that has a reputation for being a long-selling model among LOST models. Equipped with "SUB-DRIVER" movements! It took about 11 hours from Haneda Airport to LA Airport, and then about a 3-hour flight to Dallas Airport. It took about 2 hours by car to get there!

From Haneda, it was an 11-hour flight to Los Angeles Airport in California. It's a three-hour flight from LA Airport to Dallas Airport in Texas. I met Mayhem at Dallas Airport, who had just flown in from San Diego. After a two-hour drive in a rental car, we arrived “BSR Cable Park” SURF RIDE WACO Wave Pool Texas is about twice the size of California and is the second most populous state in the United States. Apparently gun ownership is permitted. Apparently there is a law that allows you to shoot at anyone who breaks into your home. So everyone has cancer in their car and in their home. Unlike California, the houses are all one-story and the land is large, and they keep buffalo and horses. My family was having a barbecue in front of our house. And the cars were all pickup trucks. Here are some photos taken by Nishii of Mason, Yago and M-Rod. They are amazing at air jumping in the ocean, He said that if you use the machine web at the pool here, you can jump higher. The waves are almost constant and the air section always breaks down in almost the same way from the front. I just kept picking up speed and trying out different variations of airs. Among them, "Yago Dora" had a high success rate and the air quality seemed to be one level higher. He is truly one of the world's leading air surfers! The photos taken by photographer Michael Moorer, who I introduced on my blog the other day, have been uploaded. I just saw it at the Lost office, and it turned out to be a really cool shot, with some great photos. We'll let you know when they're released! When I tell people I've been there, they ask me why the pool water is that color. This color is said to be a color that prevents the growth of bacteria in the water. In fact, the water was odorless and tasteless, and so pleasant that I didn't even need to shower after surfing.

The best boards for "City Wave Tokyo" and tips for conquering it!

I went to City Wave Tokyo , which opened in Sporu Shinagawa Oimachi! It's a much talked about wave pool that opened in Shinagawa Oimachi, Tokyo. I asked Love Surf's official photographer, Uehara-san, to take some photos of the lighting there, so please take a look. City Wave is a deep pool where you can practice your turns repeatedly using a realistic surfboard with fins, which was imported from Germany. It also helps you to concentrate while riding the waves. It opens at 7:30am and has hourly sessions, with the last session at 9:30pm. Nishii had never river surfed before, but it seems that if he thinks of city wave as river surfing rather than ocean surfing, he will be able to do it well. There are three wave levels: beginner, intermediate, and expert, but experienced surfers can start with the expert level. Up to 12 people can take turns riding the waves for 50 minutes, and you can ride around six waves. Unlike ocean surfing, city wave surfboards do not require buoyancy for paddling or takeoff. Also, the board should be short, have rocker, have a narrow outline, and have a thin, narrow nose and tail. I think it's best to keep the buoyancy as low as possible, about 5cl lower than your usual board, so that you can ride more smoothly once you get used to it. A board with a clear edge in the tail area makes it easier to turn without sliding or wobbling. For the first 2-3 runs, practice your balance as you try to find the best position on the wave to skate in, and once you can do so without falling, try turning. Even a pro surfer will fall if they try to turn on the first run. I think you can't suddenly insert the rails unless you've done it a few times, For first-timers, try to balance with the weight on the tail and avoid rail turns. I think it will work well if you imagine moving left and right from that spot. Nishii's board is a 5'9" F1 23cl model. For city waves, it is recommended that you start by riding two or three soft boards that you can borrow for free, and once you have mastered your balance, you can ride your own board. It seems that many people have been hitting their boards against the walls on both sides and breaking the noses. If you move suddenly, you'll lose your balance, so move slowly to get a better ride! Boards with wide, flat rocker noses and tails are not suitable for city waves. A board with a sharp, rockered design like the LOST "POCKET ROCKET" model is perfect! If you go below the white City Wave marks on both sides of the pool, It will stall and be pulled up, so try not to go below the City Wave mark. The trick to riding it well is to do so! If you go a few times, you can enjoy long rides that would be impossible in the ocean! Reservations can be made online! Sporu Shinagawa Oimachi " City Wave Tokyo " https://www.sporu.jp

Must-see! ▪️Explanatory video by LOST's "POCKET ROCKET" designer "MAYHEM"

▪️Watch the explanatory video by LOST's "POCKET ROCKET" designer, "MAYHEM." This is "POCKET ROCKET" It's a high-performance design that's different from DRIVER. It all started a few years ago when I designed something for Kolohe Andino. At that time, Kolohe was lighter than he is now and surfed with a quicker board return. 50% of LOST's team riders ride the "DRIVER," which is suitable for surfers who are relatively light, have slim lower bodies, and surf quickly. The other 50% use the "POCKET ROCKET" in contests. Suitable for surfers with small buttocks, thin legs and a slim lower body. "Mason Ho" "Yago Dora" "Michael Rodriguez" Also, all of Joan Drew's boards are Pocket Rockets. Compared to the DRIVER, the POCKET ROCKET has a stronger rocker in the tail and a thinner, more slender nose and tail design. The POCKET ROCKET allows you to precisely target the power zone and surf at high speed. It doesn't need big waves, but it really shines in hollow sections. It is suitable for shore breaks with steep, powerful wave faces and waves that can be dug up along the breakwater. This model is often custom ordered, and is popular with young surfers and juniors at the pro level, It is a design that is popular among surfers who are highly skilled but have weak muscles, or surfers who are still developing, and is also suitable for female surfers. A must-see for those considering RNF-RETRO and those not! New LOST TV released! The Fish by Lost Surfboards

The web media " SURF CLUB " has just released the new LOST They featured a 13-minute mini movie, which we've included below. Text by Junji Uchida /SURF CLUB "Fish" is a short film by Mayhem, one of the driving forces behind modern fish. Matt Biolos, aka Mayhem, is a shaper who carves the cutting-edge boards ridden by the CT's top surfers. He's also famous as a pioneer of the modern Fish. The 5'5" x 19 1/4", released in 1997, was one of the movies that triggered a change in the board scene, which was dominated by competition-style tri-fins. Now, just over 20 years later, a short movie looking back on the history of Fish has been released, aptly titled "FISH." Starring Chris Ward, Corey Lopez, Aaron "Gorkin" Cormican, and Andy Irons... This is a must-have for fans of The Lost World. The original is on VHS, so it has a laid-back feel, and the background music is great. The narrator, CR Stesic III, is a great choice, and he says some great things. Twin fins never go out of style. They're coming back, reinterpreted. -CR Stesic III Mayhem began making Fish in 1994. Apparently, rider Chris Ward was inspired by seeing Tom Curren riding a Fish in Hawaii and asked him to make one for himself. This was shortly after Curren had ridden Tom Peterson's Fireball Fish and Skip Frye's San Diego Fish, and was considered an oddball. Mayhem had never even carved a fish before, so he researched local surf shops in San Clemente to see what they were like. Inspired by a late '70s/early '80s MR-esque twin fin hanging on the wall, he created his own original fish. This was the prototype for one of Mayhem's signature works, the Round Nose Fish. An early model with a shorter board that wasn't as round as today's, the 5'5" x 19 1/4" board that Chris Ward and Corey Lopez thrived on was shaped by Karen herself, and was highly creative, setting it apart from Taylor Steele's competition-style boards. LOST.TV-TOM CURREN FROM 5'5×19 1/4 After Mayhem made Modern Fish, there was a boom in Retro Fish. However, Mayhem never made Retro Fish... In a previous interview, he said the following about that. I want to focus on moving forward and not copy the copyrighted work of shapers I admire. Everyone copied Steve Liz and Skip Fry's Fish and it became popular without even getting permission from the original shapers. That's awful. I called Mark Richards and said, "Hey Mark! This is Matt Biolos. We all love your boards, and so do I. Why don't we try and recreate the 1980 World Champion twin fin?" Mark replied, "Matt, I haven't made a board like that in 25 years." So I said, "We'll help you. We'll help you sell it." After that, Mark came over to my house and made 50 twin fins while we went snowboarding together as a family. -Matt "Mayhem" Biolos The reason this movie starts with the roots of twin fin fish, such as Tom Blake, Bob Simmons, and Steve Liz, is perhaps a sign of respect for the forward-moving fish that riders have been able to provide. We too should be grateful to the shapers who invented boards that take off incredibly quickly and keep going even after getting on.
