We are now accepting orders for boards made with a new material technology called "BLACK DART"! High performance stringerless EPS foam interior. The deck is made of a special unidirectional carbon deck cloth that is strong yet flexible, wrapped in epoxy resin. Flexibility is outstanding! The board is also light and strong. The BlackDart surfboard construction is It was developed by Florida-based Epoxy composites mastermind Drew Bagget. …Lost Surfboards has worked with Drew to fine-tune and license the technology. The BlackDart is built using a virgin 1.5 stringerless EPS core. The most eye-catching feature is that the entire deck is wrapped in our custom-made carbon/S-glass hybrid "BlackDart" material. All carbon fiber is unidirectionally spun from nose to tail, The S-fiberglass runs across the width (rail to rail). It's not a traditional two-way carbon wave. This material (i.e. this board) has nothing to do with stiffness. than a board made with traditional bidirectional carbon fiber fabric. Furthermore, it is a material that snaps and buckles (bends) very easily. This board still has quick reaction, high responsiveness, and It has the advantage of carbon fiber's shape memory. It does not have the problems that two-way carbon waves have. The second advantage is the hybrid cross. You can create beautiful color combinations using tints and pigments. The advantage is that it allows for a very good contrast between the S-glass fibre and the carbon. The carbon covers the entire deck and wraps fully around the rails, but not all the way to the bottom. This will keep the board from becoming too stiff. Only a light 4 oz cloth is applied to the bottom. The bottom is made of two layers of 4 oz. cloth. This results in a long-lasting board that is less likely to dent even with daily use. "That was 10 years ago. When I was using a board with two-way carbon fiber tape, That's when I experienced a buckle (bend) that was as sharp as a samurai's sword. Myth Busters (a program that investigates urban legends and other suspicious rumors whispered on the streets of America) When both unidirectional and 2x2 fiber were attached to plywood and an exploding ball was hit, The 2x2 shattered into pieces, the unidirectional fiber exploded, and the ball bounced. When I saw that, it hit me: all the carbon fiber material we use is It was either single or braided..." Drew Baggett. "Nate Yeomans used the BlackDart technology at a pro-am in San Diego. I won the race on a 5'8" V3 Rocket. This board is a stringerless blank with unidirectional carbon fiber. The entire deck is covered in two tint colors. Nate said, "It's the fastest board I've ever ridden." When we first produced and promoted Black Darts, I had no real desire or intention for it to be a competition board, but Nate showed me that wasn't the case." Matt Biolos Lost BlackDart Surfboard! The backside position you want to imitate, as seen in WSL Lady Kolohe

The waves have started to appear, but "Harley Pro" will be held on Thursday, September 17th. I became a lady again today. The waves are good enough, but there are only a few of them and the size is not expected to decrease tomorrow, so it seems that the decision has been made to hold the event tomorrow. Kolohe gave an amazing performance from early in the morning. He was the most noticeable. I'm sure he was disappointed to lose so soon in his hometown, but he was surfing well. SHAW and KEI's father, KOBAYASHI Masaki, also showed off his surfing skills that matched the wave quality on LOST's ``SHORT ROUND.'' Carissa Moore always wears the same color wetsuit. The board is always clear and simple. It feels like it's been the same for about four years. Kolohe is bending his body like this on the backside. This pose is a great example to follow, so please try it out. When you hit the lip, hit this part of the wave, get into this position, and use your back leg as the axis to push off the board and return it. I lost at a local event with this sponsor, I was relieved to see Kolohe in good form. There are six more hours to complete the men's and women's events, so once you start it can be completed in one day. The event will be held on Friday, September 18th, and by the time this blog is published, the winner will have been decided. "Wiggly Dantas" and "Carissa Moore" would be great!

Lady's WSL HURLEY PRO, Nishii, surfed on Puddle Jumper.

When I went to LOWER today, the WCT wasn't being held because the waves were still too small. Since it was empty, Nishii went surfing on the newly completed "Puddle Jumper" yesterday. My impression after riding it was that the dark resin color made it difficult to see the regular poly foam stringers, but It has the unique flexibility of epoxy resin, to the point that it almost feels like it's stringer-less. It's amazing how much the feel of a board can change compared to a regular POLY board just by wrapping the POLY foam in epoxy resin. The board has a very soft flex and was perfect for the small, onshore, windy waves. It's the closest to the flexibility of a Presebo FLEXLITE CANDY and is easy to ride. It rained heavily yesterday, but the rainwater flowed into the sea and it was warm. The water is as clear as the water upstream of the river, but I've heard rumors that it has a lot of bacteria, so I don't drink it. The usually crowded Lower was empty with only about 15 people in it. The CT surfers were practicing for half the time, so I was watching them from the water while surfing so as not to disturb them. Lost Mayhem Team CT Surfer Thomas Hermes, Brazil Mick Fanning has changed the color of his bottoms from yellow to blue. The giant goofy-footer "Wiggly Dundas" World Champ's "Gabriel Medina" Carissa Moore from the LOST MAYHEM team, who advanced to the semi-finals Others who were surfing were Adriano, the ace who will be in the quarter finals, and Miguel Pupo, who has already lost. Here are tomorrow's men's quarterfinal matchups. I hope "Wiggly Dundas" Brazil wins. This is the women's SF matchup. I want Carissa Moore to win Hawaii. The contest will start on Thursday, September 12th local time. The results will be out by the time this blog is published. *Additional note* She will also be a lady on Thursday, September 12th local time.

Combinations of two FCSII fin boxes colors are available for custom orders!

Nishii's new test board is now complete, so we'd like to introduce it to you. The model is "Puddle Jumper." Next to me is Coco, 5'5.5". This dark purple resin board is made from regular POLYESTER foam (blanks). This is a board that has been 3D vacuum glassed using Hydroflex epoxy resin. The inside is made of PU foam, so it's not as light as EPS or EFC, The outer layer is made of epoxy resin, which is elastic and absorbs shock better than poly. It is significantly stronger. I was surprised that the surface was softer than I expected, as it felt like it would go back into place when pressed. It seems like it will absorb the impact if it hits something unless it's sharp. The board measures 5'4". It is possible to accept custom orders, The FCSII fin box is a combination of two colors like this, "KA size M" on the side, On the rear, "CARVER NEO GRASS M size" I'll start by riding it with the QUAD, and if it's too loose I'll add an AUROLA REY fin to the center. After applying the LOST grips and looking at the tail, I confirmed that it has a wide squash tail design that would look good with a pointed nose. I can't wait to try riding it! I'll report my first impressions once I've ridden it!

It's cute. I'm riding a LOST MAYHEM. First appearance on 24'S blog "Alssa Quizon"

This is a report on the WSL Hurley PRO on the second day of the event. Rumor has it that hurricane-force swells are on the way and the event will end while there are still waves by Saturday local time. Ian Crane from the LOST team was in good form with 9 points, Freepe overtook him with his last ride. This is the cute WSL women's surfer riding the LOST MAYHEM this time. "Alssa Quizon" by Alssa Quizon (Hawaii) He rides a SUB-DRIVER . This model is a basic yet popular masterpiece from LOST MAYHEM. As I wrote in my blog yesterday, this is Michael Ho practicing. I was wearing lipstick. Her daughter Coco was eliminated in Round 2. It's a shame because he is a rider for the tournament sponsor, SWATCH. Maria also stood out during the early morning practice, but was unable to catch a good wave and was eliminated. It's a shame because she's a cute Hawaiian surfer who rides a LOST MAYHEM board. This is Noah Beschen practicing. He attracted attention with his energetic surfing. The appearance has changed to a simpler style, "KA" looks to be in good shape I'm looking forward to tomorrow's heat. This guy is Tomas Hermes, a small-time surfer from Brazil. I lost to Medina in round 2. Hiroto Ohara, who was attracting attention locally, unfortunately wiped out for some reason, but his turns showed WSL-level performance. I hope he will use this as a stepping stone to do better next time. However, even if he loses this round, he will still receive the $9,000 prize (approximately 1.08 million yen). It's clear why the WCL is considered an elite surfing event.

Here's a phone interview with Mayhem from Surfing Magazine

US Surfing Magazine before Hurley PRO Check out the phone interview with Mayhem. Kolohe's quiver. Photo: Matt Biolos The word Mayhem is the same as the round stone found in Lower Trestles. Naturally, some of the world's most famous surfers are backed by the Matt Biolos brand. Matt always feels the waves in his mind as he planes his board. Every year the World Tour meets in San Clemente, and when it does, Matt is swamped with orders from the best surfers in the world. For the 2015 Hurley Pro (starting tomorrow), Matt built boards for Kolohe, Mick, Julian, Taj, Alejo, Wiggory, Ricardo, Adam, and Freddie P. In the Women's category, Carissa, Maria, Coco, and Tyler will likely be carrying Matt's fiberglass. There are also some very dedicated surfers who are constantly developing huge numbers of custom orders. That's Kolohe Andino, whose results in the lower tournaments tend to affect his performance for the rest of the tour. As Trestles approaches, he is currently ranked 31st in the world. We called Matt and asked him. What kind of shape do you plan to get him into to get him out of his slump as a competitor? Matt Biolos: "Dino and I are hopeful that the new quiver will turn things around. Kolohe has focused on riding longer, narrower, more traditional boards this year that have been refined for the CT. He has kept those boards his own, but we built him a second quiver based on the boards that have been working well on the QS. Based on the board he used to win the Australian Open earlier this year, the new quiver is a little shorter with a wider tail block. It also has a slacker rocker for more movement." The board that beat Jeremy Flowe at Snapper this year was a combination of several boards. "Last year he changed his designs more and had more success, but mainly in good waves like Fiji and Brazil. After getting on the board and practicing surfing lower, it just didn't seem to work the way he wanted to approach it. The board was geared towards parko and finesse. @noah_alani The new board should allow him to get deeper edge backs and surf. We're slowly getting closer to the board that launched his surfing skills at age 15. The most important features of Kolohe's board are the smooth, flowing rocker and outline, which are perfectly suited to the slope of Trestles' coveted waves. We've just finished spray painting the board for him. @noah_alani The two surf photos above were just sent to me by Kolohe photographer Noah Alani @noah_alani and were taken in Kolohe the previous evening. By the time this blog is published, Round 1 will be over, but please support us and hope we can do our best and achieve good results!
