I checked out the waves in the San Clemente area, which had gotten even smaller. In the morning, the waves are thick because of the high tide. I rode the PLACEBO 5'8" RNF EVOLUTION FLEXLITE-BOOST. PLACEBO 5'8" "CONQUEST EL-DIABLO" FLEXLITE-BOOST This morning I went to Oceanside Harbor with Asaka and Yamane from Kokumin Tsumama, who help us sell FU WAX . The waves were breaking gently from offshore, so Nishii decided to ride his recently acquired personal board, the PLACEBO 5'8" CONQUEST EL-DIABLO FLEXLITE-BOOST . This morning coincided with high tide, so I would describe the waves as being like a single shell. The size was about waist-chest high. It was a thick high tide wave, and because the waves weren't very steep, it was hard to find a section to rip, but the CONQUEST EL-DIABLO was able to pick up speed, so while surfers on other thin competition models struggled, Nishii was able to make turns like this and ride the wave all the way to the inside. I wanted to ride the CONQUEST EL-DIABLO more, so I went to UPPER in the afternoon. The wind is blowing and the waves are not forming nicely, but I would still call it a versatile model. The CONQUEST EL-DIABLO is well-balanced and easy to ride, with no bias in the three performance areas of paddle, take-off, and maneuverability. The front fins are ``KA M size'' and the QUAD rear fins are prototype glass fins of ``the same M size as PF'' that were given to us by FCS for testing before the release of FCS2. The FLEXLITE-BOOST provides the best springback turn of any PLACEBO board when extending from the bottom. The waves have gone down in size and are the smallest they've been in the last few days. The waist and abdomen size can be set, and the maximum set size is about the size of the chest, which occurs very occasionally. BOOST is for those who want to prioritize performance. In the afternoon, the waves broke apart on the side of the shore. I rode the LOST 5'0" BEAN BAG. The fins are set up as [KA size S] in the front and [PF size M] in the quadruple rear . Wow, this model is really interesting. You can take off on small, choppy waves that would normally only be possible with a longboard. It's wide, round and has an ultra-wide tail. The way it glides is unique, instead of descending to the bottom, it takes off and glides like a longboard, gliding sideways and becoming quick and easy. Because it moves loosely, larger fins are recommended. You can float and surf like you're on a UFO! I'll try riding it tomorrow with bigger fins.
