We will introduce three surfs we did at four surf spots on Simeulue Island.

In yesterday's blog, I mentioned that I was on Simeloo Island in the Sumatra archipelago in Indonesia for an interview with Surf Trip Journal magazine, but the only day I was able to surf during the 10-day trip was yesterday, and filming ended there. Since it takes two days to get there and back, I'm currently updating this blog from Medan, Indonesia. Nishii brought three boards with him to Simeulu Island this time. I surfed at four different surf spots, and I'd like to introduce three of them. LOST 5'5" "RNF-REDUX" CARBON WRAP This board is the one I have surfed the most, called "DLYANS". I rode only on the light break. This is a reef break with a lot of power. The set includes hollow barrel waves and lip-bulb waves. It was the wave quality. I rode the smaller waves, from chest-sized to overhead size. Regardless of the size, the takeoff is fast and the speed is easy to pick up, so I was able to easily get through the fast-breaking waves and surf comfortably. I rode both the QUAD and TRI, but Nishii felt that the QUAD was faster and looser, which allowed me to ride better. PLACEBO 5'8" "EL-DIBALO PLUS" FLEXLITE-HYPER This board is a combination of the overhead size "DLYANS" and I rode at a point called "PEAK." At DLYANS, I rode it hoping to gain an advantage in catching waves when joining other groups, but it also felt amazing on Indonesian reef breaks. The paddle and takeoff speeds are self-explanatory, as anyone who's ridden it knows them. Even on deep reef breaks, it had good maneuverability, and the narrow tapered rear from the EVW wing provided excellent lip action and control in the barrel. I'd definitely recommend it for surf trips to places like Bali, which has many reef breaks, as well as beach breaks. PEAK, the point where the biggest waves in the area are always in stable conditions, was great for riding overhead-sized waves that broke along a roughly triangular overhanging reef, a mix of right and left beach and reef waves. The R2-Channel's speed was also impressive. LOST 5'9" "POCKET ROCKET EDD" POLYESTER I rode this board on a 40-minute surf trip to a spot called "TEA BAGS" on a remote island. I had heard that "TEA BAGS" has some decent-sized waves, so I brought my longest board with me, but I ended up hitting a triple-overhead, Hawaii-level wave like Sunset. It took a long time for Nishii to hit a wave the size of a Hawaiian wave, but the board had some rocker and, being an EDD, it had plenty of buoyancy and volume, allowing him to catch the wave well and take off. The wave would probably have been better sized with a board around 6'6", but out of the three, my board choice was the best, and I was able to ride several decent-sized waves. The "POCKET ROCKET EDD" really is the perfect fit for world-class wave quality! I also rode it on one round on the final day when I surfed at a beach break in Rivermouth called "INOR," which is head-sized. The waves were hollow and fast, so I chose this shape design so I could quickly turn sideways and start sailing. He will be returning to Japan soon and coming to our store for the LOST Surfboard Fair. We will be happy to assist you! Nishii will be at Love Surf from the 22nd, so please come visit us!

Introducing the highly anticipated LOST "Pro-Formance Series".

LOST surfboards have been ridden by team riders for many years. Do you know which model is the high performance model? Mayhem designs a new "high performance" model every year. The first is the "DRIVER" model, which is still ridden by Kolohe Andino for men and Taylor Wright for women. There are countless others, but the "DRIVER" design continues to evolve. Next, the second one is ``SUB-DRIVER''. The SUB-DRIVER is best ridden 1-2 inches shorter than the DRIVER model, and because it is wider and has less rocker, it is better suited to less powerful or smaller waves than the DRIVER model. Many surfers were also riding it at the WSL Chiba QS6000 competition. LOST "Pro-Formance Series" is Love Surf also has stock boards in stock, If you want to ride it early, we recommend a custom order. In California, many professionals are currently riding it!

This is a Costa Rican wave hit by Doug Van Mierio of the NECK TANS team. It's a clean, sloping wave with a nice size. He's also a LOST rider whose favorite wave is the F-1STUB. The Mexican wave was scored by Crosby Colapinto, the younger brother of Griffin Colapinto. Interesting angle from the drone. The freesurfer Luke Davis is doing airs in decent waves on a short 5'5" board. His surfboard is from LOST and his clothing is supported by RVCA. Three new boards from Ana Gonzalez. The top board says "PUDDLE FISH." The one on the left is a board with a new color design by Kolohe Andino. There are three other boards custom-ordered in the same color design as the original board, for a total of four boards lined up. The amazing KIDS surfer Eli Hanneman (left) and On the right is a photo taken when my friend Levi Young came to LOST to pick up the finished board. A BIKIN girl taking a rest on a pickup truck. Our DVD giveaways are very popular! Please take advantage of them! Mr. A, PLACEBO "GOBLIN" FLEXLITE-HYPER was chosen. He has been riding Lost's ORCA and FISHQUEST models and has had great success with them, and he feels very confident in the easy surf model designed by MAYHEM, which is sold exclusively in Japan, so he chose the Goblin FLEXLITE-HYPER this time. He said he thinks he'll be able to share it with his son and have fun in his home town of Shonan. Mr. B, PLACEBO "GOBLIN" FLEXLITE-HYPER was chosen. When he borrowed one from a friend and tried it out, he felt that not only was it fast in paddling and takeoff, but that it was also "incredibly fast!" He liked the overall performance of the "GOBLIN" and decided to buy the same one. Mr. C said, PLACEBO "GOBLIN" FLEXLITE-HYPER was chosen. He mainly uses the LOST "DOS-DIABLO" BLACK DRAT, and until now he has been using the PLACEBO "FISHQUEST2" FLEXITE-TURBO model as his second board for small waves, but he has now switched to the new "GOBLIN", a model that surpasses the "FISHQUEST2" model. From LOST in San Clemente! Check out the unpublished photos from 24's blog.

Our DVD giveaways are very popular! Please take advantage of them! This is the stockroom for the "LOST Leash Cords" that LOST produces with their original designs. There was a time when leash cords were called power cords. They are also sometimes called leg ropes. At Love Surf, the majority of customers choose the ``LOST Leash Cord,'' so it quickly sells out of stock. Nishii, who is on site, selects items that have run out or are running low on stock to secure stock. This is also the stockroom for "LOST Traction," which can only be purchased at Love Surf in Japan. In California, it's standard practice to stick "LOST Traction" on any LOST surfboard you buy. All models from 2016 onward are still being produced and sold, and 2017 models have been added, so it's nice to have a wide selection to choose from. In the US, it's called "Traction," but in Japan it's more commonly called "Deck Pad. " Each model of LOST Traction comes in 3-5 color designs, so we recommend choosing one that matches the outline of the tail of your board. If you're unsure which model is right for you, feel free to contact us. We'll give you some recommendations! The Lost Carbon Wrap is a much more popular board in California than it was in its first year. Even in California, when the waves die down, knee-high to waist-high waves can last for weeks, so it's becoming common to have at least one EPS epoxy board, which paddles faster and takes off faster than a Poly board. This is Anon's custom order form. Initially, Mayhem was planning to shape the COCO HO model, but this was quickly changed to the recently completed new DRIVER 2017 model. The DRIVER is currently ridden by many members of the LOST team, and is the latest model of this classic that everyone is interested in! This is a LOST "CARBON WRAP" board with two carbon bunts just installed. The thick carbon is applied by a dedicated technician using a special technique to ensure that the board doesn't protrude when completed. If you haven't experienced the "Double Flex" of the LOST "CARBON WRAP" bunts yet, be sure to get one! Our DVD giveaways are very popular! Please take advantage of them!

"Taylor Wright" He recently won his first tournament of the season at the WCT Brazil, and is back on track. It also ranked first after the Brazil tournament. "Carissa Moore" Recently, I've started doing air makeup as well. The level of women's surfing is getting better every year. "Carissa Moore" These are boards that are currently being ridden in Fiji. The boards with carbon on the bottom are made of MARKO EPS foam. "Carissa Moore" That bottom turn water shot in Fiji. The WSL judges' tower is in the upper left. "Kolohe Andino" A board rack in the garage at home. There are lots of boards with similar color designs lined up! "Kolohe Andino" This is Kolohe before his heat. This is the latest color design for his board. On the right is his father, Dino Andino. I received a message from someone who wanted to ride the PLACEBO 6'2" EL-DIABLO PLUS FLEXLITE-HYPER . "Noah Beschen" He is getting taller and taller. He inherited his father's surfing skills and has a great sense of style. I'm working hard to become the next John John. LOST " PUDDLE FISH " When I lined up four of these boards, it looked like this. This tail shape is called a "reverse swallowtail." This is the 2017 new model, an evolved version of the previous model "PUDDLE JUMPER". I highly recommend it as it rides well in the summer wind and small waves at beach breaks like Shonan! "Maria Manuel" She is currently out of the WSL with a sore right knee. For rehabilitation surfing, to enable stable take-off and riding that moves forward independently. I chose LOST's " PUDDLE FISH ."
