Photo shoot with the Jamaican brothers Kei and Sho KOBAYASHI.

Today, I was shooting a video at LOWER from the morning. These are the Jamaican brothers, Kei and Sho KOBAYASHI, from the Luvsurf TEAM. Kei, now 12 years old, is a Scorcher model. For the Pro Jr. show, I brought a SUB-SCORCHER. When I found Nishii's XTR Parallel Flex SUB-DRIVER, He said he wanted to try riding it, and seemed to be having fun and riding it well. The XTR epoxy board is light and fast, with no stringer in the tail. It flexes extra and bounces well when hitting the lip. I also feel that the Upsun is easy to pick up speed and has a quick first turn. The waves look like this and are small for LOWER, but they are clean and well-shaped. At P Mark, I found someone with a robot-marked playboard. This combination of marks means that the board is from six years ago. Although it shows signs of use, I'm impressed that it's still in good condition and not at all sun damaged or yellowed. Kei-kun came out of the sea early and went to school because school was starting. A LOST girl passed in front of the camera. Today we were able to take some great photos in the clean, windless Lower.

The XTR PARALLEL-FLEX is light, fast and works great!

Today I went surfing at Lower. LOST 5'7" SUB-DRIVER model with XTR PARALLEL-FLEX. The XTR PARALLEL-FLEX is light, fast, and works great, so I can recommend it with confidence. The fins are a set of AUROLA 4.5 for quick movement. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/item_detail/itemId,180/ It is currently sold out due to its popularity, but will be in stock around October 15th. According to the US wave information, the waves were ankle to waist high, so there were plenty of empty spaces. Nathan Fletcher was there, doing some cool surfing on a round, short-nosed quad. After surfing, we went to Catalyst, a surf shop in Mayhem. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/item_detail/itemId,1503/ Catalyst was previously run by Harvey Fletcher, who ran a surf shop there. It's a long-established surf shop in San Clemente. Behind it is a glass factory that specializes in LOST surfboards. I was working on installing FCS fin cups. Use this tool to drill the mounting holes for the fin cups. Then, put white resin around the cup to prevent it from spilling out. Like this, There are masking parts specifically for FCS. The lamination marks are arranged like this. The lined up white boxes contain various types of cloth. This prefabricated office is also located on the premises. This dusty, manly smell of San Clemente in the factories and offices...it's like LOST. MAYHEM surfboards, which are beginning to be called the number one in the US, are not the boards that are ridden by gay surfers at local OCs. LOST surfboards are chosen by surfers at a level that understands the superior performance of the MAYHEM shape, even by World Tour surfers who know the true difference.

Today I went surfing at Mayhem and LOWERS.

If you take a look inside the "Ghetto House" Glass Factory, The owner of Ghetto House, Paul, finished sanding the board. Blow air with a compressor to blow away the sanded powder, We are currently working on cleaning it up. This shop specializes in Lost Surfboard's POLYESTER glasses. Glass Factory in San Clemente. There was a cool sticker like this on the window. Today I went surfing at Mayhem and LOWERS. The venue for the recent WT event is still being demolished. Mayhem has recently been training exclusively with a famous surf trainer. My physical condition had improved, I had been free of back pain for three months, and my surfing was going great. This is a Blunt model with beautiful yellow airbrushing. Nishii is using the Lost SUB-DRIVER XTR PARALLEL-FLEX specification. The size of the board is the same as the stockboard size that arrived at Love Surf today. 5'7"x 18 5/8"x 2 1/8" (170 x 47.3 x5.4 cm) 55-63kg 23.36cl. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/board/lost_stock.html#sub-driver The Lost "SUB-DRIVER" is a favorite of current riders, including Kolohe. Nishii also likes the board design, which allows him to ride short boards, and how well it feels when he rides them. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/board/lost_model.html#sub-driver While Mayhem is waiting for a wave in the ocean, a bunch of people come up to him asking for advice about their boards. I'm currently riding this board, but are there any models you'd recommend? I want to get the XX model next. Most of them want me to recommend a board size. I showed Mayhem the board I'm currently riding, If you talk to them, they will pay attention to your riding and give you advice on your next board. The guy in the photo is one of them. He found Mayhem before he got into the water and started discussing it, and after he got out of the water he discussed and decided on the size. He said he would go and order right away.

Surf with the ``SUB-DRIVER'' XTR PARALLEL-FLEX specification!

Today, we're introducing the XTR PARALLEL-FLEX specification of the Lost "SUB-DRIVER" model. After the WT event, I had a quick surf at the trestle that was being cleaned up. I went to XTR Board Factory, an epoxy PRO company in Oceanside. Apparently today is a maintenance day, so normal factory operations are suspended. I was cleaning the newly installed 3DM machine. Habiya gave us a lecture on the software programming of the 3DM machine. The board will appear on the monitor in 3D like this. The board design can be changed by moving the path with the mouse or by entering numerical values. This is a photo of the inside of the room where our original XTR epoxy resin is mixed and produced. XTR boards with a center stringer are indistinguishable from POLY boards without the XTR mark on the rails. Habiyar is always trying out different prototypes, and right now he's testing out a stringerless board. They are currently testing the folding strength of different types of cloth, the number of pieces, and the XTR resin. This is posted in the city of San Clemente. This is a poster featuring Shane for the San Clemente Music & Surf Festival.

I had a meeting with Mayhem at the LOST surfboard factory.

Today I had a meeting with Mayhem at the LOST Surfboard Factory. Schoenbeschen came and brought his magic board. I had requested the same board from Mayhem. While looking at the board, Shane told MAYHEM what he liked about it, even down to the fine details of the foil. There are very few people who can describe board design so well in words. He is truly a surfboard doctor. Shane also requested a board for his son Noah. The board on the right is new, but the rails seem to be thicker. He shows Mayhem the old board on his left and requests that it be the same as this one. Lighter surfers are more sensitive to subtle thicknesses than heavier surfers, The smaller the board, the more important the balance of the details is. This is the magic board storage area that I introduced previously. Among them was Julian's usual happy-tasting art board. If Terry were to create something with that style, it would turn out like this. He showed me the new Julian board. It certainly has a LOST vibe to it. While staying at a hotel in San Clemente, I delivered a board to Chris Davidson, but he was drunk in the middle of the day and it was dangerous. The model is a driver. Mick Fanning, who is staying at a vacation rental in San Clemente, I delivered a Mayhem board, a special model that Mayhem shaped to suit Mick. He loved the shape and was very happy. Of course, I paid for it.

Julian gets another high score on the MAYHEM board!

Today's WT event, HURLEY PRO, has concluded with rounds 3 and 4. Although it was cloudy, the waves were bigger and there were lots of surfers. This is the VIP area where meals are even provided. You can also see the live score on the monitor. Julian again achieved the highest score of 9.8 on the MAYHEM board. Backside spinning air, switch stance, landing, then air reverse on the inside. This is the MAYHEM magic board, which was also featured on the cover of the current issue of Surfing Life. I put in the highest score, but Parko overtook me and I came in second. Third place went to Mick on a MAYHEM board. Mick Fanning also won R3 by a comfortable margin over Taylor Knox on a MAYHEM board! The day before, I borrowed a Kolohe board in the ocean, and he seemed to like the MAYHEM board. Apparently he took a few from Kolohe. This evening I was trying out a few MAYHEM boards only. On the way home I saw someone with two MAYHEM boards in their car, so I think I'll ride a MAYHEM again tomorrow. Nishii has been taking photos and watching the games with YUKI from F+ Magazine every day. It comes with accurate, extremely harsh commentary that only someone who keeps an eye on the world can provide. Luke practiced surfing this morning. Kei practices with the WT athletes in the evening after school. Coco-chan also goes surfing first thing after the match. Round 5 is scheduled to start tomorrow. Keep an eye on Julian and Mick Fanning riding their MAYHEM boards.

New Luvsurf TV: LOST “ORCA” Koji Nishii Koji Nishii

Luvsurf TV: LOST 『ORCA』Koji Nishii Koji Nishii Rider: Koji Nishii Board used: LOST 5'7" ORCA POLYESTER FILM & EDIT:TOKU-TOTAL VIDEO SERVICE This is a riding video of the Orca, a Japan-only model developed and designed specifically for the crowded small waves of Shonan. On the first run, the board started sliding smoothly with a light paddle, and then it easily went up and down on the small, sloping waves, making carving turns. On the second run, I was paddling on a funboard behind the peak, and even though the waves were not rideable, I paddled sideways and took off smoothly, making one move on the backside. On the third one, we took off and the top of the board ran up into the thick, soupy waves. The fourth one is a backside roller coaster, which is wide but works well. You can see that the takeoff is so quick that the fifth one starts sliding sideways before even standing up. Even when riding on soup, it doesn't sink, so you can ride long distances without losing speed. The sixth shot was a backside top speed shot followed by three consecutive top actions while spraying. He rode up to the person on the funboard who was riding far away and almost collided with him. In the seventh run, Long, who is riding forward, can only slide straight, but even in the same small waves, the Orca's board moves and he is able to ride well. For the last eighth slide, he starts sliding on the board with just a light paddle that involves rotating his arms three times. You definitely can't get this much initial speed on a normal board, so you can avoid getting caught in the thick soup of the waves and finish on a light roller coaster ride through the sections. Take a look at the extremely fast takeoff performance, where the board slides sideways before taking off even in small waves with little power. The special page for "Orca" can be found here: http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/camp/orca.html The "Orca" model introduction page is here. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/board/lost_model.html#orca If you can't watch VIMEO, please check out this Luvsurf TV YouTube video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6phcpMw9cmg

Julian came in 3rd at the QS NY PRO on his Mayhem board!

Julian Wilson came in third on a Mayhem board at the QS NY PRO. In the main event, Corey Lopez, Asher Nolan, and This is Brett Simpson from HB. Julian Wilson was also riding the Mayhem shape. After all, the boards that world-class surfers choose for competitions are MAYHEM shapes. Thinking how amazing it was, Nishii was enthusiastic about cheering on the team as he watched the WEB-LIVE every night. Here are highlights from rounds 3-5. Did you notice Kelly had a 5 fin set up? Nishii also loves the movement of the 5 fins, The effect was confirmed at a beach break in New York, which has similar wave conditions to those in Japan. Although it was a quad, Kelly was able to demonstrate the effectiveness of the move, which looked like a try. When the waves get thicker in the middle, it's easy to connect sections without losing speed, I like the loose feel that keeps the slide down when you lip it. (Kelly's fins look like Aurora Smallish's ...) This is LOST.TV - NEW YORK TRIALS AND EXPRESSION SESSION Gorkin beat Julian, who came in third, to win the Express Session. LOST TV is also available, so please enjoy that as well. You can also see the sharp riding of Placebo's Asher Nolan, who won the trials! It's a big city, so there are a lot of galleries. The waves were just right and the event was a great success.

Today's waves at LOWERS. There was no wind and the waves were smooth. It was a very hot day. Although the size had gone down, the waves were still good.
