MASATO MIX is a carefully applied base coat of "FU WAX" followed by WARM and COOL.
The wind was strong and it was raining from the morning, so we waited until the evening when it seemed to have improved. Masato is at the Luvsurf USA office getting ready for his DJ set at the NEW PORT club tomorrow. New board LOST "SUB-SCORCHER2" POLY model, Self-painting, MASATO MIX is made by carefully applying the FU WAX BASE, then layering on the WARM and COOL waxes. Shaw also joined the session after finishing his work with Lost. SHAW is the "SHORT ROUND II" model. High performance surfing on the irregular beach breaks of T-Street The highlight of T-STREET is the final close-out section. While I was taking pictures, I saw a guy riding a LOST surfboard. A large crowd crosses the street. First up is Masato riding the SUB-BUGGY "Funassyi" board. The SUB-SCORCHER2 is so unique that it could be called his own model. Masato was used to riding the waves, so he was able to surf steadily. Beautiful California sunset time. You see, it's called the Golden State. Hopefully the wind will die down tomorrow, but it's forecast to be windy again. I'll report back tomorrow.

It was raining lightly this morning and the San Clemente area was closed off onshore, I moved south and took some photos at Oceanside Harbor. The wind is unstable and gets stronger and weaker. Close out conditions at the beach break. Among them, Masato finds good waves and rides them one after another. I've been riding a board with more buoyancy than usual every day, and I'm getting used to the board and my condition is improving. By the time we got out of the water, the weather had improved. This is the newly expanded LOST surfboard factory. Arctic blank storage facility. It was made exclusively for LOST surfboards and has the word LOST written on it. The blanks (forms) are lined up beautifully and are truly impressive. At the LOST Surfboard Factory, Mayhem carefully took each board off the rack and gave them a final check before they were taken to the glass shop. LOST Surfboard Factory is currently busy as we approach midsummer, and we have received many custom orders from Japanese customers! Today we filmed another TEAM Luvsurf session at LOWERS. Early in the morning, before going to school, I participated in a session and rode hard. Kei Kobayashi is currently 16 years old. (I'm applying makeup from this position in this photo) The rate and variety of air make-up is increasing, The level of surfing is growing rapidly at the moment. Today I was riding the V2-SB model again. The same goes for the other LOST team riders. People tend to keep their favorite models for many years. LOST team riders always try new models, but they are used to riding them. There are many riders who pursue one or two models. Kei's father, Masaki, was also in top form and participated in the shoot. As an ambassador for LOST surfboards, he test rides our boards and gives us feedback. Masato is back today with ``SUB-BUGGY'' EFC by HydroFkex. This board was posted by Masato on Instagram. After receiving the comment "It looks like Funassyi", Masato calls it the "Funassyi Board." Nishii saw that the rails were thicker than usual, I surf with the feeling that I'm always going fast. It's Sunday morning in the Lowers. There's a slight onshore wind. Today Masato is carrying a new LOST surfboard and beach towel. The mark on the board is a mistake and is written as "JP", Masato's new board "SUB-BUGGY" EFC by HydroFlex. It's neon yellow so it stands out even when it's cloudy. The center has more buoyancy than usual, It also picks up speed before you even start turning. The no-grab air reverse still produces plenty of height even in waves of this size. Nishii was filming the ride on video. Here are the results of the interesting WSA contest that I reported on yesterday. Under 18 class and open men's class with no age limit Kei, who was entered in two classes, Double win in both classes! His father, Masaki, also came in second in the Legend class! Today's Lower waves. Both the right and left waves are great! Today Nishii is riding a SUB-BUGGY-JP carbon lap board. It's a shame that it doesn't have five fins so you can't ride it as a QUAD, but it works well as a TRI. It's super light thanks to the EPS, but the carbon fiber gives it a solid feel. This board isn't on sale yet and is still in the testing stage, but it's highly polished. The beach towel above is a new item from LOST and is Nishii's favorite. This is a point break called Church, located on the south side, to the left as you face the sea. The WSA contest is being held today and tomorrow. Kay and I went to watch and cheer on Masaki's heat. There were a lot of people riding LOST surfboards here too. There have been so many inquiries and requests for Japanese models from within the US, This is the extremely popular "SHORT ROUND" model, which was finally released in the US this year. This board with a cool airbrushed design is the V3ROCKET. You have the same LOST beach towel as Nishii. This design has just been released and is apparently very popular. He showed off an 8-point ride in the LEGEND class, Masaki advanced to the finals tomorrow. His son, Kay, takes a photo of his father's ride. Katsura is entering the OPEN MENS class, which has no age limit. Today was the annual test ride event for Murasaki Sports' surfing sales staff. There will also be a FU WAX trial booth! Approximately 120 people from all over Japan gathered! Team rider Hiroto Arai PRO also appeared at the FU WAX booth! Everyone here is already using FU WAX ! Amazing PLACEBO 2015 models! Of course, there are LOST surfboards too! Nishii's personal board will also be available so that as many people as possible can ride it at the same time! We discovered that the vibrantly colored "NEO GLASS" fins match perfectly with PLACEBO! There's also a SHORT ROUND II ! MAYHEM boards are very popular! The waves looked like this! It was a test drive of Point Panic! Everyone rode as hard as they could, as long as their energy lasted.
