Round 2 of the men's competition was held today, so I'll report on it here. Alec Ribeiro won his first WT appearance riding LOST's CARBON WRAP ! He just made his first appearance on 24'SBLOG yesterday, but he did it! He beat Julian Wilson! What's more, the board he was riding was a LOST ``DRIVER'' CARBON WRAP. CARBON WRAP was used in a heat for the first time at WT and resulted in a win. He did two 360 degree air reverses on one wave. He showed off some amazing surfing skills using the CARBON WRAP board material. He has incredibly thick thighs. "Kolohe Andino" is a POCKET ROCKET! Kolohe also did well today, catching waves right from the start of the heat and breaking away from yesterday's pattern! Big set waves, super high speed, Surfing like you're free surfing He scored 9.17 and 7.40 points, for a total of 16.57, for a comfortable victory! The 9.17 point ride was posted on Nishii's personal Facebook account and I posted it on LOST Japan's Instagram @lostsurfboardsjapan, so please take a look! After the heat, Kolohe looked like a completely different person with a different smile than he had the day before. There will be waves tomorrow as well so the contest will be held, so I hope Kolohe, Alex and Wiggory do their best in round 3. Finally today! Nishii arrived in California last night and immediately started at LOWERS. I went to a WSL event to cheer on the riders riding the LOST and MAYHEM boards. Today we started with SWATCH WOMENS PRO. Approximately 1/4 of the current WSL Women's Tour players I'm riding the LOST/MAYHEM board! Only round 1 was played. The first place in the three-person heat will jump up to Round 3, The second and third place players will advance to round 2 in a one-on-one match, with no losers. "Alessa Quizon" is a player who is good at front lip. I was riding the "POCKET ROCKET" model. I finished 2nd with a score of 11.83 and advanced to Round 2. "Taylor Wright" He is currently ranked number one in the world, so he appeared wearing a gold jersey. I ended up in third place because I was waiting in a bad position and couldn't catch a good wave. 8.43 and advanced to Round 2 in 3rd place.
