The buoyancy of Presebo is now displayed in liters as a numerical value, "CL"!

We have started displaying the buoyancy of Presebo in liters as a "CL" value! CL = Cubic volume of Liters (Board volume = buoyancy in liters) Each model of Presebo is introduced on the page, http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/board/placebo_model.html On the special page for each model, The size of the board/appropriate weight is written after "cl" is the volume of the board in liters. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/camp/CL_size.html The volume of the board itself is the value of the board's buoyancy. I think you learned about Archimedes' principle in junior high school. "Buoyancy is the weight of the water it displaces." In other words, the buoyancy is the volume that is submerged in water. Compare the buoyancy of the board you currently own with the buoyancy of the next board you will ride. You can compare the boards before purchasing without actually riding them. Please remember the CL buoyancy value of the board you are currently using. It's easy to find other models with similar buoyancy. If you want to paddle or take off faster, If you need buoyancy, such as a board for use in small or thick waves, choose a board with a higher number. If you want less buoyancy and more movement from the board, choose a board with a lower number. Below is a list of them. "SCORCHER" 5' 8” x 18.25” x 2.13” (173 x 46.3 x 5.4 cm) 50-60kg 23.4cl 5' 9” x 18.38” x 2.18” (175 x 46.7 x 5.55cm) 55-65kg 23.8cl 5' 10”x 18.75” x 2.25” (178 x 47.6 x 5.7 cm) 60-70kg 24.5cl 5' 11”x 19.00” x 2.31” (180 x 48.2 x 5.85cm) 65-75kg 25.8cl 6' 0” x 19.25” x 2.38” (183 x 48.9 x 6.0 cm) 73-80kg 27.1cl 6' 2” x 19.50” x 2.50” (188 x 49.5 x 6.2 cm) 78-88kg 30.1cl "AIRQUEST" 5' 4” x 19.25” x 2.07” (163 x 48.9 x 5.25cm) 50-63kg 24.72cl 5' 6” x 19.50” x 2.13” (168 x 49.5 x 5.4 cm) 60-70kg 26.53cl 5' 8” x 19.75” x 2.25” (173 x 50.1 x 5.7 cm) 65-75kg 29.17cl 5'10" x 20.00" x 2.38" (178 x 50.8 x 6.0 cm) 73-83kg 32.08cl "ROCKET" 5'5" x 18.75" x 2.13" (165 x 47.6 x 5.4 cm) 50-63kg 24.5cl 5'7" x 19.00" x 2.25" (170 x 48.2 x 5.7 cm) 60-70kg 26.7cl 5'9" x 19.50" x 2.38" (175 x 49.5 x 6.0 cm) 68-75kg 28.8cl 5'11"x 20.00" x 2.50" (180 x 50.8 x 6.35cm) 73-83kg 31.5cl 6'1" x 20.50" x 2.63" (185 x 52.0 x 6.7 cm) 80-90kg 35.3cl "TABLET" 5'8" x 19.75" x 2.50" (173 x 50.1 x 6.35cm) 50-65kg 30.74cl 5'10" x 20.00" x 2.63" (178 x 50.8 x 6.7 cm) 55-70kg 33.66cl 6'0" x 20.25" x 2.75" (183 x 51.4 x 7.0 cm) 65-80kg 36.6 cl 6'2" x 20.50" x 2.88" (188 x 52.0 x 7.3 cm) 75-90kg 39.81cl 6'4" x 20.75" x 3.0" (193 x 52.7 x 7.65cm) 80-95kg 43.06cl RIPQUEST 5'9" x19.63"x2.25" (175 x 49.8 x 5.7 cm) 50-65kg 27.41cl 5'11"x19.88"x2.38" (180 x 50.5 x 6.0 cm) 60-75kg 30.16cl 6'1" x20.13"x2.50" (185 x 51.1 x 6.35cm) 70-85kg 32.9 cl For example, the 5'8" of the Tablet is more buoyant than the 5'9" of the Rocket. It has less buoyancy than the 5'11" and almost the same as the Scorcher's 6'2". Depending on the board's rocker and outline design The speed of take-off and paddling may vary slightly, This CL number is an important number that will help you choose a board. *A difference of just 1cl can result in a noticeable difference in buoyancy. *CL does not correspond to ideal weight. Each model's concept design is recommended for different body types. This is because the weight settings are different. *Only available on new models digitally designed using the latest shape machine programs. Please note that this marking is not present on older models.

The waves are small again today in the San Clemente area!

The waves are small again today in the San Clemente area. This is T-Street. The waves are small, so no one is surfing. The waves are about waist-deep in Japan, but it was my first time at T-STREETH where I didn't see a single person surfing. This is the North Side of San Clemente Pier. No one is surfing here either. This is LOWERS. The waves are small but clean. As expected, there are always more sizes available here than anywhere else. Mr. Okuyama and Mrs. Okuyama, head salesmen at FAB Japan, I heard you're on vacation in San Clemente. We met up and went surfing. The board is my favorite, the GORKIN FIVE. The waves were like this and we enjoyed the private surf for a few hours until the wind started to blow. Shaw from Team Luvsurf also came surfing with his friends on an XTR/SCORCHER.

We are already receiving orders for our popular "Light Dry"!

I posted this on my blog the other day, ANCHOR "Light Dry" Zip -less Wetsuits The response has been overwhelming, and we're already receiving orders! The three most frequently asked questions from you are: 1. Why do I need this dry suit? The answer is, Rather than a 5x3mm semi-dry suit, which is heavy and difficult to move in, This 3.5 x 3 mm is lighter, thinner, softer, and easier to move around in. 2. Doesn't any water get in? The answer is, It does penetrate, but only to the extent that it seeps through the neck and wrists. Unless something extraordinary happens, seawater will not flow in or out as usual. 3. What should I wear underneath? The answer is, Anchor's Light Dry is thin and soft, Just like regular WET, you can easily turn it inside out and wash it, Unlike previous dry suits, you don't need to wear an inner layer. If you want warmth and ease of putting on and taking off your WET jacket, Long sleeves like these for surfing, Long pants are recommended. Because you will sweat, the fabric is antibacterial, water-repellent, and odor-resistant. It has finger loops on the arms and legs to prevent them from getting caught, making it easy to put on smoothly and neatly. To save money, This is it! I recommend it because it costs 1,500 yen per piece. If you leave it as it is, the fabric will get rolled up when you put it on, which takes time. "Finger hook" processing is required. If you attach a stick-on hot pack to the lower back of your WET, it will be twice as warm!

The last blog of the year is an interview with "MAYHEM"!

Please check out our short interview with shaper MAYHEM! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- …LOST Surfboards Shaper: Matt Mayhem Bioros Year I started shaping: 1987 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What is your shaping philosophy? "Don't ask them what they want, tell them what they'll want next," Steve Jobs said. "I think it doesn't matter what level a surfer is at; all surfers need a board that allows them to paddle efficiently so they can line up out to sea, catch waves easily, gain speed, and use that speed to control their turns." I try to offer a wide selection of board models and designs so that everyone, from beginners to pros, can find something that suits them and will improve their surfing level and experience. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who has had the greatest influence on your shaping life? Punk rock. The first time I saw or heard a punk band play at a house party, I knew I couldn't swallow what the mainstream media was trying to force on us. We rose up and created our own world, wrote and recorded our own music, made our own art, made our own toys (surf, skate, snowboard, everything I made in high school), printed our own t-shirts and sold them, made and published our own photocopied magazine, and so much more. The punk rock mantra of doing it all ourselves struck me as a teenager, so I started my own company, my dream, with just $500 in capital. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What do others think of your expertise? I'm not an inexperienced shaper, and I can always hear them chattering away as they simply mark things and make things, but I'm actually quite confident in my hand shaping skills. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How do you think about your expertise (skills)? I'm an expert when it comes to balancing my design direction, from pro surfers to friends. I spend as much time developing models for the average everyday surfer as I do developing progressive boards for the pros. I've become quite adept at packing my shaping gear into a cardboard box and getting on a plane. I feel confident shaping anytime, anywhere, in any country, under any challenging conditions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [What are the characteristics of the boards you make?] There are a lot. I mainly try to keep it fun. We don't sit and wait for the next trend to come along, we charge ahead. We chart our own path in design and brand direction. We are always early on in surrounding new technologies and pursue them with impartiality. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How do trestles affect shape? Having Trastels behind our house here in San Clemente is a great opportunity for me. It's great to be able to test and fine-tune my designs in consistent waves like the test course. This allows me to create fast boards with a focus on smooth flow when entering and exiting turns. It's also great that the world's top surfers all pass through here every year, and I get to build boards for some of them and give them feedback. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What is the biggest lesson you have learned in your shaping career? Life is short and precious. No one knows when it will end (we pray for Andy's soul). Focus on your friends and family, not on sacrificing yourself. I believe that if I keep surfing and designing, good things will happen. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you everyone for reading the 24'S blog this year! In 2011, we will continue to respond to your feedback and update the site every day, so please keep coming back! Well, everyone, have a happy new year! Luvsurf representative Koji Nishii.
