Must-see! LOST "CARBON WRAP" detailed commentary video by MAYHEM himself
Carbon Wrap. Now, this is really exciting. This board is made with Carbon Wrap technology. Carbon Wrap technology is something our Australian partner, Dan McDonald, has developed over the last five years. Dan and I partnered two years ago to manufacture surfboards in Australia. I immediately fell in love with the look and performance of Carbon Wrap. Over the last 18 months, many people, including material suppliers, pro surfers, and myself, have worked hard to bring this unique and amazing performance to market. The Carbon Wrap project creates a strong, light, and highly responsive surfboard that makes surfing easier and more fun. This cutting edge, high performance material takes surfing to the next level. The most impressive aspect of Carbon Wrap technology is that it shapes stringerless EPS boards. Visually, there are these two bands of carbon lines. They start close to the nose, gradually widen out to the left and right as they reach the tail, and then wrap around the deck surface just before the front fin. That's why it's called a "carbon wrap." What kind of flex does this technology create? The nose is stiff, and as the carbon bands widen, the flex increases. And the front fin, where the carbon wraps around the deck surface, is like the hinge of a door. It's guaranteed to be a fun surfboard. The carbon band on the tail not only adds performance, but also acts as reinforcement. It's the same as the now-standard carbon patch reinforcement. The bottom is glassed like a regular board, but with high quality S-glass. The deck surface is made of our proprietary carbon fiber called "Webfuse Carbon." This Webfuse Carbon is placed in areas that bear the surfer's weight. The deck surface uses X-glass that intersects at a 45-degree angle. Glassing the entire bike with X-glass has many benefits. Most importantly, lighter sections are more likely to buzz or break under load, reducing the chance of that happening, and spreading foot pressure evenly. Your front foot is here, and your back foot is around here. Normal boards cross at 90 degrees from nose to tail, rail to rail. When you step on the board, the pressure is only applied to the rail within this range. However, X-glasses connect in many directions and have more area to the rail, which means you can control the rail more effectively. The visually cool and attractive Webfuse Carbon certainly has a purpose, and it plays a big role. One of its purposes is to reduce the pressure caused by the surfer's weight. Most modern high-performance boards mold to the shape of your foot, which fits nicely to your foot. It's like walking or running in Nike shoes. This means it's designed to fit the shape of your foot. The Webfuse carbon in the center creates a depression between the rails. Other manufacturers' stringerless EPSs have nothing in the center. But this one has a gentle bow shape, so it fits your foot right from the start. The toe and heel areas feel like they're recessed, creating a gentle curve in the center. Suddenly it feels like I'm wearing familiar shoes. Prevents the center of the board from denting, breaking, or breaking We didn't want to create any extreme points of strength, so we gradually faded the edges of the Webfuse Carbon. By increasing the length and tapering the width, there are no fragile points. That's why we ended up with a nice cut of carbon like this. The carbon band wraps around from the bottom and overlaps with the Webfuse carbon, so there are no places where it can easily break. These are the structural features of the carbon wrap. Now let's look at performance. The waves aren't usually good when we go surfing, right? Everyone is looking for a board that's easy to surf in choppy waves. Being able to surf easily means that the surfboard is light, fast, and easy to move quickly. This carbon fiber arrangement and structure gives it a quick and strong flex. Carbon wrap is recommended by professional surfers. WQS surfers who surf in small, unpredictable waves often have carbon wrap boards in their board bags. To gain an advantage in unpredictable, unfavorable waves, I choose lightweight, shockingly high-performance carbon wraps. It's responsive, flexible, and allows for powerful turns. The forefoot has a carbon band that converges to the center, which gives it a stiff feel, especially if the deck is also made of carbon. When you step on the front foot, it doesn't flex as much. Because it wraps around in front of the front fin, the tail flexes, just like a skateboard. You step on it and it responds and turns. This is because carbon has a shape memory that responds quickly. Its flex accelerates the turn forward. Personally, I think that although there are many technologies and materials out there, carbon wrap is the easiest to understand. I think that just by looking at it, you can understand what kind of performance a carbon wrap creates and what it does. It looks cool, and it's easy to understand which parts of the board flex and why - that's carbon wrap!!! [vimeo]https://vimeo.com/163062207[/vimeo] So, please watch the video carefully and again!

LOST's Carbon Wrap is a magical board that will improve your surfing. "CARBON WRAP" is an epoxy resin board that is both flexible and strong. The epoxy resin used in "CARBON WRAP" is the most luxurious and high-quality resin available today, and is resistant to sun damage and discoloration, making it completely different from any epoxy board available until now. Carbon Wrap Surfboard Factory The carbon comes in a roll and is carefully wrapped. The striped carbon, which also adds strength to the deck, is applied by hand in this way. The resin is being scraped off with a spatula. This is the "X-Cross" that strengthens the deck. The "X-Cross" is woven at a 45-degree angle and has excellent flex properties. The person showing off his amazing surfing skills on the Carbon Wrap is: Kolohe and Ian. Ian's backside fin-free tricks are also super smooth surfing that is unique to CARBON WRAP. Kolohe has waves that are different from the WSL waves, similar to the size of Japanese waves. It's more flexible than my usual POLY board and I surf at high speed! So, let's see how well the Carbon Wrap rides! ...LOST board fans! "CARBON WRAP" uses patented technology and is really effective, so I highly recommend it! Learn moreLOST's "POCKET ROCKET" model explanation video released in which MAYHEM himself talks about it!
The Pocket Rocket is Kolohe Andino's signature model. He has been shaping boards for Kolohe since he was a child. Every two to three years, he works on Kolohe's board designs to help him surf the way he wants to surf. In the 2014 season, he achieved his best result to date, placing in the top 10 of the WCT. Kolohe started the 2015 season off right, winning the 6-star Australian Open. But then the WCT started, and he struggled to heat up and wasn't satisfied with his surfing. So he changed his board design to help him surf the way he wanted and get high scores. Kolohe rides a Driver and a Sub-Driver. What he wanted from this board was a little different. We considered the Whiplash, which Taj and many other pro surfers ride, but Kolohe needs more speed for big airs and hard turns. So we lowered the rocker on the Whiplash a little and changed the outline. The prototype for this model was codenamed WGL. I let Kolohe ride it and he loved it. Last year, Kolohe went to France for the WCT, but he hadn't done very well up until then. So I gave him a board with the same concept as WLG and named it the "POCKET ROCKET." While not as rockery as the Whiplash, the rocker was slightly stronger than Kolohe's usual Driver or Sub-Buggy. Riding this board, Kolohe won multiple times in France, even beating Kelly Slater. He continued riding the Pocket Rocket in Portugal, scoring 10 points and placing highly. Both Kolohe and I love the name "POCKET ROCKET." Designed with feedback from world-class rider Kolohe Andino, the board Kolohe chose to ride on the world stage, we want everyone to experience it. That's the 2016 new model, "POCKET ROCKET." https://vimeo.com/162517216

Learn morePlease see where to place the deck pads for "GOBLIN".
Please tell me where to place the deck pad for "GOBLIN" Please take a look at the questions we received from our customers. The LEASH cup in "GOBLIN" is on the side, not in the middle. Most surfers use regular stance "GOBLIN" is on the right side. The deck pad looks like this: If you attach the bottom part to the very edge of the LEASH cup, It's set up just right. If you really want to put it further back, If the kick tail is a large deck pad, If you cut the kick tail part with a cutter and then stick it on like this, You can stick as much as you cut to the back. We recommend cutting it in half at most. This is because the adhesive surface becomes smaller, increasing the chance of it coming off. This is the deck pad attached to Nishii's board "GOBLIN" . Nishii attached the bottom part so that it fit as close as possible to the LEASH cup. This is the same for other boards, so please use this as a reference for where to attach the deck pad! At Love Surf, we not only provide in-store services, Deck pad installation is free of charge. If you are ordering online and would like to have the sticker attached, Please feel free to let us know when you place your order. Come visit Luvsurf this weekend to see "GOBLIN" ! We just received some new stock so we have all sizes available now!
