I visited the glassing factory that specializes in LOST surfboards. The sanding room is as white as snow and resin powder is flying around. When sanding, wear a mask to avoid inhaling the dust. This is a custom order board from Japan. SUPER-DIABLO in ROCKET TAIL, all black resin color! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product! At Glas Bay, where the boards were lined up, the fins were being attached. Final preparations before installing the standard "FCSII" fin plugs. I used a router to make plug-shaped holes in the foam and then poured a little resin into the holes. The special installation fins are set on the plug. Five-fin boards have more fins than three-fin boards, so the work takes more time and effort, and the sanding process before finishing the board also takes more time and effort because there are more fins. For long surfing, a board with more buoyancy is better because you don't get tired easily! If you're not confident in paddling or want to ride lots of waves even in crowded conditions, choose the "DOS-DIABLO." If you prioritize mobility, choose the "DIABLO-SPALTAN." Mayhem always says that these two DIABLO series boards are perfect board designs that are so true to their concept that they don't need any further design modifications!

Nishii crossed the border to Mexico to ride LOST's "SUPER-DIABLO." From San Clemente, we passed through San Diego City and entered Mexico, America's neighboring country. To film surfing at a light point break called Samiguel in Mexico. We had to cross the border, but it was about a three-hour drive. The waves had clean faces in the morning. I took a video, and the waves were pretty good, lasting as long as 30 seconds. I have previously posted a report on my photography here in San Miguel on this blog. We are staying at the villa of SHAW&KEI's father, Masaki. I heard that the waves were good in front of this break, The San Clemente area has been forecast to be onshore for the past few days, so we quickly crossed the border. For lunch, we went to a nearby stand-up taco restaurant. It is a famous restaurant located on National Route 1 and is frequented by large trucks. The waves look like this and are very powerful. There is a river mouth on the peninsula and the bottom is made of large boulders, so the hole has a lot of power. Nishii is Black Dart from LOST's "SUPER-DIABLO".
