New riding video released! 5FIN SHARK model!
New riding video released! 5FIN SHARK model. Koji Nishii: Board used: LOST 5'8" XTR Parabolic DD 5FIN SHARK The movie's release page is here. http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/movie/lost_movie.html This is a riding video of a LOST 5-fin SHARK model XTR Parabolic Stringer. This riding video shows how by making the most of the unique flexibility of the XTR Parabolic Stranger, bending your body at the bottom, weighting the board, and then heading to the top, you can make driving turns more easily than with a polyester board. XTR PB is a cutting-edge structure that uses two radial wooden parabolic stringers with XTR characteristics. The stringers are highly compatible with XTR foam, creating a lively flex that makes the board bend as if it were alive. The XTR's unique speed flex flexes supplely and then returns to its original shape with great response, instantly raising your riding speed to the limit. The more weight you put on it, the further forward you extend your turn. With the XTR PB, you can easily gain speed with the same weight as always. The fins used in these videos of Pro Nishii riding are the AULORA "5.1 + 4.2 QUAD set" with the AUROLA "TINER FIN" attached in the center, which reduces the looseness of the QUAD fins and makes it easier to perform top action. We encourage you to try this 5-fin setup. Here is the board description for this model: http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/board/lost_model.html#shark4 Here are some impressions of this model: http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/board/24_impression.html#shark4 Ready-to-ride stocks for this model are available here! http://www.luvsurf.co.jp/board/lost_stock.html#shark4 The 5FIN SHARK is equipped with a super convertible 5-fin/FCS plug that can be used with not only the standard quad, but also thrusters, twin stabilizers, and even 5 fins for big waves that require drive.Depending on the fin settings, it is a board with an excellent design that can be used in more all-around situations than any other board. How about you all? The 5FIN SHARK XTR Parabolic Stringer is great!

Learn moreFive fins take a lot of time to work on.
Only those who have been inside a surfboard factory have ever seen this. Here are some photos. The board immediately after being hollowed out to install the FCS cups. The hollowed-out remains of that FCS Cup. The cup is made using viscosity to create an angle, and then white resin is injected and allowed to harden. The process for making five fins is very time-consuming, as shown here. Resin dripping and accumulating on the floor inside a laminating factory. This is also resin that has accumulated on another floor. When you look at it in parts like this, the dripping resin looks surprisingly beautiful. There are some interesting sights inside the factory.

Learn more…LOST Surfboards has announced a collaboration with FIREWIRE!!!
The latest big news has arrived!! …LOST Surfboards has announced a collaboration with FIREWIRE!!! FIREWIRE, which provides the well-known FUTURE SHAPES TECHNOLOGY (FTS), …We partnered with LOST Surfboards. "When we started FIREWIRE, the technology was too complicated and people were hesitant to try it, so we couldn't make the surfboards we wanted. As a result, we had to build our own factory and invest in it. But two years later, we've found an incredible supply network," says CEO Mark Price. "Recently, we've decided to solidify that foundation and think about which brands are the best fit for our technology and which brands share our vision for the surfboard market." …LOST was the obvious choice. …Aside from the global reach of LOST Surfboards and Matt Biolos' shaping abilities, Matt Mayhem Biolos was an early supporter of FIREWIRE technology. "When I saw the nev surfboards made with Future Shapes Technology (FST) in Europe a few years ago, I knew I had something I wanted," says Matt Biolos. And I believe FIREWIRE brought its technology to the USA a year or two after it was founded. The first thing I did was email FIREWIRE to order 300 SD2s. But they refused at the time. So after all the criticism, ridicule and mockery we at Lost have given FIREFIRE, I'm now excited to see them succeed. FST strongly felt that there was potential and demand in the market. If it is well combined with our users and competitor level shapes and designs, ...LOST's shape design will be proven to be even better!! "I'll never forget that email from Mayhem," Mark Price continues. "Back then, we were barely making our own boards, so we didn't have time to worry about making other people's boards. But things are different now!" FIREWIRE has no intention of sharing its technology with other shortboard manufacturers. "Some people focus on the beauty of our boards, but we believe that what we have is the most intangible technology in the world, and it is this technology that gives us a competitive edge. This collaboration gives FIREWIRE the credibility of being endorsed by LOST Surfboards, one of the world's premium surfboard brands, and helps LOST Surfboards build on their reputation for leadership." …LOST surfboards is working on a sandwich construction that combines balsa parabolic rails with Firewire's FUTURE SHAPES TECHNOLOGY, which will be unveiled at the LOST booth at ASR in September. Sales will begin in Spring 2009. The model to be produced has not yet been decided, but it is planned to be a 2009 model. Everyone, look forward to it!!
